So what was the benefit and implication of retiring at the trade deadline vs once the season starts? I would be declared for the VHL S44 draft and S44 VHLM draft? If I wait until the trade deadline then I can declare for VHL S45 and VHLM 44? Essentially, you can have one full season of TPE earnings before you're drafted, or a season and a half worth of earning.
