  1. Nice, I play it but since I don't intend to spend any money on the game the announcement probably won't do that much for me
  2. Wranglers Americans Express Vikings
  3. An internal solution with a veto right for the blue team should be the usual method. When there are no good replacements available though and a GM steps down without naming a successor then I think there should be an open applications process instead of the system we have right now where the BoG more or less arbitrarily considers a few people they like and then chooses one of them.
  4. Yup, word count. Quality on the other hand usually doesn't get graded. Just as an example, you can write a long article that pays you $4 million. Each week you can buy one training, either a +5 one for $1M, a +3 one for $500k and a +2 one for $250k. Most people do +5 or +3 trainings so this article alone could pay for your training for 1-2 months.
  5. Not quite, you basically are more flexible when it comes to when you have to write (or do graphics) and how much work you put into it. You can write like one huge article and live off the money of that one for weeks if you want for example. There is also contract money + other ways to earn money, so in general it requires a little less work and doesn't require you to be as consistent in your writing as the VHL. The main differences between the two leagues probably lie withing league and roster structure though.
  6. Multi-part deals in general. I'm sure that when this league was set up (and when you look at hockey leagues in general) that nobody had planned for deals like this to happen, but after a while GMs started to realize that splitting their deals up into multiple parts can give them a competitive advantage so they started doing it. It's not forbidden and the league hasn't taken any measures against it, but it sure isn't what people envisioned when setting up the rules, that's why I see it as a grey area.
  7. I don't know how often you want me to repeat it but that simply is the inherent risk of a multi-part deal. As long as it is not posted it is not official and it can always fall through. You can't take the pros of a muti-part deal (managing you cap, getting access to draft picks from later seasons) without the cons (the risk of the deal falling through/one side backing out). Well apparently you trusted him enough to make a multi-part deal with him, so why should the blue team be responsible for this but not you?
  8. That's exactly the kind of risk I'm talking about, you expected a GM to stay at least a season and you were wrong. You take advantage of grey areas and loopholes in the rules and have every right to do so, but the league has no reason to protect you or feel sorry for you if it goes wrong for once.
  9. I appreciated it quietly
  10. I just think that these multi-part deals have become so common over the last few seasons that some people have forgotten that there is a risk to them as well and maybe it's healthy that they have a little reminder now.
  11. Guess what guys, that's what can happen when doing a multi-part trade ... People love to split their trades up into multiple parts to circumvent the cap and draft pick restriction and all that but forget that there can also be a risk to it when the other GM just says "Nah, I changed my mind" or when the GM himself is replaced. Tough luck, you tried to trick the system but got tricked yourself, deal with it.

  14. Yeah I just donwloaded the PS+ version of Driveclub only to see that PS-Plus is down once again...
  15. Haha that's pretty much exactly where I was . I was at the very beginning of sen's fortress, but it felt like I had done a bit of stuff elsewhere that I wasn't supposed to get to until later.
  16. Which area are you at in Dark 1?
  17. The "vanilla" Dark Souls 2 basically just with the regular patches, no DLCs or revamped edition like the one that just came out. I played Dark Souls 1 for a bit a few years ago, I'd say the first third of the game, but then lost interest, not exactly sure why. Never played Demon Souls though and I haven't gotten Bloodborne yet either, I'm just such a shield & turtle guy, I'm afraid that I'll fail miserably once the take away my shields Edit: Okay I just now realized that this question was directed to Phil It was a great game and I know that many people think that it's the weakest installment of the series, so I'd definitely suggest checking one of the Souls games out. I've thought about giving Warframe another try for a few months now, played it all the way when it was still in beta and thought that it was pretty meh, but a lot seems to have changed since then and I was pretty surprised to hear that it has become such a huge success.
  18. I finally finished Dark Souls II last night . Bought the game when it came out over a year ago and played it pretty much until the final boss, then went on vacation for a week and never got back into it for whatever reason. Decided to re-visit the game this weekend and managed to beat Nashandra in just a few tries... Still have one or two optional bosses left (the dragon and the dark lurker I think), probably gonna try to beat them first and then take a look into NG+.
