Now, he sits in a box eating half eaten chicken bones and a rats tail that he bought up his buddy Crazy Eyed Ricky. An elite goalie last year for the club who helped mold the way to the cup, is no broke on his ass wearing cargo shorts with shit stains in them. When the VHL media eventually got ahold of him, this is what Campbell had to say regarding his current situation and retirement. "Its bullshit, but I get it. There's no market for a goalie I guess. I don't know. The Express sent out an offer and I appreciate the fact. Currently, I'm just unsure if I want to continue on my career. I have 2 seasons left and one is going to be on a rebuilding club. It blows because it fucks my chances at another cup so I'm considering the fact that this may be it. I either swallow the pill and have one bad season and hope for the next, or call it quits and throw in resumes and McCock Gobblers or Wendy's". So yeah. Unfortunately may retire. Hate to do this to my player. I guess opinions on my next player type would be nice but I'm leaning to goaltender again! scoop 3,425 Posted March 13, 2016 Share Posted March 13, 2016 Honestly, even if you're going to retire, it wouldn't really hurt to sign with a team like Cologne if you'll get playing time. You could still retire/recreate and have Campbell play out this season, unless you don't want to risk having a poor final season rather than going out on a Continental Cup and Shaw Trophy.
