You're way too confident. It will bee more satisfying to beat USA in the finals one more time

Chill bro, Team World did nothing to you

1. The Lynx almost completed one of the best comebacks in VHLM history, how would we have celebrated? He would have booked the whole strip club and spent most of our earned money on some cool drinks and chicks. 2. How did the team react after the goal in the SIXTH overtime period? I was too exhausted to see anything on another end of the rink. 3. Whats next for you? I am currently considering what my next move is. Trunov is eligible to be called up but he could also stay in M. 4. How was your experience playing with Ottawa this season? Absolutely tremendous. It's been ups and downs, nevertheless I'm impressed. 5. Do you believe that getting rid of the VHLE was positive choice? At least, we see it had a huge impact on M league. But it's too early to state the fact it's a positive choice. 6. Could we ever see a third league again? There shouldn't be a hesitation. But it depends on league activity. I'd rather have 2 fulfilled leagues.

Say no more. I am drafting you!

As some of you might have noticed, Arcane hype train is still a thing. Hello Spartan! And I am pretty sure once you opened Spotify chart, you saw this lovely soundtrack climbing up and passing Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and other music giants. If you didn't, listen to it now! But obviously, this article isn't about music or my Arcane reviews. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO BUILD SOMETHING NEW I stepped in DC Dragons with exactly the same thought. And so far, I've been strongly confident about how the team is going through the rebuild. My first season as a GM is coming to its logical end now. I have no idea how team ended up playing with 3 roster players in S95, nevertheless, I would never think of ever becoming in charge of VHL franchise in such an exhausted condition. "Enjoy 2.5 years of rebuild" was a fair point from one of my vhl community mate but I took that challenge and there are a few thoughts how it's been and how it will be in my opinion. Actually, there are not a lot of changes between S95 and S96. According to the standings and statistics Dragons were even worse in: points percentage (P%): .250 vs .271, goals against (GA): 280 vs 273. Don't get me wrong, I expect Dragons to be at the basement for a few seasons to collect enough good future assets. With this season being almost over for the whole league, it's now pretty clear which picks from the previous draft were definitely good and a complete waste. It wouldn't be exaggeration to say that YOURE NOT FUCKING RETIRING @twists was the gem that nobody saw or didn't want it to be seen. He was projected top-10 pick but due to some invisible reasons fell off into my hands. With 18th overall selection, YNFR got drafted by DC Dragons. At this moment, he is top-5 player ranking by TPE scale. Is it a daylight robbery? It is, but do not call the police. They won't help you. Talking about first round pick, I am glad that I didn't trade down as most GMs wanted to get my 3rd overall pick. Brandon Petan Jr @sadie spent 2 full seasons in VHLM: 178 points in 163 games. No matter what happens, Brandon will be a key player and true leader on and off the ice. This forward duo that will join us in the offseason will be awesome fit to Konstantyn Shevchenko. These days drafts are tempting to be tight, 2nd round picks are frequently useless and taking 2 great forwards on the same draft is a luxury that most teams can't afford. This regular season was extremely successful for Dragons prospects and here are some examples: YOURE NOT FUCKING RETIRING - leads the league in points (96), goals (48), plus/minus (45!), and hat tricks (4). T-5 in powerplay goals (12), T-7 in game winners (8). I strongly believe, he is gonna win Mitch Higgins Trophy(MVP) apart from reserved (and well-deserved!) Ethan Osborne and Alex Chershenko awards. Brandon Petan Jr - T-8 in points (78), T-2 in goals (40), the most shooting player (385), leads the league in shorthanded goals (2), T-2 in game winners (10). Einar Mathiesen @xsjack - leads the league in assists (60), points among defencemen (87), T-3 in +/- (32), T-3 in powerplay goals (13). With this bunch of cool guys there are a few that haven't been ahead of the VHLM but it doesn't mean I won't get use of them. Recently acquired Masa Akimoto @Hokikeijot from Davos is 395 TPE at the moment. And as consistent welfare player, he will step in with 420-430 TPE next season. Scrungle Bungle @Novanod is going to set the sight of his retirement soon, luckily, we finally see 21st overall of S91 draft making the VHL roster. And they definitely will be useful parts of rebuilding franchise. More than that, DC Dragons have some active prospects that are potentially roster players as they hit minimum TPE floor, but it is too early to say which team they will start play next season for. Draft picks in our hands: S97 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd S98 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd We are in the position where only moving crucial pieces will bring us some good future assets. However, 5 roster players is the thing which gives you two options: be shit so hard and trade everyone or keep someone alive in the locker room as you don't want it to be a graveyard franchise. I chose the second one and despite some pessimistic expectations, team was pretty alive and with at least 3 prospects arriving in the roster it is going to be even better. Predicting VSN pre-draft rankings and picks for each 1st round pick, I'd say that I really love this draft and there are plenty of opportunities out there. Having a pick in top-10 is a guaranteed top player, reflecting to the previous VHL Draft there were a few bad picks that were not worth its position, but I am not going to hurt GMs' and players' feelings. I would love to believe that these picks make me wrong one day. Being tremendously sentimental, I am into drafting some guys that are supposed to play together: Bubbles duo and newcomers - @flyersfan345 and @SMYLS4. Both options seem reasonable of course, but it depends on your pick. With 4th overall, I doubt I will go for projected 9th / 10th player selection without a specific goal. No offense. If I were LA, damn, that would be hard choice. They have 6th and 9th overall picks, which mean they have miserable chances to draft Bubbles brothers, nevertheless, I definitely agree that they are interested to get two irl friends that let managers know how excited they would be to make a VHL debut together. In fact, going for them means leaving a few proven users behind which are also more consistent and skilled in terms of TPE. Luckily for New York Americans, they have got 2nd (original LA's 1st round pick) and 10th overall picks. Being a contender with top-3 pick on the draft provides a lot of opportunities to get better right now with a proven or promising key player on entry-level contract or draft franchise guy who will step in a season. Both ways are great, and I am sure STZ would love to trade with LA often in the future. As I mentioned earlier, there are a few guys from top-10 VHL S96 Draft I don't consider future key players, in comparison, I strongly believe every top-10 pick of S97 will have a huge impact on its team. I would recommend you make up your own VHL Mock draft and share it with us. There are definitely a lot of shadow things going on behind the scenes right now that we can't see but I assure you this draft will take his place in history. I am not still sure about this offseason trades and moves, as it could be completely a hurricane and a change of scenery for some roster players. Konstantyn Shevchenko @der meister is the most valuable asset and more than that, he is the face of our franchise right now. The guy who is supposed to make DC Dragons great again and lead us in a few seasons in the playoffs surrounded by YNFR, Brandon Petan Jr and other high-end prospects. Since the first day of being a GM, I have been asked what the price is for Shevchenko. And that is the question I ask myself. It is always hard to trade your beloved players, that were with you from the start, however seasons go, team changes and one day I will have to trade my best players, awesome locker room guys and probably my player as well as I am in charge of a franchise, and I understand keeping veterans till the end means digging the team deeper and deeper. I feel that hard choices are coming, even though I can't complain about that at all. I joined VHL with the willingness to be a GM one day, I made it happen and now I am among the top tier GMs. I won Victory Cup as a player and a captain, won back-to-back WJC and World Cup gold medals as a GM, and now it is the time to raise new generation of VHL winners. I declined around a dozen of offers on Shevchenko but none of these were really worth moving my best player. On the other hand, I have never had an idea of trading him in the middle of the season. And with upcoming offseason, I am wondering what it the best way to make team future brighter. Unfortunately, 1 top pick per draft is not enough for such a huge rebuild I have to deal with. At least, I suppose I'd love to get another first round. Surely, feeling the momentum that says it's time to move on and rebuild smoothly or trade your favourite player for more future assets is the experience I will go through, and I hope I will succeed; this article has to be a reminder to myself that sometimes... ...TAKING A LEAP FORWARD MEANS LEAVING A FEW THINGS BEHIND. ~1550 words

1. How badly are we going to BEAT the other teams in these playoffs? Well, it's 2-2 from now. And I can't say that we beat opponent . We dominate for sure but it was not enough to close the series fast. 2. How did you feel about your players performance this season? Tremendous start, awful mid-season and good finish of the regular season. Overall, it's just nice. No more, no less. 3. How did you feel about the team in general? Absolutely the same as me. We should've been better but hockey gods were not on our side sometimes. Thats ok, we'll succeed in playoffs 4. What is one thing you would change about this season? I'd make Trunov play like god and break league SV% and GAA records. It seemed possible after 20 games , but dreams kept being dreams 5. When do you think first real snowfall will happen? Or has it already? It's been snowing for the last two days and it's cool. I loge changes of scenery and winter vibe hit me already. 6. Whats your favourite season? Winter. New Year, my birthday. The coolest days of my life.

2/2 claim for 24/11

1. Did you expect the team to make a trade? That was a rumor that I trusted. We are one of the best team in the league and chasing the cup obviously requires some moves to be better. 2. How do you think the acquisition of Sarkanis will affect the team? I witnessed his great VHLE debut season and I'm pretty happy we got him. He is awesome two-way winger and super effective along the ice. 3. How did your player welcome Sarkanis to the team? I bought him a ticket to the theatre. We are professionals and are lack of some cool and uncommon activities and hobbies. Hopefully, it will appeal to him and he'll buy a season pass in front of the stage. It is a great way to relax and wash your mind after tough loses. 4. Should the Ottawa Lynx get a mascot? What would we name it? I thought we already had one! Nevertheless, we are cool enough to have two! I'd create female mascot "Alena". 5. Whats a rule you wish you could add to the VHL? Delete restricted zone for goalies. Let them play everywhere. 6. How excited are you for us to get to playoffs in a few weeks? We are actually. But it is just a one step and we are going for the cup.
-
iirc you have had one, at least I strongly believe so

Would be cool if you counted the difference between consistent 10 season donator (max donates ceiling) and average user

1. How did your player celebrate Halloween? I practiced hard while everyone was celebrating. That's my kind of celebration. 2. Whats the best candy? Mom's cookies. Or something else that is sweet and made with all the love. 3. Grape offered you trick or treat and you chose trick. What did he do to/give you? Retire my jersey as I am already the greatest goalie who played for Ottawa! 4. What was the cause of the Lynx's cold streak? Actually, it was my fault. I feel that I underperformed last week and to be honest it is like an evil surprise to me as well. We'll be back soon 5. Are we back? Or are we going to struggle again? Not yet. Trust the process! As soon as Trunov hit 303 tpe, bet your house on Ottawa winning the playoffs this tear 6. Who are you voting for in the upcoming election? (Baozi vs Fresco 2) MY candidate is Rory! I don't see anyone but him

Team World By the S94, it's been 24 seasons since Team World has won World Cup gold medals. Newly hired World Cup commissioner Rory was under the pressure as hockey community asked for drill, intrigue and emotions! Team World was incredibly successful in S60 - S70 span: 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and one bronze medal. 6 straight semifinals. Always on the podium. But dark times have come. Since S72 they have made the finals once but lost it. And won bronze medals in S80. And we can't say Team World was just unlucky due to weak generation. Reylynn Reinhart, Asher Reinhart and Zeedayno Chara were VHL super stars but couldn't succeed with the team. And then Team World disappeared from contender list. Season 94 almost ended , international tournaments were about to start. Glorious General Manager qripll started his international GM career with Team Europe in S88. It is safe to say that it was a great team to start your path with. They won the WJC back-to-back in S85 and S86 and lost the finals in S87. Despite qripll had a great group of young and promising players, fans expectations were high because they wanted to step on the first place again and take the crown. He made his best to get the chemistry on high level. And built the system around key players. Hard pressure along the rink, high tempo, forecheck and full focus on attack. qripll won gold medals and was hired GM next season to repeat the success. He won back-to-back World Junior Championship (S88, S89). After that, he started looking for a new challenge. S94 GM selections One week before first games Rory announced International General Managers. Canada - Dadam30 USA - Spartan Western Europe - LucyXpher Eastern Europe - FrostBeard Nordic - doomsday World - qripll It wouldn't be exaggeration to say that qripll was in a tough spot. Team World were not considered contenders. And he had to handle with more experienced and skilled GMs. However, qripll made the roster that ideally fits his strategic and started working with it. Group stage results weren't that bad as critics expected. However, hockey fans all over the globe could see the definition and rise of qripll's hockey. In Round Robin , Team World faced the best team of the group — Team USA — and absolutely demolished them. USA goalie had to face 42 shots in the first periods! Team World players were incredibly fast and basically better at everything. That was the main reason why World had 14 power plays. Everyone knew - Team World was getting better with every game and by the finals they would be unstoppable. The question was — who could stop them? qripll and company finished 3rd in the group with 5 - 3 - 2 stats. They were going to face Team Eastern Europe in the quarter-finals. Long texts ahead. Yaroslav Trunov almost buried Team World dreams. Russian forward did his best to help his team and scored a hat trick. Unfortunately, it was not enough to beat Team World. 5-3. In the semifinals, Team Nordic was waiting for his opponent. They finished Round Robin 2nd with the best goals difference. However, Lachlan Summers had his own plans on this matchup. Team Nordic overplayed and Team World with 50 shotson goal. As a result, tremendous goalie performance from Captain Lachlan made the whole crown speechless. He ended the game with .98 SV% and only Jarmo Ruutu could score in the 3rd period. But it was too late. 4-1. The finals In the finals qripll had to fight with one of the best VHL general manager who was in the lead of Team USA — Spartan. New school vs old school. Fans were thrilled and hyped. For the first time in many years, Team World were so close to the World Cup. The game was chaotic and impressively active. Both teams put a lot of efforts in the offensive zones and USA scored first, but 8 minutes later Assistant Captain Grimgor Ironhide scored his 2nd goal in the playoffs. In the second period, USA took the lead after Rip Wheeler's goal and fans all over the world were wondering "Will qripll find right words in the locker room?", "what will he do to tie the game?". At 2:12 Axle Gunner scored beautiful one timer with the pass from Thor Reingaard. 2-2. Best players on the world were fighting for their names on the cup. Team World were extremely energised, but couldn't convert their efforts into a cup winning goal. One second before the whistle, Grimgor Ironhide had a shot attempt. Fans stood up but Olober Syko stopped the luck with a rebound. Regulars finished 2-2. Team World led in shots but it was just a result of their active and aggressive style. "It's coming globe!" The crowd's chanting. To be honest, USA deserved to win overtime. Due to high activity, Team World players were exhausted and it was not a good sign. USA finally took the advantage and started playing more aggressive in offensive zone and especially in front of the net. 12 shots against 5 ones from World in overtime. At 12:40 Walter Fitzroy Jr, the player who was in a shadow of his teammates, moved puck in Team USA zone and shot. The puck was stopped by Olober Syko but it was retrieved by Phillip Rave for Team World. Another shot by Phillip Rave. Deflect By Severus Targaryen. Severus Targaryen scores his the most significant goal. It's the moment, when fans all over the world came on the streets and celebrated the victory. Walter Fitzroy Jr, who had the least points along Team World roster started the attack that brought the team gold medals. qripll were confident about every player he invited and players were confident about his game style. They were not afraid of losing. After 24 seasons draught, Team World is World Cup Champions. This lore is not only about my success as a general manager. It is also about history I've made with this group of people. @rory, @kirbithan, @hylands , @Zetterberg, @Baozi, @Steve, @Moon, @N0HBDY, @Banackock, @Velevra, @FrostBeard, @tcookie. And as I caught a chance , I would love to thank everyone who is related to this unbelievable run. Everyone had a huge impact on the team and I wish everyone to feel the same emotions! And yes, so far I have had a 100% win rate on international tournaments. Would love to see whether anyone reached the same results as a GM with minimum 3 tournaments played.
