Ledge 1,131 Posted January 4, 2022 Share Posted January 4, 2022 So it's been talked about for a while, and I just saw some sort of spelling bee thing on Sportsnet, so I decided I'd finally be the one to kickstart a VHL spelling bee. It involves 4 rounds of VHL members trying to spell the names of VHL players. I've already made a list, which I'll send a link to below, and I'm looking for critiques, such as if a name should be moved up or down a level. I tried to use players who were either active or just recently inactive, and made some tiny exceptions for some awesome names. Please post in this thread if you'd like to sign up for the spelling bee. I'll probably make a discord server where we can discuss times, rules, and logistics, so just post in the thread and I'll add you to the list. Shindigs 1,771 Posted January 4, 2022 Share Posted January 4, 2022 Paul Atreides, Gunnarwolfe Vomacka and Ove Dyrdahl seems excessively high. As the first is someone we all see on the leaderboards enough to make a household name. The second kinda has the same issue but for the M. Also not that crazy, compared to others in the same timer. And Ove Dyrdahl is just basic, but that may be cause I'm Swedish. After come consideration I think you're right with Atreides and Vomacka, but I might need some other non-swedish tongues to attest that Dyrdahl isn't difficult first .
