Alright, everyone, Shaw is back for another article. Today we will be talking about the journey of Shaw going all the way from the M in Mexico City, to Geneva in the land of the Swiss, and now in Malmo, for forever and ever (until Mr. Kaleeb @KaleebtheMightytrades me). Today we will be talking about how the leagues are different, how people and your experience are different, what changes there are in the different leagues, and some things which remain the same no matter where you go in the league. This is about to be an article of decent length so sit tight and relax and have fun with this article. Alright, first we start with the baby leagues and talk about the VHLM. This league is the first league you go into when you first come into the league (or make a new player). The VHLM ( or the M for short) is where you start learning about the league. You learn about how the league works and what you do in it. For Shaw, this was his first season ever. He had learned about this league from a YouTube channel and thought “Oh! This seems fun” and made a player. He had absolutely no idea what this was, or that he was in for the time of his life. In this land of Mexico, Shaw met two and a half men and his GM. First, he met his GM, whose name was Youloser @youloser1337. This man was one-third of the reason that the article that you are reading this article right now. The next person that has heavily influenced me into staying in this league in my long-time father friend by the name of Arcey @Arce. Any other variation of his name is incorrect it’s not RC that’s a remote-controlled car. Arcey was my guide, mentor, and the person who helped me stay in this league by teaching me the basics of this league along with You(loser). Him and You taught me my alphabet in the league. The next person who Shaw met in the league is my year-long friend (I keep my friendships for a long time) and currently the guy I put my body on the line for, Mr. Cat @comrade cat. I’m surprised his name hasn’t been banned from the league yet. Mr. Cat and I go back some time, including recording 3 podcasts of an hour each year having nothing to show for it, from the M and now the big leagues, he’s been a helpful friend while being a guide for what to expect. The last half-man who I met in this league was none other than the infamous, the impossible, the iconic, LEMORSE @Lemorse7. Mr. Lemorse helped teach Shaw the bigger parts of the league later on in his career however, they first met in Mexico City, Lemorse had also coined the term The Three Mosquitos (derived from the three musketeers) referring to the bond for Cat, Shaw, and Arce. These guys made a decent run in the VHLM however, the very next year, all three left the VHLM for the VHLE where Shaw and Acrey left for Geneva and Boris went to Rome. Geneva was an interesting experience from the M. In the M, you’re guided every step of the way, while in the E, you have some freedom but also have enough guidance. As most of you are old enough, think elementary school going into middle school. In the E, I hadn’t met many people except the very famous man Minion. I still haven’t found his real age, gotten numbers from 14 to 41. Minion, and having some help from Arcey, helped the transition from the M to the E fairly smooth with minimal bumps. The E was a fun experience, teaching you what you’re going to need to know for the big league without really rushing you into it which is nice. I like the concept of the league in the middle as it helps slow things down. Other than that, not much happened in the E. This was mainly just a way to not get stuck in the VHLM for too long and not get bullied in the VHL so it was a good thing since it encouraged us to keep on earning to get into the VHL. The VHLE had a lack of playoffs for Shaw however, he definitely appreciated the stuff in the VHLE to help the transition. Between the VHLE and the VHL, the entire league saw a huge change, the change from regular attributes to hybrid attributes. This, surprisingly, did not hurt Shaw as much as most people. This was as a result of Shaw having a single category focused and since he was still in the E, he had time to see what he should and shouldn’t change. Along with guidance from Minion and Lemorse, the transition from such a big change in between these two leagues was fairly smooth sailing. Now, in the VHL, we go to Malmo. It’s been 4 years since I got here, we first had @Domas our GM. Now guess who our AGM was, yep you guessed it, in fact even my keyboard guessed it, it was Lemorse. The VHL is probably the most interesting league of them all. It’s like high school, you have the independence to choose what classes you want but have some restrictions depending on your team. Similarly, you have the guidance you need, however it’s mainly on yourself to choose what you want. The VHL has been quite the ride, in fact I will probably be writing an article about the VHL itself soon so I won’t go into too much depth about it right now, but to summarize it, this season, I also met @animal74who was a great veteran and guide to my carrer. Dom got one of the mosquito back for the low low price of a 4th. Dom and Lemorse both had to retire from their posts due to personal reasons, we now have @KaleebtheMightyrunning this whole operation so he must get his sidekick who was @Spaz. We also meet many other people during this time including veteran defence man Max Torq @Steveand rookie Mo Probert @ItsScoot. Alright everyone, so that was a short summary of how the league works from Shaw’s perspective and different experiences from the different leagues. I won’t bore you with the outro, this will be Dabnad Shaw, signing off one more time, until next time, this is Dabnad Shaw signing off. 1086 words Week ending Jan 8, Jan 15

Hello everyone, it’s Shaw back once again. Today, we will be exploring what happens in the locker room for the team you may know as Malmo. This will mainly be a role play on each player/character and is not meant to represent anything negative. This act is just for entertainment purposes, I do not mean to cause any negative reactions, and I also do not mean any rude comments to anyone reading, or being mentioned in this. *game ends* Max Torq - Heyyy, let’s go guys, good win today guys, we’ve been doing well recently, Boris, great as always good in the net, Shaw, you seemed a bit off today, only 4 shots blocked today. Dabnad Shaw - Give me a break, I think the doctor is bored of me going in the hospital at this rate, they’re starting to give me bandages to apply myself, at the end of my carrer I can probably be a bone specialist. Kaleeb- Alright people, good work today, well done out there, another win, we’re on a streak let’s not let the flame extinguish, Dom (Igor Molotov) and Max (Torq), good leadership on the ice, teaching the new people how it’s done eh? Igor Molotov - All in a days work, gotta get these younglings some experience. Anyways wh- Boris Tzear - Finally these pads are off, I swear to god you skaters have it so much easier, it takes me like five hours to take this stuff off. You skaters have to take your skates off and call it a day. I definitely don’t get paid enough for this. Dabnad Shaw- Yeah get back to complaining, should’ve just become bigger and you can come skate with us. Kaleeb - Okay you two stop bickering, anyways, today is the last game before the playoffs start, we haven’t made the playoffs this year so who are we rooting for this time? Mo Probert - Considering I am not allowed to cheer for any European teams, I think I’m going for Calgary this season, you know just changing it up this time around. Dabnad Shaw - I’m going with Vancouver again, definitely the favourite. Boris Tzesar - I agree with Shaw, Vancouver is definitely a team I’d like see winning again. Spaz - Hey everyone, sorry I missed the start of the meeting, had to finish up some formalities near the end of the game, what are we talking about today? Max Troq - Just seeing who we think is going to win the cup this year, Boris (Tzesar) and (Dabnad) Shaw are going for Vancouver while Mo (Probert) is cheering for Calgary, bunch of Canadians here. Kaleeb - Alright guys, we’ve gotta empty the space, we’ve gotta leave before the home team kicks us out, I’ll make the speech short today, we did good out there today, we’ve got to remember to keep our head up, and eyes forward, if we do this every game like we did today we can win every game just like we did today. Also everyone don’t forget to enjoy your break, we will have a season-end practice tomorrow, but after that the next offical practice will be after the playoffs end so have fun, watch the playoffs, and celebrate the off-season with your family and friends see you guys tomorrow. Everyone- see y’a coach (Also Boris I spelt your name wrong on purpose) Anyways that’ll be the end of me for today, until next time, this is Dabnad Shaw signing off until next time. 587 words Week ending 01-01-23

Hello everyone! It’s Shaw again. This is less an article to talk about the inflation of skill more to celebrate the fact that it has been a year since I have joined the league. This article is more of a throw back to my very first article in the VHL about the inflation of skill. This was back when I was naive and didn't know how the league worked. Now a full year later I come back and look where I was wrong. Now, one of the biggest and most important points of that article was the fact that most people earned a lot of TPE during the holiday season and since every single player earned this TPE, it really didn't matter as everyone earned the same stuff. This my friends, was where I was wrong. Being young in the league I didn't understand how TPE worked and thought that one TPE was the same for everyone. What I failed to consider was the fact that when you have more TPE, a single piece of TPE is worth less. For example, if you have 750 TPE with your defensive coverage and many defensive statistics being around the 90 mark while wanting to just upgrade defence, one TPE doesn't matter since you're going to need around 5-8 TPE upgrade any statistic as that's your goal. On the contrary, if you’re a new player who has 50 defence, that one TPE is an upgrade of an entire skill. This is a huge thing which I failed to consider. Rather than inflating the VHL, giving out free TPE helps balance the TPE. Of course, this entire study is flawed since many inactive players don't see the free TPE however, in a perfect society, free TPE helps more than it hurts. Now that the mistake in my very first article is gone, I shall talk about how we can help balance the league. I refuse to write about anything but economics in the holiday spirit. You know, in the holiday spirit most people are thinking about gifts and family I'm thinking about how I can make an article in the VHL which I’ll review next year for it to make no sense to me and make another article out of it, kind of like a money laundering scheme, at the end of the day all the money (TPE) is mine. This year, I'll be showing everyone how we can perfectly balance the league to give everyone an equal chance and make it so there is no inequality to make so skill and time don't matter and everything we do is based on luck and what our architecture is. This is how we can make the league boring for everyone and why parity in the league may be a bad thing. So the first thing we want to do to make it equal is to make everyone restart at 100 TPE. What this will do is make it balanced for everyone and make it so that everyone can have an equal chance. Next, we want to discard all methods of earning TPE. Earn one TPE every time to make it fair for everyone. This would make the league incredibly boring. This way, you do nothing in the league. So my friends, since we don't want to do this, parity in the league may be bad. Anyways, let's end this short segment of me ranting about having parity and I will see you next time, until then this is Dabnad Shaw, signing off, until next time. Week ending Dec 25 2022 590 words

Hello everyone, Shaw is back writing stuff, for now that is, and today, we will be talking about my experience for Dabnad. Dabnad Shaw is the first member of the (non-Goalie Shaw) Shaw family. He’s a defensemen who’s good at stoping pucks for the goalie (ask @comrade catI single handedly reduce his shots against by like 2 a game) and he sometimes helps on the other side of the ice as well. Today we will talking about his journey and accomplishments over his life and see what type of a player he is. THE VHLM Shaw started off his carrer half way through the VHLM where he was signed to the Mexico City Kings by Mr. @youloser1337where he was met with many of his best friends (and best enemy’s). One of his best friends he met there was Ronan Lavelle @Arce. Arce (also known as Arcey, RC, R man, R McRman, the Ranator, Perry the Platypus and many more) was a smart forward. He was smart, dashing, and old and very mature. Arcey is now a very active member however, back when we met he was a very shy member (this is a lie). The other person he met there was the worst person he’s ever met. Shaw hated him soo much he met them again in Malmo and wanted to trade them for a 4th. This person was @comrade cat. Now, whatever I said about Cat was a lie, he’s a very nice person (mostly) and an active presence in the locker room, a great goalie, and a damn good teammate. Shaw, Arcey, and Cat together we’re known as the 3 mosquitos musketeers, this term was famously coined by @Lemorse7who is another friend of ours. This team was very well done and went long ways in the playoffs, not very long but still, and had a damn good time with the locker room chemistry being one of the best Shaw has ever seen. After this Shaw came into the VHLE after playing just 36+4 games in the VHLM. VHLE The VHLE was also a fun experience for Shaw, here he met a very fun person named @UnknownMinion(I think this is him?) as our GM. He was also another smart and kind person that everyone liked (Can my family be let go now?). In the VHLE, we also see Arcey join us on our journey at the Rush where he recorded 3 times as many points as me, forwards these days, where I recorded 37, remember this as this will be important in the future. Other than this, nothing as exciting happened in the VHLE. This was a fun year as well. VHL Now, onto the big leagues, here, Shaw was drafted to Malmo where he met @Dom, the best way to describe Dom is that he is who he is, he is Dom. That might be confusing but you get what I mean when you meet him. The first few season went well, then we meet Cat @comrade catonce again, Cat was traded here for a 4th and a great active member once again. At first, he was inactive however, he became active after we convinced him to become active. Sadly after a while, Dom had to retire from GMing which is when we meet @KaleebtheMighty. Kaleeb is a very good GM who encourages us in any way possible. In the VHL Shaw has recorded points consisting of 38,39, and 40. So from the VHLE he has gotten points of 37,38,39 and 40, pretty interesting isn’t it? We also meet @Steve, Steve is the old and mature on in the group who can literally be mine and Cat’s parents. Well, that’s my first gen experience for Shaw, a fun and well done time for everyone. I’ve loved my time here and hope to spend as much time here as possible, other than that, this is Dabnad Shaw signing off once again and until next time, see y’a! 658 words Week ending Dec 18
