Scoring has been an issue for the Vancouver Wolves what should the GM do about it? Light up our asses 6. Should we see any further punishment after the drinking incident over the weekend? What should it be and why? A second drinking event to see if anyone learned from the first event. 7. Bonus: Favorite drink? Why? Water. Because my body is a temple and no poison shall ever enter. Graphic Review: I got a trivia question wrong so now I have to do a review to pick up a TPE. And since I know @Scurvy is just starting out doing graphics, I’d figured on giving an HONEST review of your graphic. Dont shoot the messenger!! Here goes: At first glance, what caught my eye was the action the player is doing. It is an impressive hockey motion. And then I saw the “LA” logo on the chest. Upon further examination of the graphic, I like the color scheme you chose as it gives a good sense of mystery and meshes good with the player and background. I like the layer of broken ice to add to the background and the size of the player is appropriate as well as the location. You created a nice separation to make the background important as well. As far as the signature goes, the color, font, and size are appropriate for this graphic. I like that you didnt try to be creative and add depth to the signature as it probably would have conflicted with the broken ice. The last couple of letters blend in with the glove which loses the full name, but I’m not sure it would have looked any better if you moved it left because then it would have been too close to the left edge. Perhaps if it was lowered and the white background would have changed things. Overall, I think this is a well done graphic and your work is commendable. Unless Riley Martin is being traded to Los Angeles, I’d like to have seen a Wolves logo on the front for a more realistic VHL graphic. Well done graphic. Your artistic talent surprised the shit out of me!! Score 9/10

Except you made him look like a hockey player not a drunk vagrant.

1. What are your thoughts around the season finally starting? I’m glad we picked up a few wins. It’s gonna be a tough conference. There are a lot of good teams. 2. 0-4-1 Start the season was very good but what was your overall concern level between 1-10? Explain… I’m worried that I’m gonna be letting the team down this season. I gotta step up. 3. Malmo Nighthawks allowed us to burn our Bots in the back bring on a human revolution so what did you think of the trade between Vancouver and Malmo? I trust Frank and PMb so I know whatever decisions they make it’s going to be good ones. Plus they are good peeps. 4. What do you think is the early season biggest surprise so far? Explain? Simon is being a shithead and letting Toronto and Davos win all the games. 5. What you think is the early season least surprise? Explain? Hmmm. Well, I guess that Seattle is doing pretty good. No surprise there. 6. What TV or Movie series are you watching at the moment and what are your general thoughts around the series; worth watching etc…. We are watching La Reina del Sur again. Just finished season 1 and started back up on season 2. 7. Bonus Riddle: What has a neck but no head? Hmmm.. A clam? A geoduck? A worm?

Well i guess STZ didnt need to keep you!!!! Bet he’s glad he did!

It’s that time again to write something with enough words to get me through the next four weeks into theme week, and it was supposed to be a podcast with @Scurvy but apparently he forgot and did a media spot. To make matters worse, he talked about Vancouver in his media spot so that leaves me with having to come up with something different. I looked at The New York Americans, as that is where Trueno’s old teammate and mentor went to. @Girts has found a home and Guntis Gavilrovs is sure to do some damage to other teams. New York general manager, @STZ, has turned the Americans into a competing team and I’m betting on New York to win the Continental Cup this season, which means they won’t! I don’t know much about STZ, other than his crazy profile pic and the funny posts he puts up. I know even less about his AGM, Hylands. He’s always entertaining. He has built a solid team for sure. I am familiar with Chris Reynolds Jr, @Crstats23. If Reynolds is like Crstats23 previous player, Pete Mitchell, expect a plethora of goals, especially on the power play. Reynolds is a steady player and STZ will be test in Reynolds’ talent early on to find a good line to support his talent. Through 10 games so far this season, Reynolds is on pace to shoot over 420 times. This is a definite plus to New York because you can’t score unless you shoot! Reynolds is a good teammate to have on this stacked team and he’s going to provide a lot of wins for the Americans. One of the star forwards for the Americans is none other than George Richmond, @badcolethetitan. Richmond is in his second season with New York, after spending four seasons with Moscow. New York was lucky to obtain Richmond last season after Richmond finished with an impressive 109 points and 500 shots in season 96 with the Menace. Richmond, like Reynolds, has started out the season strong and there will be no letting up for this guy, considering last season he posted 103 points. Richmond is a tough guy who likes to hit and is on pace to collect over 300 hits this season. Richmond is the perfect leader to have on this team if STZ wants to compete for the Cup. Entering his final season, Jedediah Big Ol Doinks in Amish, @hylands , is even more impressive than the previous two forwards. JBODIA, better referred to as Amish, is scoring 1.4 points a game thus far, and is leading the team in points. The experienced winger has spent the last 5 seasons with the Americans and has steadily built up a respectable castle of stats, after spending his first two seasons with Malmo. Amish’s claim to fame from last year is 544 shots on goal. My guess is that Amish is another valuable leader for the Americans and his experience will be the instrument STZ will use to push through the enduring season that has just started. Another star who happens to be retiring after this season is Maxim Anisimov, @McLovin. Anisimov spent his first 5 seasons with Warsaw before coming over to the Americans. Anisimov is another shooter and has had two incredible seasons with New York. He’s off to a fast start this season and it appears that he’s another New York forward who likes to shoot. In fact, Anisimov has shot the puck well over 3000 times in his career, with a 9% scoring average over his career, but a 10% scoring average with the Americans. This is Kevin O’Connor’s 2nd season in the VHL. It appears that he is in good company and will be used by STZ in a supportive role to fill a void. @Luke033 is a steady TPE earner, even though he’s not a max earner, and he provides O’Connor with enough improvement each week to make an impact. O’Connor is an unselfish player who provides the puck more often than trying to score. He plays a valuable role on any line for the Americans. Rounding out the forwards for the Americans is Ughsike, @UghSike. I thought I recognized this name before. He has bounced around the VHL and New York is his 7th different team. Ughsike has not been active since September. STZ has been given a gift by picking up Ughsike, as he fills a roster spot with minimal salary, and its obvious that STZ has put him on the right line as Ughsike has already knotted 4 goals and 2 assists, and a 33.3% shooting percentage. Why couldn’t @Daniel Janser follow his GM’s footsteps with a short name. Between Jedediah Big Ol Doinks in Amish, and Callum Gary Yanick Janser, there aren’t enough scrabble tiles to continue the game. STZ was doing the right thing drafting Janser. CGYJ has been a reckoning force for the Americans and his dominating features scares opponents. Last season Janser was the recipient of the Jake Wylde Trophy, and it was well deserved. He had over 300 hits and over 200 shots blocked. Janser is currently ranked 3rd in career hits for the Americans and may pass Connor Low and jump into 2nd by the end of the season. Janser is ranked 2nd in shots blocked with New York, and will easily top Tord Yvel by the end of the season. In addition to hits and shots blocked, Janser is a superstar of spending time in the penalty box. He is New York’s all time leading sinner. This bad boy has two seasons remaining and is sure to be inducted into the hall of fame with his time on the ice. Currently, Janser is right behind Amish in points. Whatever STZ is doing, he’s definitely doing something right. Let’s see how long this lasts!! Probably through the season and into the playoffs. STZ’s late Christmas present from @Frank, came by way of trade, as Guntis Gavilrovs made his way from the Vanouver Wolves over to the Americans. I must say, there were several of us on the Wolves’ roster who took the loss of Gavilrovs tough, even though we knew it was something that had to be done for the team. Likewise, we knew that whoever picked up Gavilrovs would be a force to be reckoned with. And now that I’m writing about the Americans and their roster, I can see that it’s more evident than I imagined. Gavilrovs is a dominating defenseman and is a bone crushing player who is coming off an incredible season. Gavilrovs is going to provide the Americans the support that he provided the Wolves. Coming off a 100 point season is remarkable by itself, but adding 291 hits and 140 shots blocked, there is no denying Guntis Gavilrovs deserved to be recognized for his play. Gavilrovs was the top offensive defenseman last season, winning the Alexander Valiq Trophy. He was also named the best overall defenseman last season, winning the Sterling Labatte Trophy. Gavilrovs wasn’t finished winning trophies, he won the Dustin Funk Trophy, being named the most improved player of season 97. If there is something @ctoland102 can learn from Gavilrovs and Janser, to help his player, Cody Toland, I’m sure this first gen player will take advantage of having the top two defenders in the VHL as mentors. No doubt, STZ has Toland paired up with one of the two stud defenders and is going to have a successful season just being a part of the lineup. As the season progresses, this success might give ctoland102 a needed spark to help lift him up to be a highly successful defender with the Americans. Rounding out the defense is Chuck E Cheese, @a_ferk, who matches up with either Gavilrovs or Janser, and is likely to have success just by being matched up with either one of them. Cheese is starting his 3rd season with the Americans and his claim to fame is being a hot shot blocker. Cheese has been inactive for 2025, but that’s not going to stop him from being an assist producing, shot blocking, offensive defenseman, given the players surrounding him. It’s bad enough that New York has Jedediah Big Ol Doinks in Amish, and Callum Gary Yanick Janser, on the roster, but now you have to add WWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWWWWWWWW, @rory, in the goal. What the hell went through these players’ minds when they named their players? Nothing could be better for WWWWWWWWWWWW to help the Americans win the Continental Cup this season, as WWWWWWWWWWWW retires at the end of the season. Don’t get too excited; however, because I am not rooting for New York to win it, in fact, I’d like to see the Wolves kick the living shit out of them. But, this is a media spot for New York. WWWWWWWWWWWW was the recipient of the Greg Clegane Trophy in season 92, having the lowest goals against average of 2.15. In season 96, WWWWWWWWWWWW won the Scotty Campbell Trophy for being the most valuable player during the regular season. WWWWWWWWWWWW has a career save % of .925, and is currently not having a stellar save percentage after 10 games, but the season is early and once STZ dials in the team, expect WWWWWWWWWWWW to bump up those numbers, to include shutouts. As the season progresses and the New York American’s get their team chemistry dialed in, its clear that there is nothing preventing them from being a powerhouse and winning the dreaded Victory Cup. Looking at this line up with George Richmond, Big Ol Doinks in Amish, Chris Reynolds Jr, and Maxim Anisimov, leading the pack of forwards; Callum Gary Yanick Janser and Guntis Gavilrovs holding down the fort on defense, and WWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWWWWWWWW covering the goal, it just makes sense for me to have predicted New York to win it all. But guess what, I have never been right! Ten games into the season and the Americans are currently tied for 4th place, but that’s because Toronto has surprised all of us and came out hot with a 9-0-1 record. Calgary is in 2nd with 13 points, and Seattle is 3rd with 12 points. STZ is aware of the situation and has posted an inspirational message to the team, to make the corrections and get on track for a play off run. STZ is concerned about his players staying out of the penalty box, but I have to disagree with him on that account as Amish is the only American who broke the top ten in PIMS; unless of course STZ was complaining that WWWWWWWWWWWW has committed a couple penalties while in the goal. STZ is right when he complained that Simon does weird things, considering that of the five losses so far this season, three have been against league leading Toronto, and another loss was to second place Calgary. The other loss was to the Vancouver Wolves, which was expected, considering that it was the first match up with Gavilrovs’ old teammates, and the Wolves had a score to settle. As soon as Simon settles down the wins and losses for every team will fall into place and there’s a good chance for New York to put up better numbers and move up in the standings. Unfortunately for all the other teams in the North American Conference, New York has the pedigree to dominate the season and lift the Continental Cup in 10 weeks. With four all-stars on the forward line, two all-stars on defense, and an all-star goalie, this team is loaded. There’s a good chance that at least two players on this roster become hall of fame players. It pains me to have written about this team because they are Vancouver opponents, but I have to admit that I learned some things about the New York American players. They are a quality team and have a real good chance of taking it all, if they can manage to get past the Wolves. Finally, if I can get some help from Guntis Gavilrovs and WWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWWWWWWWW to get me high in my VHFL group, and Guntis Gavilrovs, George Richmond, WWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWWWWWWWW, STZ, and the New York Americans, to give me some prediction TPE at the end of the season, I’d certainly appreciate anything you can do! 2048 words

I’m sending a text to that trash too and it wont be pretty. @ScottyP get your shit together. You can let us down, but dont even think about letting @LucyXpher down. Step up. It’s what you do. Bazooka Joe, not that chewed up piece of gum under your 5th grade desk. Even though you were 17.

1. The season has begun (finally). Has you player been playing well so far? It would be nice for my player to have twice as many shots blocked and several more hits and maybe dropping the gloves a couple times by now would be good. 2. What superpower would you rather have? Invisibility or extreme strength? Hmmm. Invisibility could be used in a creepy way, so I’m gonna go with extreme strength. But they both have advantages. 3. St. Patrick’s Day is coming up. Any plans? I have nothing planned for St Patrick especially since I have had to stop drinking alcohol, at least until the next court date. So…. Business as usual. 4. Season started and we just got our first win. Did you celebrate? Since I am crashing this press conference, i did not look at Miami’s games yet and I will say congratulations on your first win. I hope you continue to chip away at the wins. 5. Are you a dog person or cat person? I’m dogs I have nothing against cats or cat people. Well…. Nothing against cat people, but I have very little use for cats, especially the ones that come in our yard at night and shit in the garden and flower beds and then I have to keep our dog from looking for cat shit. Does that answer that question good enough? 6. Does your player have any pre-game superstitions? Absolutely. Right sock, left sock, right skate, left skate, lace right skate, lace left skate. Any variation then I gotta start over.

Why didn’t you post this earlier? I might have had a winning team!!
-
Good luck. Guess it’s between Ruutu and Ninefingers. I vote for @Scurvy
-
@Scurvy Gotta do somehting about that AGM picture. Looks too much like Jay Inslee.

. Talking about training has there been anything that you have focused on extra during this off-season training? What & why? Of course, i put all my tpe into fighting. With Guntis gone someone needs to step up and fight to protect that sissy Ninefingers. 2. Last season we have five player with 100pts; how many will finish with 100pts this season and who? This season is going to be a lower scoring team. Riley Martin might break 100. Logan will be 85. PMB will get 110. Wayne Gretzky is going to get 99. Bollos will get 59 if he’s lucky. Soju is going to score 2 goals this season. 3. Any goals set for your player this season? What is it and why? he’s going to get a shitload of shots blocked. That and hits are my favorite stats but he’s not a hitter for some reason. 4. How do you think the Vancouver Wolves season will go? We either catch fire or it catches fire? Explain? We’re gonna piss off all the other teams by dominating the season and winning the cup. 5. VHFL groups have been announced so do you think you will win your group this season and if you had the first pick who would you pick first overall and why? I’m gonna try to get Ninefingers. If i cant get him then PMB. Or Riley. Then Guntis 6. Predictions are also open and I always find it hard to try to figure who might win what so do you have any advice to help me or how do you fill in the prediction? Explain… I always pick who i think will win and they dont so look at my selections and make sure you pick someone else. 7. Bonus: Oh, We need a new assistant captain this season; who do you think we announce and will the AGM/GM remember to announce it before the start of the season? Wayne Gretzky fo course. How can you look for anyone else to help lead the team?

1. The season starts Wednesday (finally). Has this off-season seemed especially long to you? Well, getting bounced out of the playoffs early usually makes the off season drag on, but in the end I’m just looking forward to the new season to start up so that @Scurvy will stop whining in the Vancouver locker room about how long its taking to start!! 2. The NHL trade deadline came and went. Did your team improve at all with the trades? Right now it’s hard to say because it appears that it was done for the future. I’m kind of sad that @Scurvy’s favorite player, Brad Marchand, got traded though and it surprises me Fredrick is gone too. 3. Speaking of NHL trades, what was the biggest surprise trade in your opinion? Guess I should have looked at this question beforehand, but I did get a big surprise when I saw Marchand go and Frederick too. I hope it lights up Pasternak’s ass to get him going the rest of the season. 4. The VHL/VHLM awards came and went. Did you watch the presentation and what did you think of the presentation this year? I thought Lucy did an awesome job. I didnt watch the awards but I was very much impressed with Lucy’s job at the awards. She took it to a new level and has done an incredible job with the awards. 5. 2 players were inducted to the VHL Hall of Fame this off-season with Nico Pearce and Jacob Stone being added. Do you have aspirations for your player or future player to try and achieve a Hall of Fame career? Not really. I would like my player to get a lot more shots blocked and hits, and a butt load of fights. Other than that, as far as any kind of awards, well the Continental Cup is all I want. 6. Would you like to see a VHLM All-Star game? Absolutely. It would be really cool to have that included in the VHL. It would put a little spark in the vhlm and the off season.

1. The Off-season is dragging on and on it seems. Do you find you like the break or does it kill a little motivation? Not at all this time. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery so doing things like typing is slow with one finger. Im looking forward to start of season though. 2. The VHL draft came. Did you watch the draft stream? I wish i had because i like the streaming. There are some good commentators on the streaming. 3. New York drafted both Mantzz and Hughes together. With these to additions and the other moves they made, is NY a cup contender in a few years? I dont want to say yes, but i think you might be right. Of course it depends on whether there are trades that mess it all up. 4. VHLM draft is soon (I hope). We have the 19th pick so far. Any players you think we should grab at 19? I havent paid attention but i think you should draft the most active player available. 5. Are you left-handed or right-handed? I’m a lefty I am right handed but i can play basketball just as good left handed and i can hit a baseball from either side of the plate. 6. It’s a re-build year in Miami and even if your player is not on the roster, will you stay in locker room? I would be happy to get in the locker room to support the team but mostly to give scurvy shit, and since im crashing this press conference i dont expect admission.
