The unfortunate part is that you would hold DeGrath hostage because you knew the market was shit, so you elevated the price because you knew I was interested. Now you're salty because I did the right thing and put NYA ahead of myself.. and now it's doubley sour because DeGrath is on Davos.. Anyways, you can play victim.. Fact is I never said he was going to be my GM Player, I said I was willing to do that, before I made the decision. When I made the decision I stuck with it, and it was after you hardballed me, so I decided on Arkander. I didn't do anything deceitful, so if that's what you're implying, you're wrong..

Congrats man! That's crazy news, it's wild how things change. I'm sure the news is overwhelming and scary considering things are new.. Still exciting!

In the past, DeGrath wouldn't have existed... Do you understand that Unassisted was my player before 2PP was put into place? Unassisted was my primary player, int he old system I would have ONLY had him, and would have then had no choice but to do exactly what happened anyways...

If it was for that sole reason, you would have moved DeGrath for the market price.. see: OP. Not for 2 1sts lol..

@jRuutu, @Devise pretty much nailed it, and was with me for most of the thought process of what to do to get a GM Player in NYA. Simply put, the easiest way to get a GM in place is to hire from within. That is a commonly known fact, and we've seen many instances where the easier member was promoted than the most qualified. For that reasoning, Unassisted was going to be my GM Player from the beginning. I had entertained the idea of bringing in DeGrath to NYA, but not as my GM Player. However, instead I decided that it was best for NY to rebuild now, as the timing is ideal. To me that shows some strength in the 2nd Player Project, as I decided to put the Franchise before my own personal goals. At the time, I thought DeGrath would be homeless for the rest of his career, and that was the risk I took, even though I've put nearly 800 TPE into him. I'm not a huge fan of the 2PP, but it's not horrible. It's better than the alternative of having no players.. It's of course going to cause a ripple affect and have an impact on trades, but it isn't the reason I made the moves I did this off-season.
