I don't normally like to write long-winded articles or soppy journals but I needed a different change of pace and, I don't know I feel like I don't post enough of my own content outside of the occasional graphic often enough. Fun little thing, I passed where I was at with my first-gen character and I kind of had this sense of comfort. But all at the same time I've reached that little flat area, the plateau, where it's hard to see myself having any meaningful impact where I'm at. I'm back at that point where I was before (granted, less busy so not going IA lol) but I'm managing through it with my graphics for other people. I'm managing to gain TPE but I feel like I'm just getting it slower and slower (I'm not but it feels it.) I'm hoping that my player starts to perform a bit better for the Dynamo, I would hate for Johnny to be the piece that's holding the team back. I'm sure it'll get better from here.

1. After our performance this past playoffs, how do you feel about the state of Davos as a team? We will never lose again. Ever. 2. With the draft coming up, we currently sit at the 10th selection! What position do you think we need the most? AKK has been putting the team on his back, a decent backup could be good to roundup the base. 3. Did your player perform as you expected this season? Not at all. Underperformed tremendously, sadly. 4. Do you believe offseasons should be shorter? Or is this the perfect amount of time between each season? A week is good. Anything more loses interest. 5. Give us one aspiration/goal you have for S96! Do better with my character and really go into overdrive on tpe. 6. What piece of advice would you give a first-gen VHLer? Itll be boring at first, but give it some time and it'll become boring and tedious.

Reviewing! Woah! Extremely well done! The font you chose for the 'S95 Continental Cup' title was literally perfect and the italics on it actually add that extra oomph. You also did a fantastic job of overlaying the 'champions' over the title. It's clean and well done. For the render, the head replacement with the red panda could NOT have been easy so kudos to you for pulling it off (also the ears through the mask are a great touch. The perspectives on the logos are solid and don't look forced on. The glow on the logos is tasteful as well and doesn't overpower the image. The only thing I could have seen changed would be having the render in the background maybe a bit more blurred and to maybe try and change the logo on the base of the cup. Legit gonna be using this one for inspiration on future graphics. Well done! 10/10

Reviewing! First off, as someone else said, the shades are very well done haha. I can always appreciate a nice personal touch to the image. My suggestion for adding something like that though would be to make it look like the same quality as the overall image. The main image is a bit blurry, so dont be afraid to make the glasses a bit blurry too! I like the recolor on the jersey as well, very well done! The color you chose for the frame of the card throw me off though, maybe a purple instead of light blue one? Otherwise, great work on the jersey swap! 8.5/10

1. How would you describe Davos’ performance in the wildcard round against Warsaw in one word? Wonderful! We did well keeping the offense at bay and capitalizing on our chances. 2. Moscow is up next! How do you feel about our squad going into this series? If you are answering after the series is over, how did we do? ...well we just let the score do the talking! Sweep, sweep! 3. What are your thoughts on the current state of goalies in the VHL after the STHS tweak from a few seasons ago to create more scoring chances for skaters? Goalies will always be in a weird spot because of the offputting attributes that SimonT has, I wonder if we'll start looking at other engines soon. 4. If you could play with any other player in the VHL, active or retired, who would it be? I wish I could play with my last gen player, Cadmael. Would love to have seen that defensive presence! 5. What was your player’s most impressive stat this regular season? How underwhelming he was. Way below expectations. 6. Does your player have any pregame rituals or superstitions? Oh yeah, the skates must always stay clean and shiny. No scuffs and certainly no smudges.

Reviewing! First off, kudos on the use of 3d font. Very rare to find that and I think in this particular case, it was used well. The sparkles are a nice touch as well. The first note I have is about the render itself, it just looks a bit too brightened, just makes the colors look washed out around it even though they arent! Also the black background was hard to see so I would maybe just do more to it next time, maybe just a plain background instead of black would work? Great work nonetheless! I love seeing more social media style stuff on here. 7.5/10

Reviewing! It's always nice to see another phantom piece! I like the spray effect you have along the bottom and I can appreciate a good use of background. The only real gripe that I have with the piece is that the 'of the VHL' part is a little bit hard to read with the black and could probably do with some outlining or blending just a bit. I like the addition of that phrase along the pattern, but maybe just blur it a little to match the background as well. Aside from those notes, vertical sigs are hard to do and I think you did a good job pulling it off, some tweaks and it'll be even better! 8/10

Wildcard Series Recap: Warsaw Predators vs. HC Davos Dynamo Media Spot By Vice One of two wildcard races happening in the S95 playoffs, this European Conference matchup found itself to be quite the series of entertaining games. Both teams found themselves above the playoff cutoff line by quite comfortable numbers, with Warsaw ending the season 40-28-4 (84 pts) and Davos ending the season 42-21-9 (93 pts). The stellar performances this season from players like Antonia Bucatini and rookie Felicia Hardy helped Davos set themselves apart from their last few seasons counterparts. Warsaw, on the backs of the efforts from Thor Reingaard and Maxim Anisimov, sought to redeem their 1 and done performance from the playoffs last season. Game 1 Warsaw 3 - Davos 1 Warsaw Leads 1-0 In a pretty physical and intense game, the Warsaw Predators came out on top, taking down HC Davos Dynamo 3-1. The first period had Warsaw striking first and fast, with Thor Reingaard and King Kisslinger finding the back of the net and putting their team up 2-0. HC Davos found themselves overwhelmed by Warsaw’s defense, and goalie Merome Dilson was not letting anything through. In the second, Davos managed to claw one back, thanks to a nice goal from Yaroslav Trunov, but Warsaw was quick to respond and Maxim Anisimov scored one on a power play soon after to make it 3-1. The third period was a show in pure defense. Warsaw shut the door, refusing to let Davos get back into it. Despite HC Davos’ push, they just couldn’t solve Dilson, and the Predators skated away with a solid W. Final shots were Warsaw 35, Davos 25. 3 Stars: 1 - Maxim Anisimov (WAR) 2 - Merome Dilson (WAR) 3 - King Kisslinger (WAR) Game 2 Warsaw 1 - Davos 5 Series Tied 1-1 In another physical game, HC Davos Dynamo managed to keep the Warsaw Predators at bay, cruising to a 5-1 victory. The first period set the tone with Grimgor Ironhide hammering in the first goal, leaving Warsaw scrambling to respond. Despite some frantic attempts by Reingaard and Kardashian, Warsaw couldn't get any momentum. The second period was a show in how the Dynamo managed to win so many games this season. Bucatini and Ironhide hit home more goals, leaving Warsaw looking like prey rather than Predators. By the final period it was pretty much done. Ironhide put the nail in the coffin and Aleksanteri Kaskiniemi-Kekkonen put an end to an amazing performance. 3 Stars: 1 - Grimgor Ironhide (DAV) 2 - Aleksanteri Kaskiniemi-Kekkonen (DAV) 3 - Antonia Bucatini (DAV) Game 3 Warsaw 3 - Davos 5 Davos Leads 2-1 It didn't take long for Davos to set the tone for the game and it was almost like they never lost their momentum from the last game. 4 total goals from Davos in the very first period alone, all from different people. I think this is where Davos' strengths are really starting to shine. Each of their lines is as potent as the last and no matter where you are in the roster, you'll find a overwhelming teamwork presence. MacAvoy, Bucatini, Hardy and Ironhide all picked up a goal in the first, with Hardy picking up a 2nd goal in the 3rd to finish off a potently offensive game from Davos. Notably, Admir Bala makes his way to the scoring list by way of a goal in the 3rd to bring Warsaw to within two this game, an improvement from the last game at the very least. 3 Stars: 1 - Antonia Bucatini (DAV) 2 - Felicia Hardy (DAV) 3 - Admir Bala (WAR) Game 4 Warsaw 2 - Davos 3 Davos Advances 3-1 Stolzschweiger winner Bucatini kept up the scoring attitude from the game prior and scored in the first period to put Davos up 1-0 off a pass from Ironhide and Forum Content. After a period of another physical back and forth between the two teams, Warsaw's Minion put one on the board to tie the game at 1. Another tit for tat in the 3rd period saw the game tied at 2 with 5 minutes left. Warsaw converted to a defensive positioning to see the end of the period but were caught between changes where James MacAvoy from Bucatini managed to put Davos ahead with 4 minutes left. This would see a very physical series out with Davos advancing to the next round where they will meet the top-seeded, Moscow Menace! 3 Stars: 1 - Antonia Bucatini (DAV) 2 - Forum Content (DAV) 3 - Ben Laas (DAV) 750 Words

1. At the trade deadline, we acquired Yaroslav Trunov! What are your thoughts on Davos’ new addition? Any addition just for picks at this point is going to be good for us. We have a great core currently, and another great core ready to take the reins right after. Any additions at this point are good! Welcome to Yaroslav! 2. How do you feel about our squad at this point in the season? Good, however I feel I certainly could be performing better. All the other rookies are kicking ass and I am just floating along here. We'll see. 3. Have you ever gotten burnt out by the VHL’s weekly tasks? How do you get back on track/earn TPE consistently? Oh yeah, a few times. I've found that joining other leagues make it easier for me to stay on task though. I'm also on a bit of a redemption tour from my last create so I'm more than motivated right now, even if I am strapped for time. 4. If there was an emergency backup situation, how do you think your player would fare in the crease for Davos if called upon? (the inverse for our goalie AKK— how would your tendy do as a skater?) Oh not good at all. Swiss cheese mode. 5. Should the trivia system be overhauled or changed in any way for newer members? First gens should get questions about how to use the site and find specific features of the site to help acclimate them. After first gens, then bring back the VHL history stuff. I enjoy the trivia now more that Ive been here a bit, so that first year would be good to replace I feel. 6. What is your favorite point task to do in the VHL? Press conferences. Easy to answer, quick to churn out. 7. What is the proper way to pronounce the word GIF? Extra, but it's a hard g, like gun, or like the G in graphics.....which is what the g stands for in gif.
