Review: Classy graphic all around. B&W done well, good looking signature, high quality render, great nameplate swap, and amazing use of space. My only critique would be to slightly lessen the fade on "signed" and either make the team name font a bit larger to add some width. Both of those tweaks would need to be minute. Even without them its a 10/10 for me.

Review: I like the concept a lot and I think you conveyed a lot of information without overcrowding it. I would make minor tweaks and limit yourself to fewer fonts. There is a slight spacing issue on the right side as the info needs to be vertically centered and spread out, same for the hastag. It's a really nice template. 6.5/10

I have never loved anything more than this post. I want to have its babies!

1) Over the course of the last week Yukon has encountered some struggles. This time last week we were 5-2-3 and now we've fallen to 11-12-4. What would you say is the biggest factor in our recent slump and what do we need to do to turn things around? I think the biggest factor in our slump is trying to mesh different playing styles and player utilization. Our management team is playing around with the lines and sooner or later, they will find the perfect combinations to take us to the top of the conference. 2) If you could only choose one accolade, would you rather win the scoring title or win a Founder's Cup while only having moderate personal success? Championship parades are more fun than scoring title parades so it's Founder's Cup all the way. 3) Philly has pretty much been established as the league's top threat since the onset of the season, however after Sunday's sims the Mexico City Kings actually have passed the Reapers in the overall standings. Which team do you consider to be more lethal and who would you LEAST want to play come playoff time? Philly is more lethal and scary because of their depth. 4) We've had a decent amount of new recruits join our team over the past couple weeks. How did you discover the VHL in the first place and what about it appeals to you most? I found out about the VHL from a Youtube video and it is one of the best things I have done this year. The community is by far the best part of the VHL. 5) What other video games (if any) do you like to play in your free time when you aren't max capping your VHL player every week :D? I have been playing some NHL 08 on a PS2 emulator when I am taking a break from TPE earning. 6) In three sentances or less, please explain why Cow is a degenerate for even implying pineapple should on a pizza. For the pineapple lovers out there, why do you choose such a poor lifestyle and what are you going to do in the future to better yourself? I may be odd but I don't find pineapple on pizza to be a divisive subject. I would never order it but if someone else ordered a pizza with pineapple on it, I would have a few slices. Cow is a degenerate for sure regardless of his pizza preferences.

Update: 12/1 I appreciate the comments on the series! It's always cool to get some feedback. This week I wanted to use the double stripe made famous by Winnipeg. When I was going through the teams, I couldn't get the idea of using the houndstooth pattern with the Hounds' mask out of my head, so I combined the ideas. I attempted to use the stripes horizontally, like they will be on the jersey, but it never came out right. I am pretty stoked with the end result. C&C is welcome as always!

Review: I really like the double player look and the background work is damn near perfect. The logo swaps are valiant attempts and better than I can do but they just don't quite match the resolution of the rest of the player. The team logo at the bottom isn't in the right resolution and the design would be better with a different team identifier or just without it. 8.75/10

Review: You did a solid job of removing the logos and a nice attempt at the logo swap but it doesn't follow the skew of the viewing angle. The modification of goalie pads colors is well done! I like the effect on the font and the background plays well with the theme without dominating. You should feather around the player and upload in higher resolution to avoid the artifacting. 7/10

Update 11/25: I wanted to give the Lynx some elements from their logo, but I had a lot of trouble not making them look like the Ottawa Rabbits, so I turned to the actual lynx for some inspiration. The leopard pattern is actually very similar to lynx fur, and they are known for the triangular definition of their ears and below their cheeks. C&C welcome! I decided to take advantage of my day off of work and the extended TPE deadline to start a new series for the weeks without Trivia. Turns out this took me so much longer than I expected and I still need to work on the lettering but I think I have a good starting template. I started with VHLM's oldest franchise: the Ottawa Lynx. I went with the soccer styling of championships, where a silver trophy represents 1 win and a gold trophy represents 5 wins. Anyways, let me know what you think.

1) The Rush have come out the gate strong with a 5-2-3 record in the first week of the VHLM. What do you think of the good start for the team and where do you think we will finish in the standings at the end of the season? I think that we had a really good start considering our special teams have not been good. I am really happy to see our high shot totals and we are generally beating the other team in that category. Ideally, once we bring it all together, I think we can finish top 2 in the conference. 2) The Philadelphia Reapers have dominated the M so far going 9-1-1 to start the season. Do you think their success will carry over into the playoffs or are looking looking at the next Halifax 21st (swept in the first round by the 8 seed last season)? Philly is on fire and they have 3 max players so it is not a mystery that they are on the top of the standings. They should have at least 7 max players going into the playoffs which should equate to a 1st place regular season finish. Once the playoffs start, I think they will face some tough competition but they will go further than the 21st. 3) Our team has had really balanced scoring throughout the first week with many players contributing. Who would you vote as the team's Player of the Week for week 1? Michael Schmitdt had a great week with some odd minutes and kept us in it. He is my vote for PoW. 4) What stat (or stats) are you focused most on improving this season for your player? Additionally, if you had to target a TPE to hit for the end of the season what number are you trying to hit? Strength should have the biggest improvement between now and when Vick maxes out. Ideally, I want to 300 TPE by the end of season. 5) (For Rookies) Where do you think you will go in the VHL Draft and the VHLM Drafts? What teams would you like to goto? (For VHL Drafted Players) Do you feel ready to make the jump to the pros in S76? If so what VHL teammate do you most want to play with? I think I will ready to make the jump in S76 and join PatrikLaine on the Titans. 6) With the Christmas holidays about a month away, what plans do you usually have for the holidays? Do you have any Christmas traditions that you do every year? I usually have dinner with my girlfriend's family during Christmas but given the situation in the states, I hope we can at least do something to celebrate the season.

Review: I really like the background and the colors chosen. It allows the digital effect to play really well here and not to get too busy. The logo swap is dead on, you even hit the jersey fold perfectly. The font is a funny choice but I am for it. 9.75/10

Review: The effect is solid, especially when paired with the perspective. The logo swap was going to be incredibly hard to do well and I think you had a valiant attempt at it. It doesn't quite look like it matches the effect or matches the fold of the jersey (which is probably the most difficult part). Font is a bold choice and I respect that! 8/10

1. I had a ball in the Victory ProAm. 2. There was a lot of work done to prepare for the drafts. Defense and puck handling are the most improved. 3. The summers are lovely in Yukon. 4. I don't order pineapple on pizza but I will eat it if it's around. I won't say it belongs, but it doesn't not belong. Does that make sense?! 5. @fromtheinside is my favorite addition to the team. We have a very solid management team and I believe they will put us in great positions to win it all. 6. All of the trades San Diego made on draft day after the craziest. They had a rough year last year and are immediately in contention after those draft day moves.

Update 11/16: I swear I was not on anything when I came up with this design. I decided to go with the Rush as my next design after they drafted Vick. I was trying to figure out how to best capture the elements of the logo and give a sense of a rush. While this may result in rushing to the bathroom to vomit, I count it as a win. C&C as always!

Review: I like the template for the this design. I think that you could use this for multiple players without it getting boring. This is a solid logo swap but could use some feathering around the edges to better blend it in. 8.5/10

1. Yukon came away with a great draft without having to leverage the future. 2. I'm hoping to be somewhere near a point per game and hit the cap ASAP. 3. Take home the ProAm cup with the Victoria Monarchs. 4. Any functioning adult would be great as AGM. 5. I am super excited for the upcoming season, I think we will be competitive. 6. San Diego went hard this year to obtain draft picks and used them wisely. They should have 5 capped players by the middle of the season.

Review: This is the first video that I have seen for TPE. The beginning cuts were hilarious and the video morphed into something that really jelled well. Your collection of highlights and celebrations were all very solid. The jersey choice and logo are good but should be a little more differentiated from the other black and red teams in that game. It took me a second to realize they were wearing custom uniforms. Based on what you showed, it was less about the branding and more about the quality of the video, which was top notch! 9.5/10
