  2. 1. Yes I noticed I didn’t get my week doses of riddle. But now the Riddler is back and ready. I did a players conference instead. 2. Yes Nikita on defense is a great add and the new signing players are really going to help us make that push to the cup. 3. Because we are going to win the cup and maybe break some records. 4. I didn’t but I wish to go to Mexico one day to see how they celebrate it. 5. I’m not dressing up for Halloween and if I did I will be dress like... I don’t know. I didn’t think about it. 6. Euuuh a ghost
  3. Well well well another article and on this one it’s a mock draft but I want to do a special mock draft for the S81 VHL Draft coming up in a couple of weeks. I’m going to have a little section for each player to try to explain why he is the first pick and like a mini scouting report for each player so it’s going to be a long read. Put your seat belts on, maybe grab a snack here we go. In this mock draft I’m going to pretend like the lottery didn’t change a thing and I’m looking at the standings to this day 18/10/21 to see where each team finishes. It’s not ideal but it is what it is. 1. The first pick is Helsinki having the Toronto 1st pick Nico Pearce. @Spartan Nico Pearce the 6 foot 180 pounds who is playing like he is 6’5 and 220 pounds having 140 hits 331 shots 43 goals in them 7 games winning goals in only 52 games. In my book I call that a power forward more offensive minded. I feel like a player like this caliber with all the experience that spartan have with the league you can’t pass on him. 2. The second pick is also Helsinki but with their pick this time. I have them pick Hulk Hogan 2 @Hogan having 113 points 296 shots 100 hits 73 shots blocked and a +/- of 45 the best defenseman available in this draft. 6’8 and 250 pounds this big defenseman can do all on the ice block shots, hit, shoot and pass. He is Definitely going to help Helsinki in the future. Helsinki has a great prospect pool in every position. I have them pick one forward and one defenseman with their first two picks. 3. Seattle turned to pick with their first rounder. Harkat Mulds @hylands this center playing for Yukon in the VHLM. This small playmaker is ripping it off in the VHLM. 5’5 and 140 pounds with 110 points a +/- 81 295 shots. He is a well rounded player who is going to help Seattle in a couple of seasons. 4. The fourth pick Riga with their pick is selecting Wattson Power. @Tape-to-Tape I feel like Riga are going to pick a defenseman and Wattson Power should be the pick with Riga only having 1 defenseman prospect and defender current players. I feel like it’s the perfect match. 5. The fifth pick London with their first I have them surprise surprise Zaza Colors. @McWolf I was doing my mock draft and remembered that Mcwolf was the GM of London, with Vladimir and The Terrible Trivium retiring and ZaZa was available so 1+1=2. Zaza Colors with 101 points 271 shots 44 goals and a +/- 80. Offensive minded and ready to rumble. 6. The sixth pick went back to Helsinki with the LA first rounder picking Maximus Decimus Meridius. @Beaviss This warrior from Spain having 73 points, 252 shots and a +/- 52 is a good two way forward. But his speed needs some work. 7. The seventh pick Warsaw with their first picking Nezuko @tfong from the Minnesota Storm. Having a season of 87 points 286 shots and a +/- 40 is really offensive minded with his 92 scoring ability. Having elite players like Maximus is really good for Warsaw. 8. Now the eight pick Calgary with the New York pick selecting Biggie Cheese. @a_Ferk I feel like Calgary has a nice forward prospect and needs some defenseman prospect Biggie Cheese is perfect for that team. Who can be responsible in his zone and productive on the scoring sheets. Having 75 points 173 shots 70 shots blocked 63 hits in 53 games. 9. The ninth pick Riga with the Prague puck selecting Cameron Elsby. @Spence King He is a very tough defender to play against, he is not afraid to lay the body or to sacrifice his body to block shots. With a season of 53 games 56 points a +/- 32 157 shots 162 hits and 71 shots blocked. Adding another defenseman to this draft. 10. The tenth pick goes to Toronto having a good offense but a poor defense is going to pick Cadmael Ixazaluoh @Vice a player who has recently been created in the middle of the season he is quickly becoming a great defender for Philadelphia. Cadmael is a defensive defenseman who is really good at blocking shots. It's almost like his stick has an eye. Cadmael has 64 points, 74 hits and 104 shots blocked in 53 games played. 11. At the eleventh pick Riga with their final pick of the first round selecting Sirdsvaldis Miglaskems @FrostBeard , a well rounded player who is really responsible in his zone, one of the most defensive forwards in this draft class. Having a season of 46 points with a +/- 25 118 hits in 53 games played. 12. The twelfth pick I have Toronto picking Juha Jarvinen @Collusion with Toronto currently don’t having a goaltender and with prospect Oskar Lindbergh definitely being the starter for the next couples of season I have Jarvinen who is rapidly earning some experience in the VHLM and can be a solid backup to Lindbergh in the next couples of seasons in Toronto. 13. The thirteenth pick the last of Helsinki in the first round selecting Janet Snakehole @MattBake12 if feel like this s81 draft class is really deep in forward but not very in defenseman and even less in goalies so I think Helsinki are going to select a defenseman for a nice two forward two defenseman in the first round. Janet had a season in the VHLM of 42 points a +/- 25 102 hits and 54 shots blocked in 52 games. 14. The fourteenth pick in Moscow I have is Alexandre Leduc ( me) , a well rounded player who is learning the ropes in the VHLM with Yukon. Having a season of 60 points a +/- 51 185 shots in 51 games he is a good player with a lot of character in games. 15. The fifteen pick Warsaw and I have them picking Daniel Janser, @Daniel Janser a great player who is averaging one points per game with 56 in 53 games played, with 207 shots and 109 hits. Daniel is eager to learn and always wants to be better. 16. The sixteenth pick and the final for Seattle in the first round I have Robert Wilk @Tomat0 having 50 goals 95 points 285 shots 82 hits in 52 games. Robert is an offensive player who loves to shoot the puck in the offensive zone. Some shutouts to players who I think can maybe be in the first round if they continue their efforts to earn TPE Mason Jones @Masu Chan , William Groves, @Will3 George Sanderson @spicy_gecko , Yun Chiang @FireballSalad , Sergey Probrazhensky @Bulduray_1 , Ragnar Hagstrom @Grosgars and Tadhg Byrne. @teknonym Keep up the good work. Thank you to Gaiko @Gaikoku-hitofor the tips. 1115 words
  4. I like this type of article and I know you are kind a new to the league and I feel like you’re going to be a good goaltender in the future. The structure is well done and adding some colors really help the différenciation to the critical moment for you’re players. I love you’re character too it’s refreshing and interesting to read about. Keep it up and good luck in Ottawa for the rest of the season. 10/10
  5. I always love reading that series, sadly you didn’t mention the threes stats of the games but you add the little standing stats in the beginning so it’s equalize. Also nice little touch to add the scouting ranking and I think it will be a nice battle between our players for reaching the top 10 (mine is at 11) . I’m always looking for one of your media spot after the day and you always delivered. 10/10
  6. 1. I think defense, people who score goals are very appreciate by the fans but sometimes I think we forgot about the defense like a players block 6 shots on a game and it’s almost nothing. 2. Mmmh The Hard working trophy. 3. Zaza, Hogan 2 or karjalainen are all great picks to win it in the VHLM this year in the nhl I want Drouin to win it. 4. Hulk Hogan 2 is in the top for points and shots block so he can do all. 5. Thanksgiving I love turkey. 6. Hawaii call it like maybe the Hawaii Tikki or The Hawaii surfers.
  7. I am really interested by this job. I know I’m kinda new to the league but I want to do more for the league and this AGM job would be a good place to start. I’m a fast learner and is really available and active on the forum and discord. Hope to hear back form you .
  8. Hello and welcome back to a short article about new players who recently joined a team in the VHLM. This article is special, it’s about goalies only. We are going to break down the stats and see how they play in their respective teams. Lets begin!!! The first one is Juha Jarvinen, @Collusion a goalie who grew up in Finland. He signed with the Miami Marauders in 21 games played, 11 wins, 10 losts, a save percentage of 0.885, a goal against allowed par games of 3.85, Goals against 81 and a shots against of 703. Juha was struggling in his first couple of games with his new team but he recently started to play better. He is tall in his net and really quick on his gloves to save the puck. He is definitely hard to play against and I definitely see him stealing some games in the near future. The second goalie is Boris Tsezar. @comrade_boris This Russian goalie has signed with Halifax 21st, this goalie is 6 '3 and 190 pounds. In 18 games played his stats look like this: 9 wins, 8 losts, 1 loses in overtime, a save percentage of 0.897, a goals against average par game of 4,21, 77 goals against and 745 shots against. This goalie has a very good technique on its net. With great rebound control, quick hand speed and reflex reaction. He's definitely a huge part of Halifax's race for the playoff this season. These two are a bit of a rival when we talk about it. They are in 2 points difference in the standings and they have joined the league almost at the same time. I’m looking forward to who is going to finish on top in this fight. Thank you for reading and see you later!!! 296 words
  9. Review: I love the characters Sergey seems like a great dad and coach. This article is really well done all is well separate in paragraphs and I like the emphase with some part on the text. The picture it’s definitely a great bonus it’s pretty good love the stories and how Sergey wants to help other and succeed for that. 10/10 overall it’s a pretty much a perfect article.
  10. Review: Love the inside the mind series it’s refreshing. I like how it’s super easy to read and easy to see who is the interviewer and the person being interview. Only thing is the white on white text at the end I had a little difficult time trying to read that. It’s probably not much but it’s help the readers a lot. 9/10 In resume it’s easy to read (exciting the last part) and easy on the eyes too. I know people love to see a picture with the article so maybe a little picture to add in the next one is a idea. Love to read from you and looking forward for the next chapter of this series.
  11. Most of the time I talk about my players in the past or the present. This time We are going to look in the future and look at how Alexandre Leduc is going with his retirement. We are going to talk about the emptiness that Alexandre fought through with his retirement. His family and how he replaced this emptiness. First off, when Leduc retired during the first four month it was so peaceful he had all his time to do what he loved. Like swimming, takes some time with his family and friends. He likes to play with his son Felix Leduc who is very talented in hockey (when I recreated maybe ). He is trying to help his baby girl learn how to swim. Takes some quality times with his wife. The first time that they met was at games versus Ottawa where all his family was there to see him because it’s not a long ride from home. They met after the games at a friend's party and since then they are inseparable. But something happened that changed Leduc's life. Post-career depression, Leduc was feeling an emptiness and was trying so much to hide it that he finally cracked and exploded with all his emotions buried in him. He talks about it to his wife who really helps him talk about it and open up. Leduc was trying to find something he can do to replace this emptiness. When Felix arrived at a certain level at hockey, Quebec was looking for coach Alexandre applied and was accepted after some interview with the commissioner of the league. Coaching helps him a bunch to take his head out of depression. Finally being back in a locker room, but at a different position was familiar and weird at the same time. Alexandre was coaching his son Felix and his best friend Mathieu Giroux. Felix was the star center and Mathieu the star defenseman. These two had played together since they were four years old. So they always knew where the other one was on the ice. Coaching was more hard that Alexandre was thinking. At this level it’s more about all the players playing the same amount of time to help the young kids to grow to be better for the sports that they love. Dealing with Felix and Mathieu was easy because he already knew how to make them play better but coaching almost 20 players was like he adopted all those kids. His first two years of coaching it was almost like a teaching lesson Alexandre was trying to learn the ropes to be a great coach for his players. He already had a base while he was playing and teaching Felix and Mathieu some tricks that he knew about. But dealing with money for his team to buy some extra equipment like socks or a vest with the team logo on it was a challenge. At Least he was not alone doing that with the help of parents and his assistant coaches. His long journey continues for his goal to maybe return in the VHL but at a different position. To reach his goal to be a AGM or GM to a VHL team in the future. Let’s see how Alexandre Leduc's career in the VHL continues and how he develops. Thank you for reading and see you later. 562 Words
  12. Today's scouting report is about a Canadian player who is actively with the Yukon Rush in the VHLM. Alexandre Leduc is 5’10 and weighs 184 pounds. This retired water-polo player is a well rounded hockey player and a great prospect in the S81 VHL draft. Pro Hockey IQ: he has that sense where he is in a spot on the ice turn left and all the players turn right but the puck ends up on Leduc stick and is alone for a scoring opportunity. He has great vision with the puck and can analyse all his options and he makes quick decisions, all that in a split of a second. Speed: with his past of water-polo Leduc is fast on skating using his muscular legs for a quick acceleration. He can fly against a slower player for a loose puck or to make space for him or his teammates. Strength: Leduc is smaller than the majority of the other players in the league, but that doesn’t scare him. He is using his strength that he acquires playing water-polo to protect the puck while being hit or on an offensive play. It’s hard for another player to make him move or make him lose the puck. Character: Leduc's greatest ability, in my opinion, is his character. He is a gamer when the moment is very important. It's when he makes his best play or best hit. He loves to win and loves to make the difference in games if it’s a pass, goal or big hit if that play changes the momentum of the game it’s mission accomplished. Hard working: Leduc is maybe not the most talented guy on his team but he is one of the most hard working players that I have seen in a while. He is not afraid to take hits or to go for loose pucks, he is hard on forcheking too and trying to give the least times to the other team to make a counterattack. He always wants to be better for his team. You can find him a gym or on the ice when he has free time. CONS Physical: Leduc is strong and all, but his physical game is the worst part of his game. His hit happens mostly on the forechecking. He doesn’t like to fight other players. Maturity/emotions/overthink: Leduc is a rookie and have some things he can try to be better at like, not always try to make the best play possible sometimes the quick and easy play is the favorable one but Leduc always think about all his options before to made the play. That can turn into a turnover and a chance to score for the other team. He also needs to control his emotions better. In games he has a bad reputation for taking a bad penalty when he is angry. But I think all of that will come with time, maturity and experience. I think Leduc will be a great player in the future in the VHL. He has something to be better at but he is working on it. He is a well rounded player who can do almost all on the ice if needed. 541 words
  13. Love it love the mix between players perspective and journalists perspective. Love the mentality of Booberry with the 6 way tied at the top. I would like more in game description but that my personal opinion. 9/10
  14. Review: Love the article, love the format. Love the players response and his mentality. I’m looking forward to read more about you’re players in the future and good luck with the rest of the season. 8/10
  15. 1. I think not having trivia is not bad and not great. With the trivia you needed to get both question right to have the 2 capped tpe but you can also do press conference, a vhl.com article/graphic/podcast or 2 review for the same amount of tpe and guaranteed if do them well. 2. An other defenseman would not hurt us. If they are one in the market or in Free agency. 3. I think you should stop with the kiss of death . It’s a solid race for the scoring Championship. I hope he do!!! 4. If he keep that same energy in games, I don’t see how he cannot win it. 5. I just said congrats and to keep up the great work. He was outstanding in net. I didn’t realize it immediately but I was super happy for him. 6. I think I’m going to call you riddlers now. Two in a corner, wall?? One in a room there four wall in a room so not wall and none in a house ........ . The only thing maybe the letter R.
  16. Welcome back this week we are looking at some players. Who have signed recently with their new teams and the difference that they make on their new teams. Let's start with the first player. Yun Chiang is a forward with the Miami marauders. Miami has signed a lot of players in the last few weeks and Chiang is one of them; he is now a key piece in this formation. In 17 games played he has 6 goals, 14 assists, 20 points, -5, 67 shots, 12 penalty minutes, 23 hits, 12 shots blocked and 1 short-handed goal. The young Chinese sensation is developing quite well in Miami. The second player Ragnar Hagstrom is playing with the Minnesota Storm. The 6’5 Sweden defenseman. He is definitely more of an offensive minded defenseman who loves to move the puck and have phenomenal first passes, to give his team a quick counter attack. In 11 games played he has 3 goals, 11 assists, 14 points, +16, 24 shots, 2 penalty minutes, 18 hits, 15 shots blocked, 1 power play goal and 1 game-winning goal. An offensive defenseman who can do it all. The third and final player for today is Tomas Sjoberg the Sweden center for Halifax. Halifax is trying to make the playoffs and Tomas was the second line center who Halifax needed. In 13 games played he has 4 goals, 4 assists, 8 points, -10, 37 shots, 2 penalty minutes, 17 hits, 6 shots blocked and 1 power play goal. Tomas is definitely helping his teams make a push for a playoff spot. Until next week for more signing in the VHLM. 230 words Claiming week ending 10/10

  18. Is it available on IOS cause I don’t have a pc or computer
  19. First off we have defenseman George Sanderson has sign with philly is there a key part in defense for the team with : 14GP 1G 4A 5P -11 10 shots 26Pim 40 Hit 16 shots blocked and 1PPG is definitely a great pick up for Philadelphia. Sanderson is more of a Defensive defenseman who love to lay the body but is a bit undisciplined who can hurt team. Our second players is Daniel Clarke is a center at Ottawa who found a great guy to play on the third or fourth line and help this team make a good push in playoff with : 8GP 0G 1A +1 and 3 shots Clarke is definitely a good two way center good on both ends of the ice. Am other player sign with Ottawa RW Brent Ashe, with : 2GP 0G 1A 1P -2 5 shots 4Pim 7 hits and 1 shot block. These two add depth to the Ottawa offenses and are know a real contenders for the cup this year. The fourth players is Jacke Doodle a center who play now for Mexico with : 9GP 4G 3A 7P -1 29 shots 2Pim 21 Hits 1 games winner and 1PPG. Doodle is definitely a more offensive power forward who love to shoot the puck and lay the body. A good pick up for Mexico who is battling for a playoffs spot. The sixth players is Sergey Preobrazhensky who plays for San Diego the center is performing well with : 6GP 1G 4A 5P -10 26 shots 4 pim 7 hits and 5 shots block. Sergey who proved to is team that he is a key part in both side with almost a point per game. 5 shots blocked is very impressive in 6 games played for a forward. Part 2 next week
  20. Before Leduc first VHLM game, he was sitting in the arena doing is usual routine preparing himself to play. AC/DC welcome to jungle blasting trough is ear he take a moment to look around the arena and saw all the banners and remember what is GM just said to him a little earlier : You’re are here because we have fate in you to help this team win a other cup. With the legacy of the Yukon Rush Leduc was ready to hit the ice and prove to the other GM that they made a mistake not choosing him. The first period begin Leduc first shift was a bit, you can say a wake up call, trying to steal the puck from a other team player and hook him in front of the referee, who was already calling the penalty Leduc frustrating on himself was looking down in the Penalty box. He realize that he needed to be more cautious about what plays he will made. The First period ended and the score was tied 3 for both team. Leduc was siting in the locker room focus for the second period. His coach was looking around the locker room staring into every player’s eyes, he stop right at Leduc place, Leduc look up and said : I know coach it was a bad penalty and I’m going to make it work on the second period trust me. The coach was a bit surprise by the kid and said nothing, he just glance at him nodding is head and continue his road around the locker room. Leduc First shift in the second period, he enter the ice, skating like he shotgun ten energy drink. He hit a player in the neutral zone, take the puck, enter the enemy zone skating a bit looking around, he saw his teammates Bot D5 behind him but the other team player was blocking the pass, so he shoot and the goalkeeper make the pad save but Bot D5 take the juicy rebound and score!! The second shift in this period Delaney Monroe with the puck in the offensive zone, Leduc was in front of the goalkeeper trying to block his view when Monroe hit the puck with a powerful slap shot Leduc had just enough time to redirected the shot in the top left corner to score his first goal of his career. To help the Yukon Rush take the lead 5 to 3. The Yukon win this game 6 to 4 against Saskatoon. In the third, Leduc did take an other stupid penalty finishing the game with one goal, one assists, two hits, four shots, four penalty minutes and he play a total of 10 minutes and 36 seconds in his first game. Leduc want it to talk to the coach about the games and his relations with the team he explain to the coach how he needed to take a brake for a while, because is grandfather was at the hospital and he was not in is 100% shape with his head he was not able to focus on hockey. That why he was tense between period he explain to the coach. The coach understand his situation and offer him to pay his flight ticket to go home for a week or two. Our favorite protagonist did not play in game 2 to 5 but will be back for game 6. Thank you for reading and hope you appreciate it. 548 words claiming this the week ending 10/10/21
  21. Review: Love the stories that you created with you’re brother. I like how marcel is a machine to block shots and Daniel is a bit more offensive minded. I would love to see, next time maybe, a more in depth description about the Power play or penalty kill where one of the brother made a big hit or block a shots. Except that the stories are very interesting next after next. Rating : 8,5/10
  22. Review: That’s sick!!! Love the theme and the contrast between the colors the smoke and the background definitely make this feel like it’s already Halloween. The only thing that is missing its is name. The blood on the jersey it’s a nice touch. 9,9/10 Great job!!!
  23. One week before the VHLM draft, Leduc was talking to his family it was one of the last night that everybody was together. They were talking about what the future will prepare for them. It’s was an emotional night nonetheless. Before leaving home Leduc and his dad had a chat about what to expect about playing hockey in an other city and is draft ranking, is dad was always saying : The only thinks that matter it’s to be draft and I know you will after that it’s to you to prove that you’re capable of playing big minutes in important match. The week pass by interview after interview Mexico, Philadelphie, San Diego and Yukon. Leduc have a great feeling with those teams he thought I did well in the interview and was sure one of those teams will make the right selection to draft him. The morning of the draft Leduc was up at Five overthinking about all the little details he did in this last season every good plays he did, but also every mistakes too. Taking a shower was the best idea for him it’s like the water hitting is head made him forget all of those ideas and he was now focus on what the draft will bring him. He started the day with a little run around the block just to let loose some nerves, enjoying the view that the city have with some music in his ears he was ready. The big night Leduc sit down he knew that he will probably be pick in the late fourth round, early fifth. But he hoped that he would be pick in the third round. With no surprise The red menace, Nico Pearce And Hulk Hogan 2 was selected in the top ten. Leduc played with those guys in the Junior Showcase with the Warriors and he knew they were going to be pick in the first round he was happy for them. We are know in the third round Leduc is starting the get stress after every pick he look at the stand with hope to ear his name sounds into the arena speakers. Leduc was talking to his agent when he heard from Canada Quebec the Yukon Rush are proud to select... Leduc is standing speechless and with eyes full off hope... Alexandre Leduc! He was jumping in the air huge smile on his face. He was almost running to the stand to meet the team that draft him. Camp come in no time Leduc was on the ice trying to make is spot on the on of the four line he was playing like the devils was possessed him skating like there no tomorrow laying the body with big hits. He finally made the team he has a spot on the third line right wing. Meeting his teammates was one of the most amazing experience that he has everyone was welcoming the veteran wanted to take rookies on a city tour bus. The tour was amazing the city his fantastic, but the funniest moment when was Hulk Hogan 2 @TXC saw him he started yelling: BROTHAAAA to Leduc the two of them started laughing. Another funny moment was Leduc teammates was talking about there dogs and showing pictures, when Leduc shared his pictures of his dog Hogan look at him and said : That’s a fake dog she is stuffed and every one was like : yeah the hell thats a stuff dog. 586 words
