  1. Still happy i put in my recommendation for you KC and I hope you will find your desired spot over there
  2. So you are basically saying Garcia was the reason Condor sucked his first four seasons
  3. It's a losing season for Moscow, but honestly it is what was planned. If you know you can not go all the way, why not take it easy for a year and call up some rookies to get settled in. And that is exactly what Moscow has been doing. And to be honest, the losing season doesn't even feel this bad. Besides having the least points, there are far worse teams out there in terms of goal differential. With a 93 goals scored and having received 105 goals against, the Menace are actually keeping it tight. For reference: six teams has scored less as the Menace and four teams have more goals against as the Menace. So they really are not as bad as the standings would picture. Considering the fact Moscow is weilding four rookies: Maksym Jankowski has five points in his rookie season so far. He's mostly a depth guy for Moscow at this point. The other three rookies however, are going head to head with eachother. Philip Stein has five goals and sixteen assists, Duncan Idaho has ten goals and eleven assists and Paul Atreides has eleven goals and ten assists, so they all are good for twenty one points this season. So despite being last in the league, there are a lot of bright points in Moscow.
  4. A quiet start for House Atreides Paul Atreides and Duncan Idaho, two of the top selections in the past draft were both excited when they heard they could play together. And in Moscow, the expectations of the duo were high. Having played together in both San Diego and Houston, they were expected to have high chemistry from the start. So both players were expected to hover around the point per game mark by the fans (and perhaps, themselves as well). After 15 games have played, nothing is what they hoped it would be. Paul Atreides scored five goals and got three assists, while Duncan Idaho got five goals and five assists. So in fifteen games, they have eighteen points.... together. While people might have been unrealistic to expect this of the duo, especially since the current top rookie Rolf Fizzlebeef only has twelve points, they are not that far behind. Currently all they can do is keep working hard, keep training at maximum speed and hope their numbers increase towards the ending of the season. Both members of the House Atreides, will hope to win Moscows heart over by the end of their rookie season. It is just a matter of time.
  5. The amount of likes really drops as the thread moves on. This clearly isn't working anymore.
  6. Duncan Idaho and Paul Atreides are training very hard to be ready for their debut with the Moscow Menace. But this is not a training like you would see other hockey players do. Paul and Duncan are actually trying to heighten Atreides his reaction speed by practicing in helicopter control. While it is offseason, the both of them reside on the planet Caladan, owned by the House Atreides and at this time a year, the storms are heavy and unpredictable. While Idaho his main duty is to keep the young duke safe, he also needs to make sure he becomes the best version of himself. So these storms were the perfect chance to heighten his speed and decision making skills. So while the storms were raging and the windspeed went above 100 miles an hour, they were flying off. In the far distance they noticed a tornado brewing, a perfect opportunity to test Paul his skillset. So off they went and Paul was fully focussed on completing this training exercise. So they flew towards the storm, with the intention of not hitting the tornado itself, he needed to stay on the outskirts of it. So while the storm was nearing them, Idaho was about to grab control of the helicopter, trying to secure his young Duke, but Paul said he had it handled. With lightning fast reflexes he managed to not only keep the helicopter outside of the tornado, but he was basically playing with it, circling the helicopter around it like it was a day in the park. Seeing his reflexes this high, Idaho was confident. If he can do this to a helicopter in tornado, imagine what he will bring to Moscow on the ice, we’re training a future hall of famer here. @Mr_Hatter

  20. The road to Moscow Duncan Idaho and Paul Atreides wanted to play together somewhere during their career, and with the two prospects both considered top three picks, this has proven to give some General Managers a scare, what if they would draft one and not be able to get the other one as well? Would that cause their guy to walk? Or would they risk it and hope they could also land the other one? The Moscow Menace were undergoing a transformation this off-season, long time GM Victor handed over the reigns to the new GM Spartan, and the two of them worked together on a smooth transition for a rebuild. Pieces were moved to Los Angeles to acquire the first overall pick. Leaving both London (third) and Moscow (first) as the prime suspects for landing one of the Dune boys. It only made sense to check the plans of both these teams and decide together who would get them. In the end, it was London who was more ready to make an attempt to go for the cup, so the third overall was packaged to Moscow in exchange for veteran Mikko Lahtinen , a lower first round pick and a swap of goaltenders. Giving Moscow the option to draft both the House Atreides members and have them unexpectedly, a chance to start of their careers together.
