Things are starting to heat up as we close in on the playoffs!

First and foremost we have our year long leaders in the Ottawa Lynx.  What they are doing to the league this year is actually disgusting.  Adam Warlock @Green WHO MIND YOU IS A DEFENSEMAN has 77 goals and 93 assists for 170 points in 49 games.  That's all I have to say about that because that's just insane and it makes me angry.  But they continue to lead the way in all TPE categories.

FINALLY WE HAVE MOVEMENT!!! The Rush over took the Storm in total TPE this week after and impressive 137 jump. Unfortunately it may be too little too late as they are 15 points back of the Storm in the league standings with 2 more games played.  But keep an eye out for this team next year if they manage to retain some of their pieces.

The Storm had a decent updating week, and stand strong in third place across the board. Oslo doesn't really jump out at anyone, but I would be wary of Ivan Morozov @solas of getting hot and carrying this team deep into the playoffs.

The Aces also move up in the standings this week!  Some good updating and the addition of Vernan Dragomir @Velevra has boosted the Aces into 4th place in TPE! (que the parade) Despite the low TPE and having the lowest average TPE of any team, we sit in 2nd place in the standings.  Hopefully with some new additions and the development of the current roster, the Aces will be able to put some pressure on the first place Lynx.

Then we have Saskatoon.

I carry you in my heart Saskatoon.  No updates, last in all spots.  No attractive trade-able assets. Its a long season for Saskatoon which looks to be over already.

Hopefully a strong 1st overall pick next year will turn this franchise around!

As always, thanks for reading.

Best,

The goalie era is coming to an end, isn't it?

@Frank has Marcel St. Laurent on the Aces, and I can tell you he is a HUGE part of the reason we are in 2nd place.  It may not be a flood of goalies anymore, but they're still coming through.

It's over after S53/54 goalies calling it quits.
