Mexico City is a new team and city for some of you, and for others it’s your second season. How does it feel to either be here for the first time or coming back for a second? It feels amazing to be back in Mexico City, Told many of the other VHLM Gms that Mexico was my preferred spot What are your goals for this season? my Goals this season were to hit new career highs in every statistic and most importantly win the cup with Mexico, This team has given me a shot and I want to repay that The offseason has brought in new management. How does this change make you feel for the future of Mexico City? We brought in a new AGM but still we have the legend Cole who truly is the VHLM GOAT If you had to pick a training partner for this season, who out of your new teammates would it be? Out of the new players? Probably our backup Andrei Vasilevskiy, With a name like that he's got to be set for greatness What’s your favorite animal? - Whales If you had to be drafted, or redrafted today, which VHL team would you want to be drafted by? (This is a great opportunity to look into the VHL teams.) Redrafted?????? No way Id pick anyone but London and Mexico, Two best teams around

First off, Congrats on a great week to the entire Mexico City team. 10 game winning streak is no easy feat in this league and quite an accomplishment. To what do you attribute this amazing run? - Williams, Me , ROSS G 2- At the start of the season, everyone expected the Kings to be more of a defensive team, all the attention on Defense at the draft made everyone think Mexico would be in a lot of lower-scoring games. Yet the Kings lead the league in goals for, What are your thoughts on this? - My thoughts are not a single VHLM GM but Cole scouted proper, My d mans TPE should have shown he was a Two way with offensive upside and Cole saw this and took me even when I dropped from other teams, Williams as well is a wagon on offence buddy is a snipeshow and best forward in the league. 3- There is a battle at the top of Mexico's Conference. San Diego seems to be ( and has always been ) the team to give Mexico a hard time. Would you consider them a direct Rival to the Kings? Or is there another team ( Maybe Miami, Las Vegas, or Houston) that you consider a bigger rival? - There div rivals for first but hounds are the main rivals after last szns finals , us returning guys want the cup bad 4- It's Retro week here in VHL as a whole. But we want to know on a personal level ( PLAYER LEVEL ) who would you consider to be your rival? Are they on your team or playing somewhere else? - My personal rival is Magnus Carlsen on my team as I believe with the Captains C I can lead us to the promised land 5- Don't look now but we are approaching the 40-game mark! That can only mean one thing, TRADE-DEADLINE!!!!! Are you expecting GM Cole to make some moves? If so what moves are you wanting? If not, what? - I think maybe a few but hopefully only some depth as our team has great chemistry 6- It's also that time of the week for the non-SHL life. question. LA Kings ( the "not better than Mexico" kings)put up an amazing fight against Edmonton, keeping the best current player more or less contained. However, they now sit on the brink of elimination. Do you think they can come back and take the series? or is it done for those Kings? ( you know, The ones who are in the Shadow of the Mexico City Kings?) 1- With Mexico City Currently in first in the VHLM, Are you surprised at how fast the Kings have come out of the gate? Or was this expected? -This was expected, This team is a wagon and with my breakout year we will only be better 2- How would you describe the Mexico City Locker room at this point of the season? Any internal Rivalries? -No internal rivalries only winning atmosphere 3- Historically both San Diego and Houston have been a thorn in Mexico City side. With San Diego just 4 points back of Mexico City, How does the team plan on holding them off in the standings? - With my expert defence and Ross G's stud goaltending 4- Mexico City is currently 7-1-2 . They have not been blow-out in anytime and have only blown out 1 team in a 6-0 win. Do you think this is directly related to the drafting Cole did( drafting so many Defensemen) or is this just an adjustment period before the offence starts to blow teams out? - Of course it has to be due to Cole drafting D men, We talked in pre draft and I told him Mexico was my only choice 5- two of the returning platers lead the team in scoring. Justin Williams has 15 points while WJC gold medal winner Heffelfinger has 13. Will they continue to lead the team all season or will we see someone else take the lead? - Lets put some respect on my name for once VHLM , Williams is a star for this team but my breakout year this season will prove why my name needs to be brought up in these talks 6- How was Easter? Did the team do anything as a group or did everyone keep to themselves? Big easter dinner at "Scored 7 goals in a VHL games" house, guys a riot and the boys were loving it

Alex DeLuca is joining forces with CCM Hockey to provide 87 sets of hockey equipment to participants in three Hockey London programs for communities that are under-represented in the game. According to a news release from Hockey U.K the Mexico City Defender and Welland, ON , native surprised eight participants from the three programs with their new hockey equipment via video Monday afternoon. He also announced his commitment to fulfilling the donation of the 87 sets in the new year. "These Kids are absolute beauties and deserve a chance to shine at the game they love " Said Deluca in a interview prior to his video call with the recipients This isn’t the first Deluca has given back to the English sporting community. In March, the 22-year-old donated $50,000 to Special Olympics Great Britain a organization which is close to his heart, "Everyone Deserves the chance to play and showcase there talent and love for this game"

Alex Deluca signed a three-year, $1.5 million contract ($1.15 million average annual value) with London United The contract begins next season. "Deluca loves being a member of London Untited and we love having him," general manager Jacob Carson said in comments tweeted by the team. "It was slower than we would've liked. These things sometimes drag on. We're really looking forward to getting Deluca in town." The 22-year-old defenseman had 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) in 38 games last season for The Mexico City Kings in The VHLE. He is a rookie still yet to make his debut in the VHL however his ten points (two goal, nine assist) in 17 VHLE Playoff games with the Kings in season 87. Deluca is known for his firebrand personality and two way game which the young defender hopes to improve on this upcoming season, Talking with Deluca he told us that, Deluca: Last season was just the start, were gonna make it back to the finals in the VHLE this season and i'm gonna showcase London and Rome exactly the type of player they have coming.
