ANSWERS:

1. If we could add 2 more VHLM teams to the league, would you rather have 2 defunct teams be resurrected or see 2 brand new teams be created?

- Two brand new teams, because it is always fun to have new locations and be able to build new history if you're part of that team.

 

2. If you could create a new VHLM from scratch, where would they be located and what would the team be called?

- I would definitely want to make an European VHLM team as there is none, but we already have a Latvian team (Riga Reign) in the league, so I would go with Germany as they have no teams when in IIHF they quite good and name wise I would call them Berlin Bismarck's.

 

3. What is the top moment for your player this season so far? (shutout streak, hat tricks, fights? etc.)

Funny enough I was just informed that apparently I just did a hattrick, so that is definitely highlight moment so far this season.

1. Yes, I think so. The game is evolving over time to value skill over anything else, and like other elements of the game from the past (the Rover position for example) it is something that will be left behind.

3. I would like to reach the Hall of Fame as a player, it's something I've never done before with a VHL player and is certainly one of my ultimate goals in the VHL.

1. I feel like it's fair, to be fair I don't have much of a reference from irl hockey or the previous update scale, but I think the way the updates are, it's fair for all users! I haven't seen much complaining about it in the VHL discord either so that's a big plus!

1. Right now, I think the league is a bit hurt by some droughts in LA and in the VHLM in Halifax. I think it could hurt the league by making players more apprehensive of some places, but I actually think it helps. You wind up with dedicated guys like @SMYLS4 determined to help their team eventually win their first Cup, and on the flip side, I feel the same way about LA. I feel like with the phenomenal draft class they've had and the success we will have in the near future, that drought could come to an end soon.

2. I'm not sure if one exists or not, but I could absolutely see a baseball sim league being extremely popular. Baseball is as pure of a numbers game as you can get, and I think hardcore baseball fans (even more so than myself) would probably thrive on that.

3. At the moment, being just a prospect and a kind of underperforming VHLM player, probably would only devalue the paper they're printed on, BUT there could be a time where they could do fairly well at a VHLM Charity Auction. It could be something the league could consider. Sell a rookie card for any of @Beketov's players at the charity auction and it could maybe do some numbers.

1. I’m pretty sure i predicted Vancouver winning it this season and so far they are doing really good- can definitely still see them winning the Continental Cup.

2. I think we need 2 more VHLM teams and it would be cool to bring at least 1 E team back as an M team. As for the other, I want to see a Quebec team come into the league so that will be my answer: Quebec City.

3. I’m optimistic about Ricky- he has been 1 of top goalies, possibly even THE top goalie in the VHLM this season. Here’s to hoping that continues.

1. My player has been doing alright. I'm on a team that has lower scoring, so my players overall points will be down.

2. As I am a GM, I would be upgrading the team at TDL to give them the best chance to win the cup. I would upgrade the depth.

3. Probably Spiders. I don't like spiders at all, they creep me out.

1. I would like to see a style attribute. How stylish a player is = more confidence which results in more goals. seems fair.

2. I think you need a solid combination of both for a team to be truly great. You can have a bunch of star players but if they don't work well together then what is the point.

3. Helsinki, they just never seem to be able to find the right matchup against other teams for seasons upon seasons

 

1. If you could relocate one vhl team what team and where would they go? Why?

2. If one line is underperforming but another line is doing really well, do you switch up the lines or do you keep them the same? How would you approach that situation?

I've always felt like the giant block of "PHOENIX" text over the Chicago logo is stupid and unnecessary. I'd highlight this by moving them to Phoenix and keeping the logo the same; maybe I'll call them the Firebirds or something. If people think that's stupid, then I'd agree (even though I do think it's funny) and point out why.

Depends on a couple things. I personally feel like STHS is super random and having the lines set up in a certain way isn't necessarily what leads to players performing certain ways; a lot of it is really just randomness. The things it does depend on are overall team performance and player satisfaction--if I have nothing to worry about with either of those, then I don't care what the lines are doing specifically.

1. He's doing okay; especially for a Rookie jumping straight from the VHLM to the VHL without an overager season in the VHLM. I hope that he'll be able to stay in ROTY contention, but it's gunna be tough.

2. Ban discord (lol). I'm kidding, but I honestly don't know. I feel like the VHL has always thought that there could be "more activity", when in actuality its super tough to do that.

1. I think my player's doing just fine for his barely over 200 TPE self! i think that with a bit of work he could be a lot better, but for right now, he's doing great for my expectations!
2. I don't know, I usually come on every day to check when TPE has been added to my TPE balance and use it, then wait until next week!

All rumours point to NY Rangers but apparently that fell through. I dont know teams cap space but could see the Devils or Stars maybe taking a shot at him.

Yes definately by points. Some seasons one conference has multiple teams within a few points of each other and the other conference there is 20-30 point gaps between wildcard and playoff teams. Honestly I think we should have just one conference all together.

Would definately go for the win based on his determination. Don't think he would win but definately not the first one out

1. Totally not Trade Deadline at all.  To be honest, my guess probably would have been something around something that you would change about the league.

 

2. I don't hate it honestly but ultimately I do like having the European and North American clubs separate, just cause it just makes sense in my brain that way.

 

3. Free in the front row easy.  I can usually hold it for 5-6 hour drives whenever we visit family, so I don't think that would be all that difficult.  And I can eat and drink before the game...all good with me!

1. Maybe, it'd be fun but, I feel like it'd be a bit more work for the people who write up things for the VSN since there's a lot going on around the trade deadline, but if they were up for the task, then I'd say sure!

2. Video games. A lot of them! That, or try to work on one of the many hobbies I have!

3. Any chocolate! Sour food too, but that's mostly for when I'm better! Chocolate is amazing though!
