S96 - New York Americans Captains

 

The New York Americans are proud to announce their S96 Captain Group. After losing their Captain Jasper Davis after the S94 Off-Season, the Americans went without a Captain in S95, and rather went with a set of captains - however, this season we will be announcing the 46th Captain of the New York Americans. Before that, we would like to announce our Alternate Captains.

 

S96 Alternate Captains:

Wayne Gretzky @MubbleFubbles

 

Due to the fact that SimonT does not allow an Altenate Captain to be assigned to our goalie, Wayne Gretzky will wear the A in place. Jebediah BODiA has shown great leadership since being acquired, and has even changed his position this off-season to give the Americans the offensive push they have been lacking for so many seasons. 36W has been our cornerstone since the time I've been here. He's shown flashes of being a big time game stealer - and we look for him to return to form and show the world that 1000+ TPE in the goalie position isn't a complete waste of time. Gretzky has been a hell of a player for us. We drafted him with literally 30 TPE to his name, and he looks to proved that The Great One still has what it takes to win the big one.

 

The boys are BACK, and it's never going to be over, not ever.

Callum Gary Yannick Janser @Daniel Janser

 

Please join me in Congratulating our newest Captain of the New York Americans. Janser has been a leader and a professional within the Locker Room since the moment he was selected 1st Overall by the Americans in S91. His belief in the team has never waivered, and it was only a matter of time until he wore the C. Janser has proven that he is one of the more elite Defenders in the VHL, and the Amercians believe that Janser will help lead this team to places they haven't been in a very long time.
