The actual challenge Duncan Idaho represents the OrbitingDeath player agency, an agency that can be considered as one of the most succesfull ones in the VHL. Since entering the league at Season 31 with Remy LeBeau, they have contributed to 4 Hall of Famers, 13 Continental Cups and an infinite amount of awards by now. 10 of these cups were all with different franchises, Moscow not being one of that. Due to this fact, Idaho decided to go for it and have him and Atreides extend with the team for three more seasons, with an option for a fourth. A competing agency, the Beketov one, is an agency that started in the inaugural season. So about 30 seasons earlier than the OrbitingDeath agency. However this agency likes to compete with him for having played for more different teams. Due to this it seemed unlikely that Papa Emeritus would join the Menace at the draft, as he already had Moscow on its list. But after Moscow traded up to first overall to acquire him, it seemed to happen after all and that Papa Emeritus is happy to remain here. Mostly because Duncan Idaho isn't going anywhere and he will keep his lead. Even though it's not a goal for the OrbitingDeath agency and a 30 season head start, Idaho is okay with this. Let him have his battle, we all know the cups won with a different franchise is the real challenge. So hopefully Papa Emeritus can help Idaho achieve his agencies eleventh win with a different franchise. Welcome to the team @Beketov!

The hardest fight in Idaho's life. The time he single handedly nineteen Sardaukar at once in battle, are memories of the past. As of right now, Duncan Idaho his hardest battle will be his contract negotiations for his contract with the Moscow Menace. The GM Spartan was hard to bargain with, mostly so as Idaho's initial offer was a bit unrealistic. Next to his base salary, he wanted bonusses for up to 7 million a season and an authentic NASA replica of the Discovery. Nothing out of the ordinary you would say, i mean, how much can a replica even cost, it doesn't actually have to fly to space. But instead, Spartan offered league minimum and whatever bonus I wanted within reason, so Idaho in return ofcourse had to counter. This time he tried to go for a Grave Digger Monster Truck replica, atleast something smaller as a space shuttle right? Still, Spartan wouldn't go for it and Idaho ended up checking with Atreides how he felt. He also wanted to stay and suggest three or four years with an option. In the end, Spartan has won the battle, Idaho accepted the offer of league minimum and bonusses within reason the upcoming seasons (which will be used for an uncapped tpe package). Duncan Idaho disagrees after seeing his sophomore stats

Duncan Idaho and his sophomore slump Not many weeks ago, Duncan Idaho still had hopes on a decent sophomore season, but it seemed he just wasn’t focussed on his play on the ice. Many of the Moscow fans wondered what suddenly happened to him. He started the season on fire, being almost 1.5 point per game at a certain timeframe, but in the end, he scored as much points as he did in his rookie year. Numbers that probably wouldn’t even win him rookie of the year honors had he been one this season. So what is the reason behind his sloppy play? The general manager of the Moscow Menace, just couldn’t seem to figure it out. But as it turned out, Idaho wasn’t just busy playing hockey, in his spare time he actually was making a movie, and as a guy doing his own stunts, he came back a bit knackered at times, explaining why his game just hasn’t been up to par. The worst part is, he wasn’t the only player in the same movie, as @Mr_Hatter Paul Atreides, actually plays the main part in this so called Dune movie. Sources say the Menace are not happy with their actions and they hope that they will focus on hockey once again next season, as the Menace depend on them to take further steps towards the top.
