1. Hopefully NY wins, Seattle has had tons of success and New York has had way less, so it would be nice for that franchise to win more playoff games. 

 

2. Prauge shouldn't be in the playoffs, so Riga. 

 

3. I don't care who we play, hopefully we play lights out against whoever. 

 

4. 8.5. Its the VHL and for some reason the top regular season teams seem to struggle a bit in the playoffs.

1. I'm late to the party on this one. Seattle deserved this win and they are putting up a good fight against us.

2. I don't think this one really matters as much. I think Malmo is going to take it.

3. I didn't have a preference. Frank has put together a great team that is ready to take on anyone.

4. 10. We have been hitting on all cylinders this season. 5 players with 100+ points and another with 80+ and a goalie second in wins makes a great all around team.

5. 3. They are going to do great, but will be eliminated in the finals.

6. It's not that I don't look forward to it, it just feels like another day.

1.     Eliminated by the Seattle Bears in the first round; so, what happened and who is to blame?

 

2.     So, with an early exit from the play-off what is your player going to do so that we don`t have an early exit next season?

 

3.     I am a bit late setting up the next round of the play-off so who would you like to see win between Toronto & Seattle? Why?

I blame Ninefingers.  Too many PIMS and no where near the offense.  And RIP WHEELER !

Hmmmm. I hate Seattle just cuz and that's where I live but I like Kisslinger so I am torn.  Toronto probably

I like Spartan so I want to say Moscow, but there kinda like the Yankees to me.  Always near the top.  I guess Riga but its 50/49

I am really not sure how that works but if there truly is a morale boost then yes I do have a problem with it.  I understand momentum is a thing but when a truly dominant club loses due to that (if that happens) then I think it needs to be fixed. But what do I know

 

6.     Would you ever call out a GM for making bad trades? Why or why not?  No, it's stupid.  First, I don't know shit but as I saw in the blowup thread of Malmo's trades with Lucy and the crazy posts I saw I thought it was a little bit rude.  I mean we are talking about the team with the best record in the league going for championship and she was getting roasted for not trading away talent that wanted to try for another cup. I can argue she did the right thing by trying for a cup.  She had the talent.  I think there is a bit of a disconnect with GM success and player enjoyment too.  But again, what do I know

1000% agree with this statement. A GM is only successful as his players are and if the team overall is enjoying the experience. It is why I know I don`t ever want to be part of rebuild ever again as AGM or as player!! Rebuilding Vancouver was soooooo boring but in the long run it worked but we also got very lucky!!

1. Everyone needs to take some blame, we got down early 2-0 and although we won 3 straight after, digging a hole never helps.

 

2. Take some time away from the league and game, hopefully be able to get back to Vancouver early next season.

 

3. Would have liked to see Toronto to win, but we now know that didn’t happen.

 

4. Moscow so we could mess with Riga GM.

 

5. According to the media spots written we don’t have a wildcard issue. 
 

6. No, GMs are free to make all the trades they want. Good or bad.

1. Bummer but 7 games we were close, a bounce oe two and we would have won it. I'm still shocked we lost tbh, we are def better than Seattle but that's why hockey is the best sport anyone can win. 

 

2. Probably take steroids so I can injure more players on the other team. 

 

3. I'll go with Toronto because seattle beat us and are jerks for it.

Off Season

Now the long wait begins before any meaningful hockey will take place and since the finals end on a Monday or whatever day it was where you live; does that mean we have a longer wait until the next season starts? I hope not!!

 

1.     Pro Am is just around the corner; did you sign up for the off-season tournament this season? Why or why not?

 

2.     With multiple media post running I haven`t wrote the Vancouver Wolve awards yet so is there an award that you think your player should win this season?

 

3.     I guess I can ask this here would you as the players like to Vote on the Awards this season instead of the past few seasons of me just picking the winners?

 

4.     Season officially rolled a few hours ago so are we expecting a ton of trades and team changes or a rather quiet off season? League as whole rather than the team?

 

5.     Do you expect Vancouver to make a ton of changes this off season? If so what and why?

1. I signed up for the Pro-Am for the first time ever. We'll see how this goes and If i ever do it again. 

 

2. I don't see myself winning any awards this season. I had a decent year, but others on the step stepped up and had career seasons, so the awards should go to them.

 

3. Please don't ask me to vote on anything team related, you continue doing you.

 

4. I was expecting a lot of changes at least for our team with the pitiful salary cap the league rolls out year to year. Not sure about league wise as I couldn't tell you who plays on what team or who even GMs 90% of the teams. I'm on the back-end of my VHL career and don't pay attention to that stuff. 

 

5. Yes, lots of changes, hoping I can avoid those changes myself.

1: I've...Never left Canada So I suppose going to my hometown is always nice.

 

2: New Zealand Baby! Gotta go see the place where Lord of The Rings was filmed.

 

3: Lakes are nice, typically the scenery is pleasant and getting out to camp or something is peak.

 

4: Call me lame but sleeping. Time off is meant to be relaxing and not being stressed about waking up is such a good feeling.

 

5: Mainly just Chicago trades since I was on the team.

 

6: Not that I'm aware of but I'll be tuning in to see who Chicago and Vancouver get.

Maybe I am wrong but this off season seems longer than the past few off season as I am not complete sure that that the Commissioners know how to count or even set a schedule. Thank the gods that others are here to actually run the league!! Does anyone mind the extra week or wait due to get the extra training in? Hey that is a good question to ask since I won`t lie I am having a hard time coming up with questions right now since I think I have only really two thought up as I a waffle on here; I guess now three!!  Either way you know the drill…..

 

1.     Vancouver Wolves awards were handed out a few days ago, Did any of the awards surprise you? Why or Why not?

 

2.     Vancouver Wolves GM secretly disappeared on the nice Hot Springs Vacation without letting anyone know that he was gone. Was this due to not wanting to complicate the off season further since Vancouver finished their off season work early or was this him hiding from other GM around the league hoping that they didn`t notice Vancouver's plans to run a limited roster with bots this season? Explain which one and why?

 

3.     Staying on the Vacation aspect which Hot Springs is the best one that you have visited ever and why? Or if you haven`t visited a Hot Spring before, explain why not?

 

4.     Last question about Hot Springs; does anyone know the difference between Hot Springs in North American versus Japan other than name as they are called Onsen; which makes me think about the Full House twins!! LOL!!

 

5.     In light of the scandalous pictures recently posted of other players in the locker room by another not to be named player; How do you think we should handle the situation and what should unnamed players punishment be? Explain…

2. He was hiding as he was likely afraid the commissioners will likely put a new rule in place banning the use of bots and penalizing people that use them, much like playing your back up a game or two more than allowed. 

 

3. I've never been to a hot springs however my hometown has the Temple Garden Mineral Spa, which has a Geothermal Pool.

 

4. Do you go nude in the Japan hot springs?

 

5. We should ban that AGM from all future locker-room conversations. Oh yes I mean the unnamed person.

Never stayed in Moose jaw as we always pass through and stay in Regina for some reason. I think it has to do with eight hour driving limits so Calgary to Regina is about eight hours or so. Next stop is usually Winnipeg if you are driving across Canada; which is rather fun!!

Correct as they are usually separated into Male & Female baths but there are a few shared Onsens around the country. Also hotels will have private Onsens either for a family or a couple to bath in private together.
