Daniel Janser 2,169
Swiss Central Gazzette (Marcel's stats/Daniel's stats) The Jansers played four games apiece since last we reported from their overseas adventures. Find our summary of these games as follows: Marcel @Morcar80 and the Hounds first steamrolled Saskatoon in a no-contest game 10-0. In good old hockey tradition, this means Arpa @16z(for his shutout) and Bushtit @Esso2264 (for the tenth goal of the match) owe their team a crate of beer sugarfree decaf soda pop each. The goals were scored by Eli @Elijah (Fong's Son)(Yurov, Brillant), McMuffin @Ente2997(Lamb, Teekirque), Teekirque @Mongoose87(Janser, Lamb) in power play, Teekirque (Janser, Bushtit) in power play again, Bushtit (McMuffin, Teekirque), Bushtit (Teekirque, Lamb) in an other power play, Brillant @dart (TenIQIsGod, Yurov), Lamb (Teekirque, McMuffin), Lamb (Bushtit, Teekirque) and as already mentioned Bushtit (Lamb, McMuffin) with his third of the game. The three stars were entirely recruited from the Hounds (to absolutely no-one's surprise). Teekirque (2g/5a), Bushtit (3g/2a) and Lamb (2g/4a) were selected for the podium. Arpa obviously had a clean sheet and bested Saucey @ToooSaucey(.783) by a country mile. The Hounds' penalty kill was impeccable (7/7) and the power play quite efficient (3/10). Marcel was noted with 0g, 2a and +0 In the following rematch the Wild put up more of a fight and won 4-2. It appears that the Ontarions were hungover exhausted after their drinking spree following the first taxing match The Wild went in front early and lead the game 3-1 after the first period. Lamb (Zubov, McMuffin) and McMuffin (Bushtit) were successfull for the Mississaugan team. The three stars were Robbie @Robbie the Robbie (2g/0a), Jackson @Slick (1g/1a) and Quill @GoldGear88 (1g/1a). Arpa (.778) had one of his weaker days and clearly lost the tending competition to Dubnyk (.941). The Hounds' penalty kill was ok (4/5), their power play ineffective (0/3). Marcel had 0g, 0a, -1, 1 hit, 3sb The next game was against Marcel's former team the 21st and ended in a 7-1 win for the Ontario team. The Hounds came out hot from the locker room and lead 4-0 by goals from Jeffers @Tophdaddy(Janser, Bridgers), Bushtit (Janser) in powerplay, Ivanovitch @Mikayev Ivanovitch (Janser, Bob) and Bushtit (Lamb, McMuffin) before even the first half of the first period was done. The 21st was able to pull one back with only 21 seconds in the period left. However, Mississauga replied with three consecutive goals by Bushtit (Teekirque) in power play, Eli (McMuffin, Bob) in power play again and Bob @M0XI (Bridgers, Janser). The third period came and went without a goal being scored by either side. Bushtit (3g/1a), Bob (1g/2a) and Janser (0g/4a) were named the three stars of the night. After 22:52 minutes and an abysmal saving rate of .667, McGleiss has had enough and asked to be relieved by Wumbo (.931), Arpa (.889) on the other hand played through. The special teams almost reached perfection with 3/4 (power play) and 3/3 (penalty kill) respectively. Marcel logged 0g, 4a, +3, 1 hit and 1sb The fourth and final game was against Halifax again and was won with the final score of 4-2. The Hounds scored a brace by Jeffers (Janser, Bridgers) and Teekirque (Bushtit, Lamb) within the first 2:14 minutes. Halifax answered with a double tap of their own to tie the game 2-2 for the first period. In the second, Mississauga scored two back-to-back goals by Bridgers @GrittyIsKing (Janser, Jeffers) and Nine @NineIQ v2(Eli, TenIQIsGod). The third period was mainly filled with the Hounds husbanding their lead. The three stars of the night were Bridgers (1g/1a), Jeffers (1g/1a) and Janser (0g/2a). Arpa (.926) outperformed Wumbo (.810) by a significant margin. The Hounds power play was weak (0/2) but the penalty kill was very good indeed (8/9). Marcel was reported with 0g, 2a, +2, 1 hit, 1sb Daniel's first game was against the Vikings from Stockholm and ended in a 8-3 defeat. The Storm goals were scored by Sprout @Liberty_Cabbage(Knale) on a power play, Knale @HatrickRoy (Pandora, Sprout) again with a man advantage and Chiang @nurx(Knale, Sprout). The three stars were Colors (3g/2a), Monster (1g/3a) and Craig (0g/3a). Fletcher @DragonFire420 (.873) was outclassed by Bustard @williamirc(.921). The Storm's power play was very decent (2/5) but the box play was a tire fire (3/6). Daniel had 0g, 0a, -3, 2 PIM (Roughing, no effect on the score), 6 hits and 3sb In the second encounter the Norse were facing off the Express, which resulted in a 6-5 win. Cologne lived up to their name and scored two goals within less than two minutes from the first draw. But Oslo replied with four consecutive goals by Pandora @PandaBearD25(Janser, Upton), Sprout (Chiang), 3rd @Jeffie43 (Upton, Janser) and Sprout (Chiang). Cologne then tied the game at 4-4 with two back-to-back goals of their own. Afterwards, the teams took turns to score with Storm starting the proceedings by Knale's (Sprout, Chiang) goal and with the final goal of the match Sprout (Knale, Chiang) decided the game, when Cologne's Zucarello served 2 minutes for Hooking. Fletcher (.896) was slightly better than Fleury @Kuba-Fleury(.885). The Storm's power play was okay (1/5), the penalty kill had room for improvement (4/6). Daniel logged 0g, 2a, -1, 4 PIM (Interference and High Sticking, the latter leading to a goal against) and 2 hits The third match was against Istanbul and was lost 7-5. Oslo scored the first two goals of the match by Janser (Upton, Pandora) and Chiang (Sprout, Knale), before the Wolves turn the game into a 3-2 lead before the first intermission. In the second and the beginning of the third, Istanbul scored four consecutive goals, before Oslo in the shape Sprout (Chiang, Knale), Knale (Chiang) and Chiang (Knale, Toon) in power play pulled three goals back. Alas, this final sprint was not enough to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. The three stars of the game were awarded to Zabastovka @DarkSpyro(2g/2a), Chiang (2g/2a) and Tsarov (1g/3a). Fletcher (.892) outperformed Kloxified @Kloxified (.865) in the Red Wolves' net, but could not stop wave after wave of Istanbul players peppering his crease with shots. The Storm's power play was decent (1/3) but the box play lackluster (4/7). Daniel was reported with 1g, 0a, +0, 3 hits and 3sb The final match was against Stockholm and was a 5-4 win. The first period was a 1-1 tie, with Chiang (Sprout) being successful in power play. The second period was a 2-2 tie, the teams taking turns in scoring. 3rd (Upton, Pandora) and Sprout (Chiang) found the back of the net for the Norvegian team. In the third, Janser (Toon, Upton) and 3rd (Knale, Sprout) in power play, whereas Nezuko scored against his former team mates. The three stars were 3rd (2g/0a), Sprout (1g/2a) and Dropper @Jamomayo (1g/1a). Fletcher (.931) had Bustard's (.875) number. The Oslo power play was efficient (2/6), the box play (3/6) not so much. Daniel had 1g, 0a, +2, 3 hits and 2sb to his name.
