(Marcel's stats/Daniel's stats)

After a long season the Janser brothers enjoy their off-time pursuing different interests. Daniel is participating in the S88 edition of the ProAM Tournament, dressing for the Bangor Beavers. Marcel on the other hand, spends some time fishing on Kurt's yacht.

This newspaper dug a bit in the draft records of the S81 class and found the following interesting facts:

- From the 27 players drafted ahead of Marcel, only eight have a cup ring (Nezuko, Miglaskems, Meridius, Hogan 2, Cheese, D. Janser, Leduc and Preobrazhensky), none of them has two.

- Mulds has decided to play in the VHLE after seven years without a title in the VHL.

- Sanderson has also taken his play back to Europe (albeit after only five seasons)

- Chiang has decided to retire early, after winning the Scott Boulet Trophy in their final season.

- Irish netminder Byrne never made the jump to the big show and hired their skills out in Europe in several franchises over their career.

- Former Wrangler (where they had a career season) Vladovechsenkchushkin also decided to hang up their skates prematurely.

- Left Winger William Groves called it quits after their final season with Riga in S85.

- Connor Johnson never left the VHLM and retired in S81.

- Finnish Goalkeeper Juha Jarvinen did not pursue a professional hockey career beyond S81 and never dressed for the Riga Reign who drafted them at 22nd OA (read: account banned for being a multi).

- Calgary prospect Ragnar Hagstrom was caught using performance enhancing substances (read: also banned in the wake of the 2021 Holidays Multi-infestation).

- Cameron Elsby, Helsinki's pick at 25, played last season for Chicago, albeit in a rather supporting role. They dressed for Vasteras together with Marcel in the S82/S83 seasons.

- Marshall Maxx gave up their dreams of a VHL career after the S81 season.

- Swiss Defender Janet Snakehole decided to pursue other career opportunities after the S83 with Vasteras, where they patrolled the blue line together with Marcel.

After this excursion into the past, we move back into the present where the Bangor Beavers are topping the standings with a 6-0-1 record. Daniel is leading the charge with 16 points, good enough for third behind Yasilievich with 21 points and Nico Pearce with 19 points respectively.

Here are his full stats in the ProAM Tournament:

7gp, 6g, 10a, 16pts, +2, 6 PIM, 17 hits, 5sb, 3ppg, FO% 60.44, 1 First Star nomination
