  1. I love this sig, its super clean, and there are no obvious things that need to be tweaked or fixed. The choice of render is great and looks intimidating and the font is elegant and works well with the overall theme. I love the purple colouring the the slight motion blur on the render. The Davos logo is seamlessly added on the jersey and looks whole with the image. Overall, 10/10 for sure. This graphic is perfect!
  2. This logo is sick. The old Reign logo wasn't necessarily bad, but this one is definitely an improvement. The colours are the same, but the lion is definitely impactful. The font choice is great and really ties in with the look of the logo. Only thing i would say is i agree with some of the other comments, i think the logo needs the addition of a crown to really bring in the "Reign" aspect. Overall, 9/10
  3. 1. The team is coming off a poor performance last season, but we have more depth in the roster this year and im expecting a playoff run! 2. I just want to play the best I can. Team goals are more important to me than personal ones so im really pushing for a playoff run. Goaltender of the year would just be a happy bonus! haha 3. Im expecting to continue on an upward trajectory, improving on last season. 4. I think our biggest rival this season will be Mississauga. We really struggled against them last season and i think this season were out for redemption. 5. I think our captain should be Kaprikov, hes been consistent in the discord hyping the guys up before big games and hes always shown the the team comes first. 6. Its been a real struggle, its tough being isolated for so long, and here in Canada, especially Ontario, its been much stricter compared to other parts of the world making it impossible to really enjoy the day-to-day goings on of life.
  4. What the Future holds for Bastian Greiss Intro Bastian Greiss came fresh into the league around the half way mark of season 77. After being picked up by the Mexico City Kings, Greiss went on to play 39 games. While the Kings didn’t make the playoffs, Greiss finished the season with an impressive ,892 save percentage and 3.55 goals against average accompanied by 2 shutouts. While Bastian didn’t have much luck win-wise, he finished the season among the top 10 goalies in the league and created quite a buzz for himself going into the VHL and VHLM drafts. Drafts Going into the draft, Bastian Greiss was said to be one of the top 3 goalies to go first in the draft, most likely in the first round. In the leagues official mock draft, Bastian was listed to go 14th overall in the VHL draft to the Warsaw Predators. But in the days leading to the draft, many, assumed he would actually go a little but higher than that and have a shot at going to a different team. During the week before the draft, Bastian Greiss sat down to many interviews by both VHL and VHLM teams, and while he wasn’t set in where we wanted to go, he was happy to be receiving so much attention. The first draft to come was the VHL draft which saw many great players being picked off by some of the top teams, and finally, with the 12th pick in the first round, London United picked Bastian, 2 spots above what the mock draft had predicted. London finished 2nd overall in the regular season last year right behind the Warsaw Predators giving Bastian Greiss a great potential in the near future. London already has a strong goaltender tandem between Jacob Tonn, and Kloxified, but with Tonn retiring at the end of this season, its gives Bastian Greiss and fellow goaltending prospect Dexter Vaughn a great opportunity to compete to fill the empty space in the London roster. After the VHL draft, came the VHLM dispersal draft where Bastian was hoping to end back in Mexico City where he had grown accustom to the life and team management. With the 6th overall pick the draft, Mexico City picked Greiss as their first pick of the draft sending Greiss back home to Mexico City. Mexico City didn’t do well last season, but with a bigger and better roster this year, they are hoping to make a run for playoffs with Bastian Griess front-and-center in the starting goaltender role. Season 78 so far… Season 78 is off to a good start with 11 games already completed. As for Mexico City and Bastian Greiss, Mexico City has only won 3/10 of their games played slotting them in at 8th out of the 12 VHLM teams with Halifax dominating the league with an impressive 11-0-0 record so far. As for Bastian Greiss, it has been a decent start to the season with a 8.88 save percentage and 4.33 Goals against average. While Mexico City is once again struggling, we expect great things from Bastian Greiss as he plays his final season in the VHLM.
  5. S1 It wasn't a bad season surprisingly, you hear about rookies coming into the league late, barely ranking any half decent stats up. so no one really expects much from late entry rookies. But somehow, with a lot of hard work, i managed to make a name for myself in less than half-a-season. After half a season, i finished with a 8.92 save % shooting m up to 6th overall in VHLM goaltenders, and while we didn't qualify for playoffs, Im still happy with what I've been able to accomplish. Now, since the offseason has begun, over 10 teams, between the VHL and VHLM have reached out to me with draft interviews looking to possibly pick me up for this upcoming season. But after all is said and done, i think my greatest achievement this season has been getting drafted to Team Asia for the WJC. This is a great opportunity to play with some higher ranking players and show everyone league wide what i have to offer, and show everyone that I"m ready to play and can battle it out with the top guns. This next season is shaping up to be a big one, and i cant wait to get it started tomorrow with the draft!!!
  6. Love this graphic! Render choice is badass, colour pallet is complimentary, and the background effects look fresh. Love everything about the font, especially the glowing effect, really makes it stand out. Overall this graphic is super clean. No complaints from me haha. solid 10/10!!
  7. I dont wanna sound biased coming from a team Asia player lol, but this graphic is sick.....but did we really expect anything else from you? As per usual, layers go together perfectly, renders were thoughtfully chosen, font and logo are sick, and your still the only player i know that can make the logos look like there actually part of the jersey. As per usual, 100/10 haha
  8. Press Conference 1. The draft is Tomorrow! Who are you expecting to go first overall? Where do you expect yourself to go? 2. How has your VHL experience been so far? What have you enjoyed the most? What have you disliked the most? 3. This is your last chance to give teams an idea of who your player is before the draft! What is one thing you want GMs out there to know about your players strengths and weaknesses? 4. What have you been up to this off-season? Any cool and exciting stories to share? 5. Whats your players main goal for this upcoming season? 6. What is the number one thing you look for when you join a new team? @Yolo @Advantage @Shane Laz @DrummerBoy15 @McKelvie @Darth Kaprizov @duckberg32 @v.2
  9. https://ibb.co/w4LVZq3 not the greatest, but i enjoyed making it haha
  10. Review: You know what, i really like this. I havent seen this kind of creativity much. The idea of using a signed cheque for a signing announcement is pretty cool. Love the render and the pasted Phantoms logo. Overall, this isnt too complicated and looks nice and clean. 10/10
  11. Review: Overall its not bad, the graphic you chose works with the written story below pretty well and definetely drives the narrative home. The Helsinki Logo looks good on the jets jersey. But overall, there wasnt much effort put into this graphic outside of the 1 logo. Next time id say try to change the preds logo and maybe add some effect or something else to liven it up a bit. 6/10
  12. 1. With the off-season ongoing, are you looking forward to next year? Im just looking forward to the draft. Im getting antsy waiting to hit the ice, so im just excited to get going again. 2. What kind of goals have you set out for next year? I want to be at the top of the VHLM, ive been solid with TPE earning, i want it to get me to a "goalie of the year" trophy. 3. What was your favourite place to hang out in Mexico City? definitely the beach, i couldnt get away from the sand, no better place to unwind after a game or a road trip, plus, there was a margarita truck on the beach on saturdays. 4. Thoughts on the new logo? Definetely better than the last one, maybe it could be better in some areas, but overall its a huge improvement. 5. Where do you think you'll go in your draft(s) this off-season? Ive had alot of teams reach out to me for interviews, im really hoping for first or second round. 6. Who is taking the Playoffs? I answered this late, but Miami definetely deserved the cup, they were a strong team all season long, and it paid off.
  13. Press Conference 1. Now that our season has officially ended, describe your overall experience with the kings (what you liked and disliked) 2. Even though we didn’t make playoffs, we still get to watch. Who do you think is gonna take it all? 3. Who do you feel has been the most improved player on our team? What did they improve? 4. What are your plans for the offseason? 5. Do you plan on staying in the VHLM or are you heading to the big league? Where are you hoping to go? 6. What is one thing you would recommend to new players joining the league in your specific position? @Yolo @Advantage @Shane Laz @DrummerBoy15 @McKelvie @Darth Kaprizov @duckberg32 @v.2
  14. Jonas Schweisteigier retires!? For anyone who hasn’t already noticed, Jonas Schweisteiger, Mexico Cities up and coming defender, has retired suddenly. Jonas was a new addition to Mexico City in the last half of the season, but right from the start, he was absolutely unstoppable! In just 15 games, Jonas had managed to rake up 21 assists, 29 hits and 27 blocked shots. No one thought he would find his legs until the following season, but he proved everyone wrong and quickly caught the eye of GM’s across the league. It wasn’t a complete shock seeing Schweinsteiger retire; in the final game of the season, he went down after taking a shot off the knee. It took a total of 30 minutes and a stretcher to get him off the ice. A lot of speculation ensued on whether or not he would be ready for the next season, but after catching up with Jonas in the hospital earlier this week, he had this to say “you know, it was a scary experience, only playing a handful of games in the league and now I’m lying face down on the ice in screaming pain. It was rough. Thinking “what if I can’t play? What if this is my last game?” but after talking to the doc, my worst fear was confirmed, my knee was shattered and while I will eventually recover, the doctor said I’ll never be able to regain the full range of movement in my knee needed to be effective on the ice. So that’s it for me, 15 games and I’m out for life” While this may be Jonas’s last time on the ice playing competitively, he’s hopeful he can still remain in the game somewhere as a coach, giving back to this generations youth.
  15. This sig bar is pretty cool. Love the idea of having a personal bar for your GM. for the most part, it was pre-made with the reapers bar, but i still like the idea. Main thing i would change is either make the render brighter, or find a way to make it look more blended with the bar. 8/10
  16. I like this sig, in this league you either have simple or complex sigs that have lots of layers and elements. I like both, but theres always a cleaness to the simple ones. I like the choice of render and the fading around him. The font is cool and i like how the last name is more prominent. only thing id change is maybe an addition of another element to spice it up. Nothing fancy, just something else. 9/10!
  17. 1. charaZardd7 (Jonas Schweinsteiger) @CharaZardd7
  18. I mean, i may be alittle biased cause its me, but this graphic is seriously sick! I know you put alot of effort into your graphics an it clearly pays off. Love the multiple layers blended into one smooth image. Fonts pretty sick too! great work! easy 10/10
  19. Hey! Great idea making an alternative rulebook! seems like you put a lot of thought into the content and organization of the article. Definitely agree with making AGM a paid job, the do work too! solid 10/10
  20. PRESS CONFERENCE 1. With the VHL draft nearing, what round/pick do you think your player will go? 2. Now that the season is coming to a close, what do you think your players greatest strength has been? 3. Where has your player improved the most since the beginning of the season? 4. What has been your fondest memory of your time with the Kings organization? 5. Do you feel your player is ready for the VHL? Explain in one or more sentences. 6. What is one thing you plan on working on with your player during the off-season to get him/her in shape for next season? @Yolo @Advantage @Shane Laz @DrummerBoy15 @McKelvie @Darth Kaprizov @duckberg32 @CharaZardd7 @v.2
  21. That’s f***ing sick!
  22. Overview Despite the on-going lacklustre performance by the Mexico City Kings, there is no doubt that Bastian Greiss is destined for greatness. Previous to the addition of Bastian Greiss to the Kings roster, the kings had only managed to procure 2 wins; since Greiss’s addition the Kings have managed to put up another 11 wins. While Greiss is still new to the league, he has managed to find his footing quick. He is currently being interviewed by VHL teams pre-draft and everyone’s eyes are on him as the 2nd highest goalie in the current pre-draft rankings. Greiss has been continuously been improving since his first VHLM game and shows no sign of slowing down. Pros: • Greiss has been extremely punctual on his TPE earning • Greiss has a strong capability of bouncing back after tough games. His consistency has been strong showing that he does not easily fall into a slump • Greiss is currently in the top 10 goaltenders in the league in save percentage ranking 5th • Griess is an outstanding team leader, he frequents the locker room conversation and always has an inspirational quote or message ready to amp up the team • Greiss has taken on a team management role in his first season showing great leadership and teamwork skills • Greiss is a lateral genius, he has demonstrated above average crease play and is always quick to the rebound. Cons: • Greiss doesn’t like to sit back and take a beating from players that get too close, shown through his double minor penalty for slashing • Greiss still has a lot of work to do on his aggressiveness when coming out of the net to play the puck, he tends to stay in the net and chose a safer option • Griess also needs to put in some more work on his skating ability, he isn’t a quick skater, and is often too slow to the bench on delayed penalties • Finally, Griess isn’t known for his 1on1 ability. He hasn’t faced many breakaway or penalty shots yet, but when he does, he often gets flustered and over-commits to a save which ultimately makes it easier for players to deke around him While Bastian Griess still has a lot of work to do to get to the top of his game, there is no doubt that he would be a strong asset to any VHL team that would be willing to give this young rookie a shot.
