Boomcheck 161
The Seattle Bears look a little bit different. Sucks we lost Kurri to free agency too but I wish him luck in his new home, kind of. We drafted the great Pablo Escabar but I think our most important haul was that of James Faraday. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure where I would be to start the season and neither did some of the other roster players. I'm glad that the team decided to focus on winning and I really think we can challenge Quebec and knock them down. We ft people under the cap decently enough and i've taken a pay cut at this point. I think we will make our first playoff appearance since our rebuild commenced. We should be competitive for at least two to three seasons so that will be a nice change of pace. We will honestly challenge Quebec now and like I said before, i'm not afraid of them. The real question is if i'll put up 30 goals again. I sure hope so. Advantage 2,891
The issue that remains for Seattle is addressing the center issue. It is definitely the most important forward position and often it appears to be the team's with the best center duos that have the most success. S42 Cologne Express -> Robin Gow, Thomas O'Malley S41 New York Americans -> Tom Slaughter, Jody 3 Moons S40 Riga Reign -> Niklas Lindberg, Robin Gow S39 New York Americans -> Tom Slaughter, Wesley Kellinger S38 Davos Dynamo -> Naomi Young, Davey Jones The Bears have no first line centers and perhaps the more troubling part is that neither of the centers in the current top two slots, have good builds. Tbh you have a really valid point here but I think we've got good depth and some good looking wingers. (I hope we can match them but we'll see. I'd like to think we've got them beat in the goaltending compartment at least. And...you might have the better goaltender..but it is certainly not by much. I think you guys consistently sell Waldron short in comparison and I really do not get it. Waldron -> 78, 90, 90, 90, 90, 90, 90 Mikaelson -> 36, 90, 90, 90, 95, 95, 95 (Can improve throughout the season) Kesler 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/19494-checktalk-seattlequebec/#findComment-209847 Share on other sites

Even when Quebec wasn't all too good. I just think from now and the next 2-3 season we'll be competing that Mikaelson is the better option. At least imo.
