Aelred Leskowsky Forward Points +/- This system is so mean when it comes to forwards. 10 goals to get 1 TPE and same formula for points? How does that even make sense? Nobody will ever score as many goals as points so for the most part, nobody should ever claim for goals unless they don't hit or have terrible +/-. These formulas need to be rethought.

We have to get our act together. Shut down XXX, and score some goals.

Awesome. I never got into these when I was drafted, but I'd love to now.

Minot, North Dakota After VHLM superstar, Simon Tremblay, made the jump the big league, pessimists, haters, trolls, and several analysts were predicting Minot as toast. These skeptics looked at Minot's roster and had little faith in the developing skills of players such as Aelred Leskowsky: a player whose scoring ability left something to be desired after scoring less than 30 goals combined in 2 seasons in the VHLM; a player who benefited from the presence of superior teammates; a player too small to be anything...well big. This season, critics be damned. The aforementioned Leskowsky has equaled his total rookie season goal scoring output with 11 goals in a mere 19 games, a fantastic spike in production. He also has 12 assists, a testament to his willingness to share the puck. His defensive play has been every bit as solid as it was last year, the season when he played a key role on one of the league's best special-teams. As for the size, he has been playing as if he were 6'4", piling up over 50 hits in this short space of time. If all that is not impressive, Leskowsky also regularly double-shifts, playing centre and wing. Now fans and analysts are wondering: what is Leskowsky's ceiling? When people saw him as a potential scorer whose raw talent outweighed the negatives in his game, he proceeded into his sophomore season as one of the league's best defensive forwards (as well as defenceman). Now, when people began to see him as a penalty-kill specialist and elite defensive player, he starts to display an offensive edge still without sacrificing anything on the backcheck. Leskowsky is beginning to look more and more like a fantastic two-way player who will one day make his mark in the VHL. As for a ceiling? The ceiling for Leskowsky is pretty much however high he wants it to be. A comparison for Leskowsky would be Toronto Maple Leafs' (NHL) prospect Frederik Gauthier, a fantastic two-way talent who risk factor is so low that his floor is third-line defensive specialist. Leskowsky can be compared so because he pretty much guarantees the Dynamo a solid defensive-forward in a worst case scenario. Somewhere in Davos, somebody is gleefully rubbing his hands together and celebrating in a drunken fashion.

After a hiatus, thanks to terrorists/hackers crashing the VHL's database system, Leskowsky is ready to start the new season; his 3rd as a pro. With Simon Tremblay, Minot's incumbent superstar, going to be playing in the VHL for the Calgary Wranglers, it is going to the Dynamo prospect, Aelred Leskowsky, to step up and replace some of that production. Leskowsky so far has been primarily used in more defensive roles such as defenceman and a penalty killer. He flourished in those roles and was, last season for the Gladiators, possibly their best two-way player. He was also arguably their best player in the playoffs, killing penalties, chipping in some offence, and making a physical nuisance of himself. Think Dave Bolland without the chirping. A former 2nd round pick, Leskowsky is starting to make some noise. Look for him to take his game to the next level.
