Devin Sundberg makes Davos fans a little uneasy as the Dynamo head into their first round playoff match up against the Cologne Express. Sundberg, who had a player option for next season has declined it just a day before the playoffs begin. Rumors had been spread around that Sundberg would be declining the option last month to sign a longer term deal with Davos in the off-season. Now there are rumors that Sundberg will take another crack at free agency but most still believe he will sign a 3 season deal as soon as the off-season begins.
Sundberg had an average season but was good enough to lead the Dynamo in scoring with 79 points in 72 GP and with a team leading 34 goals. It's still unclear what Sundberg will do but the way Davos is slowly growing into a championship threat I doubt he jumps ship for the 2nd time in his short career.
