  1. Since it's past the trade deadline, it's too late to sign somewhere as a free agent, yes?

  2. 1. Prepare for a couple of drafts 2. Personally, I don't like to wish failure on anyone, but I'd rather they go far so we can say we lost to the championship team 3. 30 goals doesn't seem too far out 4. The teams with historical relevance should get in I think 5. Ah jeez man, 3-0 now and they have all the momentum. I loved the way we played at the end of game 3, but we need to crack Vasi. 6. Uhhhhhhh first round loss? Lol that was simple
  3. 1. If I'm not mistaken, we missed the playoffs? We had a heck of a season though, we proved a lot of people wrong 2. I think whoever Yukon faces will have a tough time 3. I agree with the above post, Greiss would have been crucial 4. Pastrnak was a force to be reckoned with 5. Scoring my first goal for sure 6. I'd love to come back
  4. 1. With my earning, I have a feeling I'll be taking some time in the VHLE, so that will be exciting 2. I guess win a cup 3. the forum seems so never-ending at first 4. Working out or playing other sports 5. Lots of 80s and 90s rock 6. The Habs baby! 1993 all over again
  5. 1. Probably my dog 2. Re-tape my stick, I've found it actually affects your shot 3. I'd say a banana, I like to keep it light 4. Probably soccer or football 5. Slippers haha 6. I'd put a team somewhere in Asia, because there is so much population to capitalize on
  6. 1. We don't have much star power, but I think as we develop we can sneak in some wins 2. I'd like maybe 30 goals, pretty lofty but why not. 3. My expectations are becoming a solid VHLer for my whole career. 4. We have some tough competition in our conference, so pretty much everyone 5. If goalies could be captains, Greiss would probably we ours 6. Yes, I've managed well by taking my dog out for walks and hanging out with family.
  7. Thanks for all the other offers, I had a great chat with Advantage and his offer is irresistible! #KingsoftheWorld

  9. Review Great job making something different then normal. You did a good job including real time information in an interview style. All of that combined with the length of this article and the information in it I rate it a 9.5/10
  10. 1 I would put more tpe into passing 2 Better and worse at the same time but probably more worse 3 Neither team 4 VHL 5 VHL cup. It is a goal in my career 6 5
  11. Review: I think it is good how you included predictions for every team (in the playoffs) and gave a lot of good details in this article. My one piece of criticism is that you stretched out details a bit too much to make it a longer article so next time just find and include more information. I rate it a 8/10.
  12. 1 Yes, Tried to watch most games and Canada. 2 I got a Vegas GoldenKnights retro reverse t-shirt 3 All the usual things 4 Not very much at all. I expect him to be point per games but he’s been slumping at 72 52 regular season 5 0 playoffs. 5 Didn’t know that happened. Don’t really have an opinion. 6 Don’t know don’t really care as I just did a personal presser.
  13. 1 What excites me the most is how real the VHL feels 2 Saskatoon would be my first choice so yes 3 My pregame ritual is to always drink a little bit of mustard 4 I prefer to not listen to music and I don't have an album 5 I would play Football 6 Victor Foles has previously broken his collarbone
  14. Review: I like how you made multiples tiers and you’re descriptions for what kind of team makes the tier. I think that you could do better in putting more detail in the team descriptions. That’s along with the hounds thing I rate it a 8/10. Nice job.
  15. Review: I like this, it's almost like a news thing for what's happening in the league right now. I know you talked about not having bold stuff, but it really is a nice touch should you decide to do it next time. I like the short paragraphs and the spacing. 9/10
  16. 1 I think it is possible for us to come 2nd conference 3rd league 2 I see all of them going top three rounds. 3 Top prospects I don’t think so but it’s possible. 4 I’m thinking 125 points 5 Being drafted by Helsinki 6 Honestly only actually know canada’s So Canada I guess
  17. I haven't done a media spot in a while, so I figured I'd do a long one so I can claim it for a while. In this one, I'm doing a team review for my very own Saskatoon Wild, reviewing every single player in order of TPE. Florent Vericel, 264 TPE @dart In his fourth season in the VHLM, it is finally Vericel's time to shine. He and his magnificent build will go up to the Vancouver Wolves next season, but before then, he gets to take a victory lap with the Wild. He is leading the league in scoring with 38 goals and a mind-blowing 90 points. He will be capped within a day or two, and he will be the force that drives the Wild to whatever success they will have in the postseason. He is also second in the league in shots with 306. Rick Osman, 253 TPE @dylanjj37 The Wild acquired the 6'8, 250 pound Osman is a trade fairly recently with the goal to bolster their defense. Osman is a defensive whiz, with 85 TPE invested in the category. He is roughly ten points down from point per game, which is still not too shabby for a defenceman. S75 is Osman's incredible fifth season in the league, and he'll cap off his career with a few seasons in the VHL with the team that drafted him, the D.C. Dragons. Vivek Weiner, 250 TPE @coochiman After he claimed all of his TPE this week, Vivek Weiner became the third member of the Wild to become capped in the VHLM. Weiner was picked up in the last dispersal draft, and is going up to the VHL next season to be part of the incredibly successful rebuild orchestrated by the Riga Reign. Weiner is a terrific playmaker, racking up 53 assists along with 12 goals for a remarkable 65 points. Weiner also earns upwards of 10 TPE per week, so he should have a fruitful VHL career in Riga. Steve Eso, 238 TPE @Eso O captain our captain Eso is our leader on and off the ice. In his third season in the M, he has broken through the point per game barrier with 77 points in 55 games. Barring a total drop in earnings, he will join the Chicago Phoenix after this season. Although his earnings are a bit spotty, he manages to always do something other than practice facility and welfare and has a near perfect build. Battre Sandstrom, 230 TPE @Acydburn The commissioner's player, defenceman Sandstrom, has been an absolute whiz this season from the Wild blueline. With 27 goals and more than point per game, it's safe to say that the most recent mock draft's ranking of Sandstrom is fairly accurate(2nd overall). Sandstrom is a reliable earner, too, getting his commish pay plus the odd donation or presser. Sandstrom will be a gem for whatever VHL team gets him in the draft. Silas LeFriend, 227 TPE @yevty LeFriend is another crazy offensive defenceman. He has 62 points in 57 games, and although he mostly claims welfare, he does a bunch of other stuff and has managed to get this far in terms of TPE. Looking at is build, it looks very good if not better. If he keeps this up, the Prague Phantoms will be very happy to have him up in the VHL next season. Michael Fletcher, 222 TPE @DragonFire420 Our starting goalie, Fletcher has been one of the bigger reasons why we've had success recently. I can't critique his build because I don't know anything about goalie builds, but his looks okay based on his stats. His update log is full of weekly TPE earnings upwards of 10 per week, so that's something too be proud of. Also, he was traded from the Chicago Phoenix to the Prague Phantoms, so he'll join LeFriend in Prague hopefully next year. Gabriel Johnson, 213 TPE @GeckoeyGecko What I've found out is that there are a heck ton of offensive defenceman in the VHL. Johnson is definitely one of them. The dude has 23 goals from the back end! While he only claims welfare and practice facility, therefore making him a "clicker", he's now at 213 TPE, so he'll be joining the team that drafted him, the New York Americans, either this season or next season depending on whether or not he reaches the VHLM ceiling of 250 TPE before this season is over. Victor Foles, 196 TPE @Suzuki14 Ah, yes. My player. The one who fell to 80th overall in the dispersal draft last year. Foles' production has been decent. 23 goals and 44 points is still less than some of the defencemen, but solid nonetheless in comparison to the league average. Foles was drafted by the Helsinki Titans last VHL entry draft, and I'm hoping to get my TPE up so that I can join them next season rather than spending another with the Wild. Doing that starts with writing media spots and doing vhl.com stuff, so I like my chances so far. Braxton Hunter, 178 TPE @dshervill I like to call Brax the "better version of Foles". While Foles has more TPE, Hunter has been more productive and was therefore drafted ahead of Foles in the dispersal draft. Brax's build is almost spotless, the one of a power forward who can score. The 232 hits are also the epitome of a physical player. Hunter is also a prospect of the Phantoms, making him the third one on the Wild. At the rate he's earning, he probably won't make it up for next season, but that jsut means he has another year to wreak havoc in the M. Piero Angela, 165 TPE @Minermonkey Our backup goalie for this year, Angela is also a "clicker" and doesn't earn massive amounts of TPE. However, his stats are good and he should be able to head to Davos for at least a year or two after he's gotten beyond 250. At 5'9, he's one of the smallest goalies in the league, too. Logan Moore, 161 TPE @drewowo Moore has had a promising little career so far in the VHLM. Originally signed as a waiver player by Mississauga, Moore raised a few eyebrows in his 28 games that season and was drafted by the Seattle Bears and the Saskatoon Wild. He;s had just under half a point per game in his sophomore season, and has been earning decently. It seems both the Wild and the Bears may have found a gem late in the draft. Lenny Sanderson, 135 TPE @Gally Our rising star, top VHL draft prospect Lenny Sanderson has really opened some eyes in his rookie season. While only getting 14 points in 44 games, he's not playing very much and still has under 150 TPE. Sanderson has been earning like crazy, and hasn't yet recorded a week where he has earned under 14 TPE. Also, it seems he is from Antarctica, which is a bit odd. Jason Beauregaurd, 126 TPE @Bobby Bummhole Beauregaurd, who is apparently from Kazakhstan, is another clicker, albeit one who still has a while to go before he can join the Toronto Legion in the big leagues. In his second season, Beauregaurd has underwhelming point totals, perhaps because of his pass first build. I think the Wild nailed this pick, because it looks like Beauregaurd will serve for a while on the team. Brian Moreau, 119 TPE @weekz Moreau's earning has been a pleasant surprise this season. This week, he earned 24 TPE! Very impressive for a first gen. He is a prospect for both drafts after the playoffs, and it looks like he might go pretty high. His points, 21 in 54 games, haven't been eye-popping, but have been solid for someone with his TPE. Overall, a promising young talent. VHL teams should look out for him as a flier in the later rounds. Willy Myers, 101 TPE @Willy Myers Myers blasted out of the gates when he joined the VHL not too long ago, earning 101 TPE(including his 78 base), scoring a goal in his first two games, and then inquiring about changing the name of his player. An exciting way to make an impression, no doubt. If he keeps up this torrid rate, VHL scouts will be drooling all over him. His build also looks very good. Watch out. Chicken Nugget, 74 TPE @LT.CHICKEN NUGGETS Nugget reminds me when I just entered the league; eager to improve my player, but confounded by the many different threads and ways to earn. At only 74 TPE, he still has lots of room to grow, and I think if he at least learns how to claim welfare, he'll be well off for a career in the VHLM. With 2 goals in 25 games, he isn't exactly blowing up the league, but scoring as a rookie is difficult. Sebastian Andrews, 71 TPE @Sevsdast Andrews, on the other hand, has the league figured out. He has established himself as a clicker, and because he was drafted by the Wild, he should enjoy a long career with them. His 6 points in 57 games reflect his 71 TPE, but he should breach 100 by the end of the season. Alexis LePrince, 63 TPE @AnthonyOuellet LePrince is active in a couple VHL affiliates, so he can count on PF and an affiliate point task each week, which puts him beyond the title of clicker. However, it seems he is having trouble spending his TPE, and he has 16 of it banked. In his second season in the M, 7 points isn't terrible for a defenceman. He should also play for the Wild for a long time. 1,611 words claiming for 3 weeks
  18. 1 I honestly think Gabriel Johnson is the most underrated. He contributes offensively and defensively which is what you want. 2 I would update ours. I think our team logo could better represent us in my opinion. 3 I think Foles has done fine in most categories and has been on and off for scoring. Although when he’s “on” it’s really good. 4 Yes of course. 5 Again I’m going to have to agree with @dshervilland @Gally On this one. 6 I’m hoping for a new Bauer hockey stick.
  19. Review: Hey man, if one of us is going to fare better on the first line, put that guy in! Good luck to Brax, and thanks for the shout out and the kind words. I like how you spaced out the parts of the article, and my only suggestion is to maybe make the quotes italic or something next time. Great job 9/10
