First Titans Presser for me! 1.) Would you rather have three horrible years followed by the best year of your life or four mediocre years? (if you're asking do we get to count 2020 the answer is yes lol). This is a great question, and it depends on how much I believe in the perfume theory. In perfumes, they add a bit of a gross smell because it makes the whole thing smell better (or so they say). I prefer the mediocre years as I fear that I wouldn't appreciate the best year after having three horrible ones. 2.) What’s one thing you always procrastinate on? I always procrastinate on whatever I care the most about. Perfectionism gets in the way and it's hard to let go of the project or sit down call it completed. 4.) What activities make you feel the best? I have found an increased desire for activities that make you lose a sense of time. Putting my phone away, having friends around, and going outdoors are the easiest ways for this to happen. A few examples are hanging at the pool, going on a hike, tubing down the river, or going golfing. 5.) What always makes you smile? Pets always make me smile. Animals are always so pure, I can't not smile when I see them. 6.) What was your favorite treat as a kid? Welch's fruit snacks hands down! 7.) What is a random thing that reveals a lot about a person? It's odd, but I have found that all of my best friends have older sisters, as well as I do. I have no idea why this is the case, but I inherently trust people with older sisters. We are just wired differently.

Review: Lots to love about this signature! Great sizing and proportions are met with the nice composition of the background image. The fonts are solid and make a statement that works well with the drop shadow (please send me the names of these fonts!). The icebreaking effect is also fabulous. The only critique is the lack of a logo swap. 9.8/10

Review: Way to source a high quality background image, a lot of times graphics are brought down by pixelization or artifacts when rendered in high quality. I like what you are doing with the writing wrapping around the player. The font choice is a little too close to Comic Sans for my liking. If you could have a Titans logo without the background, placed in the bottom right corner, and in higher quality that would round it off nicely. 8/10

Things are about to kick off!

1) Coming off the heels of a 4-0 sweep at the hands of the Reapers, do you have any thoughts on the series? How do you you reflect on this season as a whole? I didn't think we played that poorly. It was a super difficult matchup and we played them tight with their class showing up in small spurts. It was a disapointing season from a end-results perspective but I think we all learned a lot and grew. 2) (For Rookies) The drafts are coming up, how have you felt your pre-draft interviews have gone so far? Do you have specific teams you hope to end up on? (For drafted players) Do you think you are ready to make the leap to the VHL next season or do you want to run it back one more year in Yukon? I wish I could stay in Yukon for another year as the Titans don't seem to need any help. Seeing as I can't stay in the M, I am excited to use my banked TPE and develop into a role player in the VHL. 3) New Year's Eve is 3 days away. Do you normally have plans for NYE? What do you normally like to do? Since this year is messed up, Im sure there won't be many large gatherings for NYE. Do you plan to celebrate a bit differently this year or do you think the whole thing is overrated to begin with? We usually host a relatively large NYE party every year so this year will feel a different for sure. My girlfriend and I are actually looking to buy a house in the next few months so I am looking forward to having more space for that party whenever we can have parties again. This year will be quiet and tame. 4) 2020 will probably go down as one of the worst years in recent memory. Can you think of one good memory from this past year and share it? Joining the VHL and getting a cat are my 2 favorite memories of this year. It has been a really rough year for most people and it has helped realize just how fortunate I am and makes me want to do more to help out others. By the way, my cat's name is Scottie which I find hilarious now. 5) Looking ahead to 2021, do you think next year will be better? Why or why not? It has to be a better year! It cannot be worse, thats just a mathematical fact. 6) Do you have any New Year's resolutions or just any goals or plans for 2021 that you would like to do? My resolution for this upcoming year is to wake up when my alarm first goes off. I am a classic snooze hog and I really would like to stop.

1) We have finally reached the end of the regular season and it has been an interesting ride for the Rush this season. We had high hopes going in and although we are a playoff team, we admittingly fell a bit short of our expectations. Nonetheless, It looks as though we will be matching up against Mexico City in the first round of the playoffs.. What would you say our chances are of upsetting the 1 seed and moving on to the second round? Admittedly the season was a disappointment but all you need is a ticket to the dance in order to win. Mexico City is scary with their 7 nearly maxed players. We took 3 of 8 during the regular season matchup and only lost by 1 goal in 3 other games against the Kings. If we can have the rest of our team push for TPE during the playoffs, I think that we can topple the giants and make a solid run. 2) Going into the playoffs there are multiple teams this season who look absolutely dangerous and primed for a cup run. If we end up getting knocked out, what team do you think might go all the way this season and why? It would easily be San Diego. I had a great time there last season and they have some of the best community members playing there. 3) The offseason will soon be approaching everyone. What are your plans for the offseason? Both the WJC and the Victory ProAm tournaments take place in during the offseason before the next draft. Are you interested in participating in either of these tournaments? I would be lying if I said I wasn't tracking Vick's TPE against the rest of the USA prospects. I really hope the I get selected to play as I am right on the cusp. I will participate in the Victory ProAm unless its untimely demise at the hands of Z and Cow. 4) If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? I think I would go with immortality that I can turn off eventually. I am going to have to get deep here. It's has a huge downside of having everyone you ever know die but the majority of my anxiety comes from existential dread and immortality would solve that. 5) If you were hypothetically given the chance to know your entire future, but the cost was forgetting your entire past, would you take that deal? Why or why not? No chance. Have the future predefined would lose its luster. 6) If you won the lottery, let's say 20 million dollars.... what would do in the first couple days and overall what would you do with your winnings? The first thing I would do is take a trip to some amazing destination. When I return, I would plan on how to make the finances work for me so that I wouldn't have to work again, keep my family and future children living great, and donate whatever else remains. Hopefully, the investments would allow for continual donations.

Review: Rocking signature! The bevel on outside, the logo zoom and placement, the player cutout with recolor jersey, and the font are all perfection. My only critique would be the color choice for the lettering with the background, they are just a bit too similar and I think the grey outline is making that worse. Seriously a great signature and I would love to have one! 9.8/10

Review: I know this is your first graphic and I think that you have a good eye for layout. The fonts are clear to read, don't clash and the signature (I think, that's what it is at the top) is a great touch. A few notes would be to watch out on your spacing, all of your elements are a touch too big and would benefit from additional and equal spacing. The other note is to try and get better rendered graphics and save your work in a higher resolution. You can use the searching tools feature in Google Images to only search for high-resolution images. All in all, great start! 7.5/10

Fair enough. My goal was to get a series of these going while getting my skills back up to snuff and get to a jersey collection afterwards. I only have 2 teams left before I set this collection to rest but I can take a break from this for a week or 2 to mix it up. I somewhat disagree with the "same edit...same thing" comment as people do signatures every week and I think that argument would hold true for people that do those all the time. Each mask is distinct from each other one with design elements that are not shared between any one of them. I can assure you that even if I end up going with my initial design, I spend at least hour on these modifying and trying multiple drafts if the effort involved was in question. That being said, after 10 of these, I am a bit tired of them as well, so a small break is due.

Update 12/18: Miami and neon go together like peanut butter and chocolate. I wanted to add more elements than just the logo and the palm trees gave it more balance and color. This is also a bit of tribute to the Gary Simmons' cobra mask that inspired the series. C&C as always!

1) What is your favourite Christmas movie? If you aren't a movie person what is your favourite Christmas song/carol? If you hate Christmas altogether what is one of your favourite non-Christmas songs at the moment? The Diehard series is my favorite of the Christmas movie series. 2) What is the goto meal for Christmas dinner? Alternatively what is your all time favourite meal on non holiday days? I didn't grow up going to Christmas dinners but I have been several hosted by my girlfriend's family and a few with college friends. My GF's family always makes a leg of lamb with is great and delicious. There will always be a soft spot for a trash ham somewhere deep in my drunken college heart. 3) Season 75 is slowly winding down. Did it turn out how you thought it would and what do you think Season 76 is going to be like for your player? I think the season was a bit disappointing but given the depth and strength of this past draft, everyone had high hopes and only so many teams can make the playoffs. I hope that Vick isn't embarassing in his first year in the VHL next season. 4) How have you felt about your player's own performance this season? Did they over or under achieve? I would rate Vick's performance as right on track for what I hoped this season. Solid amount of assists and points although the shot totals are bit high. Defensively I am very pleased with the hits and shot blocks paired with the manageable amount of PIMS. The plus/minus category is really disapointing. 5) What would you say is your biggest fear? Being burried alived sounds horrifying. 6) If you had a time machine to back in time to any time and/or place where and when would you go? I would like to back in time to the age of badass flying dinosaurs. I will find the most badass one and train it to fly with me on its back.

Review: This is a really clean signature. The player layer is clear, and the recolor is spot on. There are many different effects and layers here, but none of them clash, which is impressive. I am not crazy about the font; it ties into the lighting a bit, but I think someone else might be better. All in all, this is stellar. 9.75/10

Review: Your idea is nice here, and you kept it simple. The player cutout is done well. The red streak effect over the player could benefit from being larger or not there, as you already have a couple of other effects. I like the clear text and the different effects work well together. Perhaps you can attempt a logo swap and work the player's name in there next time. Also, try to export a higher render to show off the work. 7.5/10

Update: 12/11 First off, a huge thanks to Sonnet for the high-res logos. Without them, I doubt this series would exist. This week I present the mask for the Reapers. I wanted to bring the triangular elements of the logo into the mask. I have been trying to shy away from gradients because they can get gimmicky, but hopefully it looks like the goalie is the hooded figure in the logo. C&C as always and Happy Holidays!

1) The Rush had very disappointing week in the past 7. Management has indicated that it may be time to start looking ahead toward next season, rather than clinging on to a 7th or 8th seed and limping into the playoffs. How do you feel about the teams potential direction going into the last stages of the season? It would be a shame to not hold out hope a bit longer and see if we can turn it around but I understand management needs to do what is best for the franchise. I would prefer the Rush win a cup in the near future over a first round exit this year. 2) If you had to compare General Manager MexicanCow123 to a Pokemon, what would it be and why? Cow is Mr. Mime. He is very expressive through emojis. Rumor is he is psychic as well. 3) Vick Fairchild is the captain of the Yukon Rush, much like Captain America is a leader in the Avengers. Who is your favourite member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and why? I always liked Daredevil because he seemed the most unique when it came to backstory and civilian disguise. 4) With COVID still causing many issues worldwide, the fates of many sports leagues are still undecided going into 2021. What sports do you follow the most and what are your favourite teams? What NHL team would you compare the Yukon Rush to? I follow all of the big sports in North America with a fair amount of european soccer thrown in. My favorite teams are the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Capitals, and Arsenal. I think that the Rush are most similar to the Jets, both of which had disappointing seasons but were very talented. 5) Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or 1 horse sized duck? Explain your answer. Ducks are complete assholes and 1 horse-sized duck would kill me. I think I could train the mini-horses into an elite fighting force. All I would need is a ton of carrots and sugar cubes. 6) Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing in under 72 hours!! Are you going to check out this game? If not are there any big video game or movie releases coming out soon that you are excited for? There isn't a big video game or movie release I am looking forward to.
