  1. I’m done arguing about this. Its fucking being worked on. Believe me or don’t, I don’t care, but we’re working on it. We ♂ can’t ♂ overhaul the league attributes overnight. Rushing into changes is how we end up with horrible changes that make ♀♀ everything worse.
  2. I loved seeing the Clue renders and I wanted to make one haha Yes, the intentional yellow is 100% intentional. This is all a big clickbait lol
  3. IXAZALUOH TRAINS IN TORONTO In our last article, we managed to catch up with the ever-so elusive Cadmael Ixazaluoh, the Guatemalan Defeseman with the bite for blocking shots. He recently made his way to Toronto to begin his work with the Toronto Legion, but not before some off-season formalities, including the potential World Junior Championship selection. Because of his age and experience, Cadmael will be able to qualify for the World Junior Championship for Team World, which he is all but assumed to be chosen for. As usual, we manage to catch up with Cadmael between practices to ask him about his thoughts: Interviewer: "Cadmael! Cadmael!" Cadmael: "Ah! Buenas! What can I do for you today?" Interviewer: "Cadmael, we know you're on a tight schedule so we will keep this as brief as we can. Are you going to be selected for Team World?" Cadmael: "Maybe. I have been in touch with the front office of Team World and I am hoping that I have proven myself to at least be a worthy leading presence if selected." Interviewer: "Cadmael, you're coming off quite a season in the VHLE, are you expecting the same kind of output in the VHL?" Cadmael: "You know, I can only hope that I produce as half as well as I did in the E. The VHL is a whole different league and I will need to adapt quickly if I am to overcome this." Interviewer: "You have been quite active in the Locker Room of Toronto despite not playing a game with them, how has your interactions with the team helped you prepare for the VHL?" Cadmael: "Well it's good to be able to have some veterans to lean on, especially when you'll be playing with them next season. The quicker I can get to know them, the quicker we can start winning. Interviewer: "Thanks for your time Cadmael." Cadmael: "Hasta pronto." Until next time! Words: 316

  7. Press Conference Week Ending 1/16/22 (Answer 6 Questions for 2 Capped TPE) End of the Season Edition! For most of you, this is your final Press Conference with Mexico City, some of you may end up back here! Will you take anything from your experience here with you to your next team? Coaches for the NHL All-Star game have been picked! (Brunette, Panthers; Brindamour, Hurricanes; DeBoer, Golden Knights; Bednar, Avalanche) What do you think about the choices? Which division in the NHL would you say is the hardest? Which is the easiest? It really has been fun writing these questions for y'all the past season. Breakfast or lunch? Why? Cats or dogs? Why?
  8. Ixazaluoh Spotted in Toronto In our last piece, we discussed the quick exit from Cadmael Ixazaluoh after the heartbreaking defeat of the Bratislava Watchmen. It was confirmed to this VHL correspondent that Ixazaluoh has been spotted in Toronto, as was suspected after his sudden departure from Europe. This confirms that he will most likely be called up by the Legion in the coming weeks, expecting to be playing for the pro-team in Season 82. He was noted to be in higher spirits than when the Watchmen lost, however, the loss seemed to still weigh heavy on him. Our reporter managed to grab his attention for a few questions: Reporter: "Cadmael! Welcome to Toronto! Are you excited to be here?" Cadmael: "Yes, very. The weather is very cold and it is very nice to be back in a big city! This reminds me of Philadelphia, but much much colder." Reporter: "Indeed, Cadmael! And Canada is certainly happy to have you here! Are you hoping to have a big impact here?" Cadmael: "Most certainly. The Legion have been on the precipice of something great and I hope to be that little extra to push them beyond." Reporter: "You will be joined by a few others as well, seeing the talent in the Toronto pipeline must be very promising for you, among them, your old linemate George Sanderson." Cadmael: "I am eager to help be a part of a new generation of players in Toronto. You are also correct, I am most excited to be reunited with George." Reporter: "Before I let you go, Cadmael, you had some people worried after leaving Bratislava so quickly, do you-" Cadmael: "Yes. I hold myself to a higher standard, and so when I do not perform to my own standard, I tend to take it a bit harsher. I am so grateful to Bratislava for being my home the past season, my only regret was not winning them a cup." With that, he walked off toward the practice arena. Cadmael is certainly maturing quickly, the league tending to do that with these young men and women. Will he see the success he craves in Toronto?
  9. Since the AGM was chosen, I will instead take the opportunity to congratulate @Shindigs and wish the front office the best! I think his next step should be to hop on IRC and get some sick HTML backgrounds for his profile. (PS Put me in your top 8 ) I don't think it's my spot to even say. It was a team effort the whole year and unfortunately I don't feel I pulled my fair share. I'm sure it'll ride out just fine. Welp. I would have eaten flan.
  10. Fine, I suppose. Uneventful No, though I am finding motivation to be hard No, and no. I would consider myself unpopular. I'm just here because I can't afford a PS4/5 to do Create-a-Player in NHL22 and this is the next best thing. Do you know what the James Webb Space Telescope is? Are you excited that it has successfully deployed? Would you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert? Aren't these questions hard as hell to come up with?
  11. Reviewing! I was actually quite impressed because I found the Bratislava Logo among the hardest to swap into and you seem to have done it effortlessly. The effects you use really convey the spirit of the render and it doesn't look overbearing by any means. Like another commenter said, only gripe is the NHL logo. As close to perfect as you can get! 9.5/10
  12. It's a good start! I would certainly love to see you use some layers to make somethings in your image pop. The jersey swap is well done, though work with a dark brush on the logo to make it look like it's a part of the jersey fabric itself. I like to just match the existing creases on the players jersey and continue them over the logo. The issue with using the same color on the text with the jersey is that some parts can be harder to read than others, mitigate this with a dark drop shadow of the text. A great foundation piece! Keep it up! 8/10
  13. Despite the unfortunate outcome, the graphic is very well done! The layering is very well done and I think the simplicity of it is what makes this such a good graphic. There isn't any specific thing that I would improve or add to, though I would have loved to have seen the league logo integrated somewhere in there, that why it would also look like a graphic a professional social media team would put out. Awesome! 9.5/10
  14. Very nice graphic! I think the overall effects of the ice texture is very well integrated, I also loved the faded out Legion logo on the left there. I feel that you could have done a bit more with the name font, but to be fair, thats my same issue. I have a hard time figuring out what else to do with the text. Overall though, well done! 8/10
  15. EE CHAZA LOO OH this is awesome dude, thank you
  16. Press Conference Week Ending 1/9/22 (Answer 6 Questions for 2 Capped TPE) Happy New Year! Say something positive to start the New Year! The playoffs are under way, and the Kings are up against the first seed. What is your prediction? Will you be participating in any off the off-season tournaments? Like the Junior Showcase or the Pro/Am? The draft is after the playoffs, do you think you are prepared for the interviews and what comes after? What is something that you would say about your player to convince someone to draft your player higher than others? What's your go-to pass time? Jeez these are really hard to come up with after you do a couple...you good? Need anything? Tea? Water? What technology that we use often now do you think we won't use at all in 10 years?
  17. Upset in Bratislava The end of the VHLE season wrapped up this past weekend, with many of the top teams still jostling for a top-spot. The Watchmen had lost quite a few games toward the end of the season, which cut their comfortable point lead in the standings, mixing them up in the bunch of teams vying for a spot. With their status as a playoff team resting on 1 last game, the Watchmen were not able to pull through and ultimately lost the game and their playoff spot, despite having 91 points and going 43-24-5. We tried to speak with Cadmael Ixazaluoh, however he was not available for comment as he was "not present at the arena" at the time for the press interview. An independent reporter has come forward with information that Ixazaluoh was seen leaving the arena immediately after the game finished. The reporter noted that he was: "very clearly shaken by the loss and not in a good state of mind" By no means did Ixazaluoh shirk on his responsibility for the team, coming out 10th in points for the VHLE with 96 points, 2nd in assists with 83, 6th in shots blocked with 188 and most notably, the most minutes played among any player this season with 2277 minutes or just under 38 hours of game time. To say that the Guatemalan defenseman was leaned on to support the D-core of Bratislava, would be an understatement. This is speculation from this reporter, but the young phenom may be feeling some sort of guilt about his performance, despite the numbers saying otherwise. Bratislava is obviously not feeling too well after this loss, especially after the performance this past season. A New Year spells new opportunities though, and there is no doubt that everyone involved is looking forward to the future. Words: 301
