The Lying GM

Managers… the people who are supposed to help you learn and grow as a player. Most will do exactly that. Except for one. Zetterberg, the General manager of the Mississauga Hounds does little of that. Maybe he’ll encourage his players every once in a while if we are lucky but more than that he loves one thing and that thing is to lie to his players as often as possible. It’s almost a daily occurrence at this point that he lies to us. And well by us I mean me and occasionally another person on the team. Let’s prove this with the following evidence…

 

Evidence one happened Tuesday, April 20th. When asked how many games left in the season Z said 4. Only to say minutes later that it was 5, not 4 games left in the season. The amount of games left in a season is hugely important for players' mindsets and this liar could have had immeasurable effects on the team's play. 

 

The next piece of evidence comes on April 1st, 2021. Yes, April’s fool's day so a little joke is expected. However, Z took the joke way too far. He would continue to lead players on that they had been traded for over 24hrs! This sent the locker room into shambles trying to understand what was happening. He even went as far as to add new “players” into the locker. If anyone spoke out about how this was a fake trade he would mute the player and delete their messages. He showed no mercy on anyone who would try to warn other players that it was fake because he was trying to save himself. This should be unacceptable behavior by a GM.

 

One of my final pieces of evidence happens so often that I swear it’s just part of mine and Z’s normal conversations at this point. He loves to constantly tell me that he is going to trade me. See the thing is it’s so unbelievably often that it’s not even like an “oh he might actually” no it’s just him sticking up to his old lying ways to me every single day without fail. I think he thinks he is being funny but like in no way shape or form is it funny to me. Let’s not forget the very specific time that Z told me he was going to trade me and that it was all this other person's idea. I honestly don’t even know if Z expects me to fall for these lies or not any more or if he just does them for the sake of doing them.

 

These pieces of evidence prove that Z loves to lie to players on his team. It is a constant, ongoing, never-ending thing of Z lying. It seems to bring him some sort of pleasure seeing our reactions when he lies to us. It’s his form of torturing us in the locker room.

I 100% support this. I have no idea what DA and Acyd were thinking. I fired Z from being my AGM for this exact reason. Like Geez when this guy going to get fired.
