:s30nya: New York vs Chicago :chi:

The first period of the game was one of the most boring periods in the game of hockey, despite both teams taking one two-minute minor, neither team managed to shoot over 10 times in the first period. The second period offered a dramatic moment as Liv Slater got a boarding minor for what looked like a dangerous hit. Unfortunately for New York - they were not able to utilize the man advantage. New York was a far superior team in the second, they had 18 shots to Chicago's 9, we also saw the first goal of the game in the second as Sundin made it 1-0 for Chicago. In the third period, New York managed to make it 1-1 as Matchett evened it out when around six minutes were played. The third period was the total opposite of the first period, we saw multiple penalties and both teams had plenty of opportunities to score, after three periods the game was at 1-1. The winner was found in the OT, New York's Dynamite scored the winner when 4 minutes of the OT was played. Both teams avoided making mistakes, we only saw seven shots in total in the OT. The game ended 2-1 for New York. A deserved win as New York heavily outshot Chicago.
