1. Personally, January 31! No reason to keep it up for the next month but it's pretty sitting there! 

2. None! As long as it's not nothing, why should there something that someone doesn't like? If you don't need it, you can always donate it to someone! I guess that'd be my way of thinking I guess? 1. I was completely shocked to go #1 overall, but I'm excited about it. It's interesting to try to figure out who the contenders will be after the draft, because so many teams are headed so many different directions, but I think the two teams who missed the playoffs will be teams to watch out for in S97.

 

2. Yes, because I've tried to get a machine in the gym in the beginning of January and it's a nightmare, but it doesn't seem to stick for most people.

One thing I'd point to in particular is LA's ability to stack up four first-round selections in this draft. It isn't a particularly huge draft, which means that things could go either way when you've done that. What LA did to get into their current state (lose all their top players without selling for assets, instead choosing to wait for them to retire) is something that teams like Prague and Malmo should already be watching to find out how they ended up with those draft assets. From this point, their big draft haul this season should be an interesting case study in how that's best managed.

Hopefully competing, and also my own starting to get into that "good" TPE range. Last season was expected to be a bit of a retool in Seattle, but those have also historically turned around pretty quickly there. We'll see if the team can turn the corner, and I'll see how much I can play into that.

1. I think you could make it advantageous by providing a morale boost for the team if there's a player with a certain level of checking and fighting, but I don't know how it could really be worked out well enough for it to be worth it.

 

2. It would be cool to see those trophies for WC/WJC. Pro-Am is generally thought to be exhibition in most contexts, so I'm not sure it makes sense there, but definitely for the international tournaments.

 

3. It's really tough because there's already so much that currently exists. The best I could think off is to bring back the Grimm Jonsson.

1. Well, I only have one. So I guess if were talking awards, it would be my Victory Cup with Calgary in S75. 

2. Definitely helps if you're just active and maxing out. Best way to make your player and user known.

3. I think its honestly fairly easy, if you want it to be. If youre trying to be super specific with your choice, could be tougher.

1. I had a great Christmas overall, spent time with family. I got a new Xbox which is great!

2. Well as a Sabres fan, I think it's nothing but despair every season. However, we're finally on a two game winstreak so maybe we can turn it around.

3. I will be staying up for New Years, as I'll be with family in Boston. Usually we just hang out every New Years and drink, so I'll be looking forward to that.

- I would like to see my player to be one of the main forces of the team point wise. My team is in rebuild, so should not be that hard.

- Most likely we will be fighting to get wins and most of the time wont get any, but this is just the beginning of the road.

1. Ricky gets absolutely blasted and then passes out on the plane. He probably thinks he’s magically reappearing in different cities.

2. It depends on what I have access to at the time. If it interests me enough, then I like to go through more of the story wherever else that I can.

3. I’m not sure why it is still a tradition in the modern era but eh to each their own.

1. I've been invited to a couple parties with my girlfriend, and my parents are also having one. I'm trying to go to my parents, but we haven't quite decided where were heading yet.

2. Just get some points on the board, you know. Nothing crazy, just don't do nothing the whole season.

3. Im hoping for around 15 points, maybe 20 if im lucky. Im on pace for about 24 right now, but that will most likely slow down?

1. Hows the start to your season? Is it going any different then expected? I can't complain, I have only 1 point in 4 games but I'm sure the points will eventually start to pile in as I update my player to be more offensively-focused.

I follow my local team, the New York Islanders closely; the team is at an unfortunate point of their core being too old to really contend, and their younger players aren't good enough yet to make up the gap. They had a few great runs last few seasons but now in rebuild mode with only a handful of players and top prospects still a few seasons away

Stock up on picks and draft well. Need to look at forward position for sure!

1. As a former Chicago Phoenix, I hope they win it all. They are led by a fantastic general manager along with some good young pieces to potentially win it all. 

2. I was drafted by the Bears, so I'm going to support the team no matter what. I think they will make the playoffs, but it's too early to say if they're going to win it all.

1. I think their chances are good, but Simon gonna Simon and we'll see where things end up.

2. They could? Anything is possible at this point, but it'll depend on how other teams make move as well as players improving as things go on. Last season in the M, the Hounds didn't have the best start but ended up winning the Founders Cup. Never say never.

3. Just waiting for warmer weather again.

1. I would love to represent Latvia at any international tournament, I've been a part of the World cup for team eastern europe which is cool also. 

 

2. I had some great memories in the VHLE so was sad to see it go, I can't say yet if it was a good or bad decision. I think next time I have a player come up I will be able to answer this better.

Answers

1. Ricky is playing in net great so far this season. He’s played in 16/16 games, has a winning 11-4-1 record, a stellar 0.934 save % and 1.35 GAA. He also has 4 shutouts which leads the VHLM at this moment in time.

2. Ricky plays for San Diego and we are off to a hot start. If it keeps up then we could see some playoff success.. let’s hope so!

3. I hear arguments for either or, but personally I would carb load the day before hockey games except for back-to-back games.
