Toast 887 Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 As we all recover from the concerning amounts of food we have consumed over the weekend (as long as you're from Canada anyway) it seems to be a good time to recall the first 20 games that have gone by so far this season. So in line with the Canadian Thanksgiving, this Power Poll will be finding what members are most thankful for so far this season! Looking at the season so far there are quite a few moments that could be brought up in response to this, but we'll narrow it down to a few things that have been highlights so far. The New York Americans dominated the league with their ridiculous win streak, but as everyone saw coming... all good things come to an end! Following a win streak that was pretty dang impressive, the Americans dropped three straight. They seem to be getting back to their old selves, but were you thankful for the losing streak? What about Niklas Lindberg`s domination of the scoring throughout the league? The veteran has over a two point per game average with his 39 points through 19 games thus far. Will he be able to keep up the fantastic chemistry he has with a certain rookie? Going into the season all the talk surrounded the Express' first two picks from the draft, O'Malley and Richardson. One rookie has stood out miles above the rest though, and he is Tyrone Williams. Williams' 32 points in 19 games is some of the best seen from a player in his rookie season and he is more than keeping up with the rest of the league.
