New York, New York Moments after being named the new GM of the New York Americans, Vince Wong was gifts with many of great items. Helsinki GM Mitch Higgins gifts him with an enormous pan of lasagna, while Davos GM Conner Low surprised him with matching friendship bracelets. Others gave him bottles of wine, cartons of darts, and gift cards, but there was one that really hit the heart of the longtime VHL Player Agent. It was the gift from Calgary Wranglers GM Austin Gow, who gave him the his Netflix Password. Wong raved about it, although limited to the Canadian released, he was still thrilled to be able to watch premium streamable television. It was until late Tuesday night when Wong was halfway through Season 1 Episode 5 of Shameless when he got an error message on his Netflix account. Wong was confused, as he thought the Netflix account was a gift that he could use long term. He never would have started such a long season, had he known the privileges would be taken away because Calgary GM didn't get his way. While many believe this cone of silence was due to Wong not taking a better offer from Calgary, after he had already agreed to another trade. Wong firmly believes that Gow is still bitter about Unassisted walking away from his superteam and winning back to back cups.

New York, New York As the STZ Player Agency was in New York City to announce and celebrate the retirement of their latest VHL superstar, they quietly announced a signing of a goalie prospect out of Sweden. This will be their second goalie signing in a row, as they still have Rhett DeGrath under contract in Stockholm. While scouting in Stockholm they found their next recruit, a staggering goalie out of the Frolunda junior team. Ike Arkander is an American-Swedish player who has lived in Sweden his whole life. He is very raw, talent-wise, but projects to be a potential high-end draft pick, and could be a safe bet to be a VHL starter in the next 3 seasons. Arkander has signed with the STZ Player Agency, and will be subject to this year's VHLM Draft. He will enter into the S57 Draft Class where he is likely to be selected in the first round of the class. There's very little known about this player, as he wasn't on any draft radar for the NHL, but the VHL might have just landed themselves a very surprising steal if Arkander is anything like the other alumni in the STZ Player Agency.
