Should Greenland be on Team World or Team Europe/Team Nordic?
OrbitingDeath replied to Zetterberg's topic in VHL.com Articles
Victor: "why would anyone make their player from Greenland before it became a portal dropdown option? It's not even a country" Just like you they like my old nickname better and wanted to play for its namesake country. I know this whole greenland trend is just to honor my old nickname. -
I can do Mike's article. @Spartan @Victor

1. The playoffs are over and the Seat Bears won the Continental Cu. What are your thoughts on how the playoffs ended and the cup winners? Congratulations to the Seat Bears for winning the Cu, I think their GM definitly knows what he is doing and the Bears are always in a good spot to contend, im not surprised by this outcome. 2. What are your expectations for the upcoming season, Season 78? The same thing as i had this year, become a point per game player 3. What will you be doing now that the season is over and we are in off-season outside the VHL? Grinding my weekly tasks, getting stronger for next year 4. The Season 78 draft is right around the corner. Who would you like to see join our prospect team or what position would you like to see filled? I have made my choices clear to the GM, but I would rather not spoil them in public 5. Any motivational words for our future prospects to be? Keep your head up or you won't see me coming 6. NHL playoffs are also right around the corner. Any specific matchups you are expecting or any matchup you would like to see? As long as the Avalanche win, I'm fine with anything -
Lets go Europe!

Share the rookie award When looking to the motherland we notice a system being in place in which all property is owned by the community and each person gets what they need in order to survive. After the last season with the Moscow Menace they feel the VHL should also implement this system for the awards. We feel that the rookie of the year award shouldn’t just go to one person, but to one line. The rookies Phillip Stein, Paul Atreides and Duncan Idaho played most of their season together on one line, and together they showed the league they were already playing more responsible then the veterans on the Menace. With a -1 for both Idaho and Atreides and a -3 for Stein, the rookie line got some great collective results, especially considering the Menace ending up second to last in the league, the plus/minus numbers really show their value to the team. But not only defensively they stood their ground, on the offense all three of them contributed almost equally. With just small steps of three points (Atreides - 62, Idaho - 59 and Stein - 56), they are all within just six points of eachother. And due to this unique fact, the three rookies hope to be able to share the wealth and raise the rookie of the year trophy with the three of them together, because in Moscow, sharing is what we do! Now it is up to the voting committee to make this happen. But we would appreciate the gesture if you listened.

1. So the season's officially over, and we're not in the playoffs for the first time in a long time. What was your favorite memory about this season? The pre draft negotiations between mcwolf and spartan to decide which of em would land both me and Atreides 2. Reflect on your performance this season. How did it go for you personally? Did you meet your expectations, blow them away, play like ass, etc. I wanted to end up on a ppg , but that might have been a bit unrealistic. But I'm happy with my point totals, and just a -1 on the team that finished second to last, i'll take it. 3. Which team will you be rooting for in the playoffs and why? Can someone let me know which options I have? I didnt follow anything besides our own stuff. 4. We've got the lottery tournament coming up, and currently the 2nd best odds to win the lottery. How are you going to prepare for the tournament? Smash some faces in, win the tourney 5. We're in an exciting scenario where the DC 1st that we traded for a couple weeks ago is now projected to be the number 1 pick in this season's draft, which means we own two top 3 selections guaranteed in this draft. Who should we select? Many nice people in the draft that I would love to play with, but i think nhlbeastmode_7777 will be a great selection 6. I did a little dabbling with VHFL stats today to try to identify problem areas in the current scoring system. If you were running VHFL, how would you assign points to each statistical category? This doesn't have to be every stat, just pick 2 or 3. Dont even try to change this, i got 7 points this year. Do not jeopardize our future by changing what is working for me -
29th, guess we had a strong group

Lets split the roty title three way. Rookie line of the year wins it

How do you fell with the Menace’s recent performance? It's better as I hoped for as a team, but I'm always a critic of my own players, so Idaho should have done better What do you think the attitude of the Menace fanbase is like? As long as there is vodka, its always a good time at the arena! There’s lots of third party activities the VHL hosts such as Town of Salem and an annual Chess tournament, have you ever been apart of events such as those? Yes, i have done town of salem, but i could not cope with the lying personally. I do not have it in me to play games like that. Have you been keeping up with any major sports event recently? Soccer The LR is an amazing place, what channel is your favorite to be in. I like the one where we gossip about Hatter all the time Last question, but not really a question, say something to roast Spartan. This will only get me fired. Lets not do that -
Wanting to try out a player article next time around as well.

Finally where he belongs. While the humble Paul Atreides picked his mentor Duncan Idaho to be this year's rookie of the year, the swordsmaster of Atreides knew better. It wouldn't be him. He thinks Atreides was just humble enough to not pick himself, but the omniscient future Duke has shown on the ice that he will indeed be the front runner for the award. So while the start was rocky and other rookies scored faster then the House Atreides members, but we are now over halfway of the season and Paul Atreides is finally on top of the rookie leaderboard. Coming of a four point evening in the games that Moscow played, he leads Zeedayno Chara and teammate Philip Stein now by three points. Atreides' swordmaster follows closely by 30, but he knew he would take a step back during this career, allowing Paul to take the spotlights. After all , as future Duke, all eyes will be focussed at him anyway, so why not start now while he is still young. While the lead is still only three points, we expect this trend to continue further down the season and have him increase his lead. Idaho will for sure be helping his future Duke in any way possible.
