Battling for the top of EU conference. Our LR is very diverse. The three women of our team have their corner, whatever makeup stuff they got going on That is unless Antonia Bucatini @CowboyinAmerica is in another room making out with the other Italian of our team, Gianfranco Del Rocco @Victor. As captain, I once had to tell those two focus on hockey, but they can’t help themselves. At least they try not to disturb others too much. Mina, Felicia and Antonia seem get along well. @Baozi Then we have the big green guy, Grimgor Ironhide @FrostBeard. He brings the best vibes. The Orc’s presence alone is demanding. Keeps people in check. But once you get to know Grimgor, he’s a sweet, caring dude at heart. But he can’t change his nature and WAAAAAGH’s must and WILL ring loudly all throughout the arena. Random WAAAGH’s are not uncommon. We also have a literal moth playing hockey for us. As moths tend to do, they have some issues on focusing on hockey, with all rather aggressive lighting on ice and stuff. Managing and making sure our lighting conditions around the facilities are just right is extremely important for Sunset Moth @McWolf. Player safety is important. Then we have me (Taavetti) and the boys, Pastanap, Tsunami and Desjardins. Lads having a good time. I tell myself I’m just one of the boys, but sometimes it’s tough, being the captain and all that. Responsibility which I take seriously. @Vice @Jubis @Anthique While not officially part of the roster, somehow Blaze Thunderstrike finds a way to pop in once in a while… in Davos. Despite playing across the world in the VHLM San Diego Marlins team. @eaglesfan036 When it comes to goalies, well, they’re just a bunch of weirdos no matter what. Aleksanteri Kaskiniemi-Kekkonen is the only other Finn on our team, which has helped me connect with him. Still a weirdo though. Our backup, THE MIGHTY ICE WIZARD is also a weirdo. I believe they might be an actual, real wizard, with how they’ve played and acted. I think. @Snussu @Royski We just had our 14 game winning streak come to an end and everyone is roaring and ready to get another huge win streak going. Some are literally roaring, looking at you, Mr. Grimgor Ironhide. Sometimes as captain of the team, I join in on the WAAAGH’s. It’s good for you, I have learned. As a whole this season has been great so far. Our record through 61 games is 39-16-6, 10 points behind Malmö who are running away with it at the moment. Lately we have been on a bit of a slump, the sims have been a bit unlucky and bumpy. Our group has one clear thing we need to improve, penalty minutes. We take a lot of them. Some of it might be Grimgor’s influence. Not even Gianfranco has been able to calm down Antonia! She has 149 PIMs. Or maybe the two romantics just heat each other up. Who knows. The expectations are high for this group. And I expect us to meet and exceed them. Making the finals and coming short last season fuels us. We’ll make it back there, mark my words.
