  8. Answers 1A) LA winning probably. Great Roster and good prospects coming up I think 2A) Prague! Not biased at all 3A) Heavy - The Glorious Sons. The chorus’ guitar riffs are killer! Questions 1) If theres no assigned spots in the locker room, who are you sitting next to? 2) Who do you model your player after? 3) Is your player meeting your expectations this far into the season?
  9. 1) Stockholm being 20 points behind is a little surprising not gonna lie 2) Should go home and practice, taking 2 L's in one day is a little jarring for a roster as deep as this one 3) Defense, Goalie, Offense. A good defense is CRITICAL! offense comes with time regardless and the caliber of your goalie doesn't matter if he's seeing 50 shots a night he's bound to let a few in. You can put a good defense in front of a mediocre goalie and still get by. You can put a good defense behind a mediocre offense and everything will still be fine. You cant put a bad defense in front of a good goalie and expect everything to be ok. 4) The experience is what its all about. I'd rather have a good view to see everything I can. If I wanted a closer view I'd watch the game on tv but if its a concert I'm buying tix as close to the front as possible I don't care if it costs a fortune. Its all about the memories 5) Back when I was in high school we did this thing called Santa's anonymous, Collect donations and fill baskets with toys and food and toiletries for the less fortunate and it was an awesome feeling to be a part of it. 6) Its a common theme that all goalies are weird, but I am too so probably the netminders
  10. 1. I am one of the new faces but I think we got one hell of a roster here and were 3 lines deep all the way through! I think they assembled a great team here and im looking forward to the season 2. I wanna go all the way and i think we have the roster to do it! I just need to stop taking penalties and we’ll be fine 3. I’d say a winter classic between Stockholm and Vasteras held in Balsta. Its pretty much smack dab in the middle of the 2 4. Working and I went on vacation to California for a music festival 5. I’m partial to a pool table. I grew up playing pool with my dad and I miss having a table 6. Rebrand Oslo just because of the rebuild and theyre doing it already anyways, Play for Vasteras, for obviously not biased reasons, and get rid of Cologne because they kicked my ass everytime I played them last season
  11. 1. Whats your go to music genre? 2. If you had to do this kind of forum for another sport what would it be? 3. Do you think your player is performing as expected heading into this season?
  12. 1A) I haven't made the VHL yet but my first season in the M was season 88 2A) My second season in the M was my best season with 66 points in 72 games 3A) Haven't won any trophies yet but I hope to get the VHL equivalent of the Selke when I get there 4A) Currently in my third season probably going to spend one more in the E before I move up. 5A) Bjorkabjorn BjornaBjorkson is one I had a good chuckle at. 6A) I would never want the responsibilities that come with that until I'm a little more accustomed to everything
  13. Storm Warning! New kid in town! What a glorious day for the storm, our main man has made the jump to the E. Coming off a 66 point season in Houston, the former captain of the Bulls organization has somehow stumbled his way to Oslo all the way in Norway. The delinquent from northern Alberta has made himself a household name in Oslo when the storm snagged him with the 18th pick in the season 89 draft. They have taken up the new kid and slapped him on the second line and hoped for the best and it seems to be working out for him so far. He has 18 points in his first 20 games and the seems to be no signs of slowing hopefully. New management has come to the organization after the change that rocked the E its been a rough start which is to be expected after a massive shake up. Although the team is in shambles and have only managed to put 3 tallies in the win column at the time of writing this 20 games deep into the season, the VHLE rookie is showing promise with his ability to dish the puck at the most opportune moments. Even though the youngster is finding temporary success he still has a lot to work on when it comes to developing his game. An above average two way player, he excels at neither causing him to lack a major facet of his game. Lacking goal scoring potential is a major problem so that will have to be addressed and worked into his game. He seems to be quarterbacking the majority of the plays he's a part of so his leadership has progressed tremendously since his first game in the M. With the possibility of the a jump to the VHL lurking next season he has a lot to improve in a short amount time with his main focus being his offensive capabilities. Being a steady TPE earner Toms should have ample opportunity to improve his offensive game before his next jump. Before that bridge is crossed he has to prove himself amongst the ever hungry players in the VHLE. With so much up and coming talent its a sea of competition and the kid is going to have to work his ass off to stand out among the crowd before he gets a chance to hop up onto the Phantoms roster. The E is the perfect place for the rookie to cut his teeth and see what he's made of and I for one cannot wait to watch this ever developing, and possibly HOF, career.
  14. 1) The season just started, how are you performing so far? Is it up to your expectations? 2) What is your expectations for your player for this season? 3) If you could go back in time and watch any goal in hockey history what would it be?
  15. 1. Golf and softball are my go to things in the summertime 2. Its a solid 70-30 split. Once I start hitting my stride and things come more naturally that will probably drop to a 60-40 or an even 50-50 3. I'm bringing a championship to Prague for the party! (probably not but I'm certainly gonna try) But I'd probably bring a sweet sound system for the locker room because music is the most important part! 1. Are you participating in the VHFL this season, if so what pick are you and how do you think you're gonna do? 2. What are your thoughts on the condensing of the E? 3. What are your expectations for your player entering this season?
  16. First birthday here but here's to many more! Happy Birthday VHL
