  1. The player Randoms was created yesterday, but there are already 12784 questions about him. 1. Randoms? His name is ''random'', but he's not random at all? what is this? 2. Why @Tagger easily figured out the fakeness of this project? 3. LATVIA? Is this player a lobby by @hedgehog337 agency or something? The most sus thing is the random has his birthplace at: ... .... GREAT BRITAIN!!!! And now take a look at Podrick Cast. He is now playing for the Riga Reign team which is managed by Benjamin Zeptenbergs. Benjamin was actually a first player in VHL from Hedge's agency. Now take a look at his teammates. Do you see something familiar? No? What about Edwin Preencarnacion? See? Now let's find out who Edwin's agent is... ...If you did find who Edwin's agent is, congratz! Now you definitely know it has something to do with Hedge, Tagger and @Victor a bit as well. Moreso, the random had Latvia at the third place (somehow Croatia did end up as second, but who cares) which is even more sus. 4. His height and weight are perfectly at VHL maximum. Random eh? 5. All 30 practice hours into checking? Is this another try to create Guntis Petenis' wannabe with hiding it behind some ''random project''? ... 12784. Why am I writing this? 2 TPE goes to Random. the random.org has decided to put them into: STRENGTH?????!!!!!!? this random deffo wants to make him a Petenis' stunt double wow.
  2. WILL NEVER BETRAY LATVIA!!! I just named Latvia a random country, what have I done

  6. so we all know what to do free this member and yes, it became easier to get TPE's. I mean we had real grading back then when 6 TPE wasn't a guarantee.

Are you making a goalie as your GM player? Remembering Pogge... 5. How the last and upcoming draft are looking comparing to early VHL drafts? (S1-10 or some like that)

  11. get Kiaskov triggered for a fight - CHECK GWG with his first career VHL goal - CHECK @Devise
  12. @Victor @Tagger @JardyB10 what a trio
  13. Who dis: Kallis Kriketers Is he even 18?: 21 His job: Being a goalie Is he Zdeno Chara?: 70 in. Does he get his weight up?: 194 lbs. His hood: Dagda, Latvia Kallis is kind of an odd case. He never was supposed to start his VHL career, but the @hedgehog337 agency had a trouble to find a decent talent after Centis Kurtutecis didn't believe in his skills (what a pussy) and Gaidis Olnīca was just too lazy (gonna be a broke boi soon for that). The agency managed to find that guy only when the trade deadline was about to close. Kallis was just some goalie who was playing in the regional tournaments for fun, but for now his life has changed completely. He was drafted 4th OV by the Ottawa Lynx (damn, again?) team in the S62 VHLM draft. Also, he's on the Riga Reign team system which means this draft will be the only in his career. Let's look at his green and red lights now. HE'S EATING AT: Work Ethic! This pro actually was a con for so many seasons for Kallis' agency. It has changed with the arrival of Ritvars Lupatlasis, an SBA star. Seems like Kallis decided to take this chance seriously which is an impressive feat. Considering that he was playing just for fun before he joined Hedge's agency, he already deserves an award for his determination. Plastic as hell! In other words, he's agile. That was one of his main strengths before he even was drafted to Ottawa. Rumors has it that he decided to focus on other skills now, but I think this won't be a problem for a young Latvian goalie as he still should be one of the most agile goalies in minors even if he doesn't puts much effort in it. He can listen to other people! It's hard to start your pro career without a mentor. Somehow Kallis managed to find the first goalie in Hedge agency's history who is teaching him the basics of the pro leagues. It's nice to see that our youngster can listen to people. He knows he can't do this by himself so he's ready to take an advice from other people. HE'S BEING WACK AT: What a psychopath! Kallis' emotions - that's what his mentor will need to adress first. Only a few scouts know, but he wasn't that calmest player when he was playing in his homeland, but for now he needs to be calm cool and collected. Otherwise, we may see a couple of penalties or even fights from this dude because sometimes he just doesn't know when to stop. Sleepy! We know he wants to pay attention to other skills. But for now, his reaction is shit. Period. Sometimes he's being very sloppy during the matches. Maybe that's not a tragedy when you're playing in some regional type games for fun, but the VHLM (and then VHL) is the different story. Looking forward to his improvement in that area. He's no Larkin either! I mean, being fast isn't the most important skill to have for a goalie. But he still can't skate properly. And that's despite of his exceptional talent at being agile. He still will need to leave the net and play puck sometimes so he needs to be fast to not being robbed by an opponent. So what we have now? A dude who's agile enough to impress scouts, but at the same time he can throw temper tantrums for no reasons. We shall see how his game develops, but for now just apprectiate his determination. He really started as just some another goalie. Now's he OP, just like Krīgars. Deal with it.
  14. The season has started! YAY! Riga is 2-6 so far. And this STHS sim pulls a weirdo once again. We're outshooting Quebec and then being outshot by Seattle? What kind of fuck shit it is? RIG G is inconsistent as hell too. Maybe Aamo is gonna do better things before he goes backup for the next six seasons. Talking about goalies. Kallis is sucking already. This sim is garbage so far. I need 20 TPE from achievement tracker and all this weirdo ass sim can do is handing a 80% game for my goalie? foh. Ths S63 draft is about to be even more huge. I already mentioned it in my article, but right now I'm looking and Tagger's live draft standings. And damn, we might have a full two round of 150+ TPE guys plus solid third round steals. Good to see majority of them are first gens. In fact, there is only one interesting recreate so far and it's Fong with his another welfare player. Or perhaps Eagles is gonna make a full return? Time will tell. Nothing to write about anymore. I already did it in my article and I'm still recovering from the party yesterday. So that's it and I'm out.
  15. *here it is!* We thought S52-54 drafts were really good...until the VHL saw a huge influx of members after the S60 draft thanks to our recruitment crew. Suddenly the second round picks became very valuable and even thirds are not easy to sell anymore. Everybody are hyped for drafts, then for the season itself. Discord is booming, the VHL Portal is critically acclaimed by new and veteran members. What could go wrong here? Seems like everything here is perfect. Every, but one. This thing is very pesky since it is one of the reasons why the activity could be killed and hype fades away. It's very important to move out of that period without losing very much of first-gens since it's indeed a boring time. So what I'm talking about? Here is is: I believe this is not only VHL's problem, but it don't matter. This period is not entertaining enough, period. I think the reasons for that are obvious, but I'm going to name them anyways: 1. Routine effect. We all are hyped about the start of the season and the first set of games are usually fun to watch. But then we need something new to stay hyped, but all we see are same old games...that's it. We can't wait for playoffs to start and then off-season. Especially if you're playing for a team that sucks and you know they'll be eliminated early; 2. We used to see an entertaining trade deadlines with some blockbuster or just interesting trades. Now we're seeing all contender teams already having no money even before the season starts. So nobody would be interested to take risks for probably nothing. Alright, we will see a trade which supposed to be a blockbuster between NY and Davos. The problem is that we already know about that. I guess, recruiting new members before may be our new wave of having an entertaining trade deadline; But where's the solution though? Can I name only problems and leave it to others to solve? Maybe, but there is one thing that could help: - I know we had a discussion about implementing mini PT during the season. Maybe it's time to put it into the mid-season and don't even at me with the TPE inflation, ok? or - Make seasons shorter a.k.a. shorten the regular season by a week or so a.k.a. the @Beaviss idea which brought some discussion, but it didn't go further than a poll. Also could help to avoid boring mid-seasons. By the way, we can merge that first and second suggestion into one to not lose much TPE. We can also put some more ideas, but we really need to figure it out before members will leave this site just because the mid-season is boring as hell. I'm also having trouble to be fully involved here in that period and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I do really hope first gens won't be too bored with the mid-season slump as S63 draft is about to be even more huge than the last one and we can help them with that. That's it and I'm out.
