  5. So recently I came across the realization that the VHL Hall Of Fame tab on the Forum actually has a lot of information. I noticed a link for skater career stats and wanted to go through to see if I could recognize any recent names. To my not so surprised surprise, Aloe Dear was the first I could recognize with 784 career points at 33rd all time. Then I thought, holy shit Jerome Reinhart was just tearing up the league recently, they can probably rank pretty high as well! BUT!!!!! I remember they changed positions to defenseman, whyyyyy @MexicanCow123 are you breaking my heart like that. I mean to be fair with the new attributes you can't predict your player to continue being a god but let me show you the stats. So Jerome Reinhart is a S79 player, from S79-S82 (4/8 seasons), Reinhart collected 459 points in 288 games. To do the easy math, that is literally half of their career since you are only allowed 8 seasons in the VHL. Well if you then multiply Reinhart's point total by 2, you would get a whole career total of 918 points. That would put Reinhart at THIRD ALL TIME IN POINTS. Absolute heart break. Okay but what now? Reinhart has 96 points in 68 games this season. So if you divide points by games, you can see their PPG average, which is 1.41. SO NOW - Let's take the remaining games of their career (4 games this season plus 216 for the next three seasons) and multiply that number by their PPG this season since they have a new build and new position, we gotta go off this season. So 220 x 1.41 is 310.2. 310 + 459 = 769. 769 points will tie for 37th all time. Not as impressive as 3rd overall, but still pretty damn impressive. I would be shocked if Reinhart does not make the Top 50 all time.

  7. Pretty crazy to think about this actually. If I never hired @MubbleFubbles I probably wouldn't have seen your Clue Glue work, and might not have really gotten to know you.
  8. Hello everyone. I feel like I do not have any super close connections in the VHL, so no one I can pick out like a best friend and start the compliment train. But I do have a lot of people who have made an impact on my VHL experience and I wanted to shout them out to know they mean something lol. Firstly @dlamb is 100% the main reason I got addicted to the VHL and love this forum. Dlamb was my first GM in Ottawa when I joined the league late in S78. I was a first gen with a lot of energy and questions about the league, and Dlamb was always there with help and guidance. He was also my first employer in the VHL! After S78, he was promoted to Warsaw GM and I followed as his AGM. We would talk a lot and we had a good time together for that short spurt before I was announced GM in Las Vegas. I really do appreciate Dlamb and everything he did for me (even if he does not think he did much). So thank you sir, you will always have a huge impact on my VHL experience. @MubbleFubbles @Shindigs The secret council members!! When I got the GM gig in Las Vegas I was determined to solo mission it and did not want any help. Well, work schedule got busy and I was needing an AGM to help me draft. Mubble joined the league and took off like a rocket, I noticed this instantly and got him on my squad. He did so much work behind the scenes to help make the S81 Aces a Founder's Cup Finalist squad. I have to give a lot of props to him, and was also really fun chatting and getting to know him. He also took over as GM when I had my little affair with the VHL mods, so thank you for keeping Vegas alive. Shindigs on the other hand, an absolute LR demon! Mubble had been seeing a lot of love from Shin for his Board Game Clue On Skates graphics and media spots. We thought shin was a funny guy and wanted to get to know him better so we invited him to the Vegas LR. The guy was very talkative and we loved it. The three of us would type our fingers away and made Vegas seem like it was actually active. I am so happy Shin is the new Vegas GM after myself and Mubble because he is doing a fantastic job. Love you guys, I am super thankful I got to work with you in Vegas. @rory I do have to give credit to the legend himself. When entering the S79 VHL Entry Draft, Rory saw my potential and would be eager to get my player. He didn't take me 1oa when they had the pick (bastards), but he did trade down to 5th for me and I had such a good time in Los Angeles. Rory was a great GM and we always had the good DMs going talking shit or just talking about anything honestly. Thanks for the good times in LA! @Banackock MY SAVIOUR! As Los Angeles was literally dying this off season, Bana manipulated IR in a good way and got my player on the Bears roster. I was pretty devoted to LA after my big contract signing, but since joining Seattle and the locker room of great people they have, I can call this place my VHL home. Everyone is amazing, the group we have is small and just us, and there is nothing but good stuff in that locker room. So thank you Bana and I guess all of the Seattle roster for taking me in. Last but not least, @Dil is getting some appreciation for hiring me as AGM for Vasteras after I know for a fact he believes that I am a hardcore multi user LOL. But dil is a really fun guy, he's quick witty which I like and just fun to talk to or joke with. I am having a great time in Vasteras' LR even though it is basically just the two of us, but still a good time! I also have to mention the grave you made for my Minecraft player when I just joined the league and we had that server. Big respects.
  9. Nah Chara is the goat of Seattle
  10. Or maybe we’re better under pressure and we’ll win the next 7
  11. That is right!!! I have been a part of the VHL for an entire year. I joined May 18th, 2021 while on summer break after my first year of university. During that time covid was still pretty weird, I did not know if I would be working or not, and I was just really bored. So I would play a lot of NHL21, I was liking HUT and would play with my buddies a lot. At night I would usually watch YouTube before bed and that is how I found the VHL. I watching an NHL21 HUT video when an ad popped up for the VHL. I was curious, did not have any sim league experience, and so I joined. I remember being scared to post online for TPE. I thought it would be weird and that people could see everything I am typing, and what if people I knew were on the forum and knew what I was up to. Well after a few days with dlamb as my player’s GM and being introduced to discord gen chat, that scared feeling changed. I was pumping forum content out my arse. I was even mad that I collected welfare the first week because I wanted that extra two TPE. Everything was new and exciting, I was having so much fun and I was becoming addicted to this forum. I would have my computer on constantly, refreshing the new content tab while chatting with new people on discord. I would also be in dlamb’s DMs 24/7 asking questions, trying to get to know the league better. Soon I was making connections, people started to know who I was, and everything was good. My player developed and I went 5th overall in the S79 VHL Entry Draft. I decided to spend an extra season in the VHLM though since back then the TPE cap was 250 and I was just under it. I went 1st overall in the VHLM draft and it kind of went to show that working hard on here was paying off. After my victory lap in the M, I was off to Los Angeles to play for Rory. It was a great couple of seasons there. During this time, I was exploring the GMing world. My first gig was Pro-AM, where of course I was hired the season they decided to discontinue it. So that was cool. I was AGMing for dlamb the entire time this was going on so it was not like I was hurting for a management position. I would keep applying for VHLM GM spots and got shut down during the boomer period where like 6 GMs got hired. It sucked a lot but I kept applying and down the road Las Vegas opened up. I was so excited and I actually got the job. Instantly went to work to make a deserted team into a contender. I actually did pretty damn good, and with help from Mubble as AGM, we turned a shitty broken team into a Founder’s Cup Finalist. We lost in the finals to Ottawa which is fair since they had a lot of depth and veteran players. But I was so proud of what we did. Then obviously for those who know, during that season halfway through I got a TPE ban and lost my job. This was the worst thing ever and I had no motivation for the site anymore. Feeling like you have everything taken away from you, it just really sucked. Being in a management position I easily got the worst of the punishments compared to others who did the same thing. But what can you do. I stayed quiet for a while and joined the SHL, was determined to be active there and start to forget about the VHL. But of course after about two months my energy for this forum sparked up again and I was posting like crazy, capping out every week and wanting to get back to where I was before the ban. Well now I am five months later. My player got traded to Seattle and the team is killing it, I got to 900 TPE, I helped out Vegas a bit (not really was just boosting locker room activity), I kind of got back into VSN but not completely, and I am now an AGM for Vasteras. So I mean the last year had a big up and a bigggggg down, but now I feel like I am going up again. I really want to GM in the VHLM again, so that will be my next goal. But anyways this past year has been a lot of fun. I am happy the VHL took my sim league virginity and I hope to be part of this community for a while.
  12. Please tell me your name is Fat Creepy Guy
  13. Just took a look at this and the list was longer than I remembered lol. I feel like if they started recording the stats now that would be fine, better than having none at all.
  14. I know the VHL teams have GM stats but I think it would be nice for the VHLE and VHLM to have them shown as well! There is a tab there already on each team’s portal page so is it just a lot of work or what?
  15. Well guys and gals, I have been getting into the weed more lately. I used to only drink and never smoke, but going to university and getting a house with roommates has changed that. I smoke like once or twice a week and it takes me 3 hits off a joint to get spacey high I love it. So anyways last night around midnight my roommates went to bed and I was bored so I rolled a j-bird and sat back comfy in the lazy boy chair watching trailer park boys. I got the munchies hard and the only thing I really wanted to eat was toast and nutella. So I get the bread, throw it in the toaster and 15 minutes of scrolling through tiktok goes by before I realize I never actually turned on the toaster. Probably the funniest thing realizing how stoned I was. I threw the bread in for real this time and went to watch TPB again. Watched a couple episodes then stumbled to bed and crashed hard. I woke up this morning to find some cold stale toast still sitting in my toaster. What a great night.

    Williams

Lately AJ Williams has been on fire and has been super consistent throughout the season. I am so happy with his performance and looking back at the SEA/LAS trade now, I am totally fine with it. Williams currently has 37 goals, 44 assists, and 81 points to lead the Bears in team scoring. It was Chara leading all season with Williams trailing behind but he finally passed him. Also Williams is T-6th in points, T-6th in goals, 2nd in shots, and 5th for powerplay goals in the league. Four great categories to be in the top 10 for. He is 4 points away from beating his season record of 85 points, but still has 19 games left to play. My only goal for my player is that he passes the 100 point mark and can continue dominating into the playoffs for Seattle. I am sure the team can go far and I am hoping Williams will be a main factor for that.
  18. Press Conference - Week Ending May 22 Answer 3 for 1 TPE or Answer 6 for 2 TPE Vasteras leads the VHLE by a wide margin, what has been the key behind this success? How has your player performed this season? What is one goal you want your player or the team to hit by the end of the season? Do you think Vasteras will win the cup this season? Who will be our competition? What is one place you want to travel to? If you could spend 15 minutes with anyone in the world, who would you choose?
  19. 1. Haven't watched a lot of games so far, did watch the Avs finish the sweep against Nashville last night though. Makar is so damn good 2. The ocean 100%. When I visited BC this past summer it was so amazing waking up to sunrises by the water, mountains surrounding. 3. My next goal in the VHL is to win any award. My player has played two seasons in the M and this is his 4th in the VHL, still no awards. Questions: 1. If you had the chance to meet any person in the whole world who would it be? 2. Are you a chocolate or candy person? What chocolate/candy is your favourite? 3. If you won the lottery what would you spend the money on?
  20. AJ Williams and the Bears are going through a small bump in the road this season after losing the last three games to bottom tier teams. Williams took matters into his own hands and got drunk last night in Vancouver since the team was staying the night. Many people noticed Williams walking the downtown streets of Vancouver with a double spiced rum and coke in hand, slurring his words and determined to hit as many strip joints as possible. One place took Williams in and sent him to the VIP section where he did some booger sugar with the workers and deposited $10,000 to the finest lady there for some secret time in the back room. 3am struck and Williams was carried out of the joint and found himself stumbling the roads with no one in sight except the local homeless people. The next morning Williams woke up in a random hotel room, wallet gone, watch and other jewelry stolen. A knock on the door lead to his coach running in and shouting at the top of his lungs, something a hungover bastard would love to hear in the morning. Williams was shipped back to Seattle on the team jet immediately and he spent the rest of the day puking his guts out while doing suicides for the team. Management fined him 25,000 for being a douchebag, and teammates, fans, everyone... were disappointed. But he did not really care because he makes 4 million a year to play puck and party basically.
  21. Hello everyone I am bored and wanted to look at stats. With my player being a right winger, I wanted to see where Williams and Petrenko on Seattle matchup against the rest of the league's right winger duos. None of this is opinion based. Here is how I will rank everyone: First line right winger and second line right winger on STHS lines will be included Some teams have right wingers who play on the left wing/center, they will not be included Some teams have more than 2 right wingers, only the RW1 and RW2 will be included I will be taking each stat from the portal stats and then the average of the two players I did not include GWG because you will see why with the next bulletin point Each team gets a certain amount of points based on how their wingers ranked, most points wins 1st gets 16 points, 2nd gets 15 points, etc. If two teams tie a stat, they will both be rewarded the same points (two 1sts places earn 16 points, 3rd place still earns 14) Okay so here we go Also here is a link to the spreadsheet with all the stats so you can see how I ranked everyone: Click me *Honestly the descriptions below suck because the spreadsheet took a while and I am tired now but read them if you want* 16th - Chicago 48 Points So if you take a look at my points totals you will see that Chicago did not score the worst, so you are probably wondering why they are 16th. The reason is they are dishonoring the right wing position by putting a BOT on the RW1. So disrespectful and disgusting. Poor Hadrian is on the depth chart behind a bot. So for this, Chicago gets dead last I do not care. 15th - Toronto 27 Points I am sorry to the Toronto right wingers but y'all are garbage. Dead last in points on the list and both players have the weakest stat line I have seen on a top 5 team in the league. RIP! Okay but to be fair both players are under 600 TPE and are S80 and S81. 14th - Los Angeles 46 Points Coming from Los Angeles being the RW1 there, it is sad to see them so low on the chart. But it makes sense since they are in rebuild mode. Their right wingers are young and have lots of developing to do. Even though LA sucks, this means they get a lot of shots against them, and these wingers apparently love to stand in front of these shots. LA right wingers took first place in shots blocked. 13th - HC 49 Points HC is last in league standings, they are 4th last on these standings, there is not much more to say. Both wingers under 500 TPA and not good. 12th - D.C. 56 Points The only reason D.C. is not last on this list is because Taylor Mourning is a stud and carrying them on the right wing. Mourning boosted all of the stats for D.C. but their RW2 is a weakling and 12th place is where they sit. These right wingers do know how to hit though and had the highest average between the two for hits. 11th - Riga 57 Points I was SHOCKED when I looked at Riga's lines and found Johnston and Miklavz no where to be found on the right wing!!! All year I have seen those two battle amongst each other for most points in the league thinking they were RW1 and RW2. Well apparently they are LW1 and C1 playing on the same line. Was a waste of talent, pathetic play Riga. Riga did score first for least penalty minutes though with the imposters they have playing, so GG I guess. 10th - Helsinki 60 Points I have a lot of love for Helstinki's right winger duo. Starting with Florida Man, Los Angeles alumni who I played with, and Nasherov who has the most goated YouTube NHL22 player name ever. Unfortunately their point total was pretty mid tier, but I still love them. 9th - New York 73 Points Like Mourning in D.C., Lamb carried the score here for New York. Lamb has performed very well his entire career starting from the VHLM, so it is no shock to see him competing in the VHL. If Lamb had a better RW2 on his team I feel like New York could have been at the top of these standings. 8th - Warsaw 74 Points I like Warsaw's right wingers. They are young and still developing, but are producing pretty decently. They have combined mid tier TPA, they scored a mid tier rank on this list, nothing bad I can say about this duo. 7th - Vancouver 76 Points Vancouver has two old dogs playing on the right wing so I have to respect their veteran presence. Besides that they are not that impressive. Nothing else to say. 6th - Prague 81 Points MY S79 BOYS ON THE PRAGUE PHANTOMS. Baby Bob is an absolute stud of a player and Baard is his second in command. These two are a great key to Prague's success this season. 5th - Malmo 82 Points Honestly was surprised to see Malmo ranked so high until I saw that animal's S77 player was on this team, then the surprisingness disappeared. Deathwalker carried this duo and that is that. 4th - Calgary 84 Points I have never payed attention to Calgary in my life and of course when I finally notice them is when Phil The Rock Johnson is in his final season. Lazeski is a good player as well, I got the chance to play with them my first season in Ottawa and they are a good person. TIED FOR 2ND - London 89 Points Ablar and Colors are the first good duo on this list in my opinion. They are both very solid wingers and have great builds. Ablar holds his own on the second line, leading London's forwards in points. Colors is obviously @McWolf 's player so this high ranking makes sense. TIED FOR 2ND - Seattle 89 Points Having Petrenko as a RW2 is a dream for my player. Knowing you have that support on the second line in case your player starts shitting the bed is amazing. Williams and Petrenko played together S79 for Mississauga in the M, so it is super cool to be on the same squad again. 1st - Moscow 105 Points It pains me to say it but @Spartan is the goat GM for having the best Right Winger Duo. Idaho is an absolute menace in the stat category and helped Moscow lead in goals, assists, points, and shooting %. They scored 2nd in +/- as well which is crazy to rank so high in 5/8 categories. Unkempt's player is also extremely solid and a great RW2. Claiming Week Ending May 8, May 15
