Some Favorite VHL Memories

Me, @Victor, and @Ahma once did a podcast together and talking to Ahma is one of the most entertaining things ever. He sounds like a robot and we refuses to give out even the smallest details about himself, as it took a half hour of peer pressure just to find out one thing about him, which is that his poor lizard died and he was really upset about it  I'm pretty sure the three of us also played haxball together sometime and that was fun too. I also enjoyed when the VHL had an EASHL team, I remember playing with @Kendrick, @Jala, and @DollarAndADream, and @Smarch and we were decent and played some quality Hakstol hockey and it was a lot of fun. Also when I used @flyersfan1453's account to give myself blue team powers for a few weeks, and secretly changed a bunch of words to autocorrect to munk speak. I also made munk a commish and he logged in like 6 months later and was laughing because he had commish powers. That was funny and @Will was kinda upset about that one

We had a pretty good EASHL team. I wouldn't mind going on again in 19 some time. I haven't actually played on my EASHL team in awhile. My teammates and I kind of all stopped playing EASHL as soon as Red Dead came out, and then other games too like Battlefield and Smash Bros. lmao

Yeah, I'd be down for that.

 

I'm usually pretty good, not to brag or anything. I've literally played every NHL pretty religiously since like NHL 2001. Haha. Just these days I don't have the time to play 4-5 games of EASHL per night like I used to.

 

I mean, I probably do have the time, but I'm not as interested in throwing that time into EASHL at least.

I mean...not to brag or anything. I used to play 4-5 games of EASHL per night from...NHL 08 - NHL 11 and was in a Top 50 club for most of that time.

 

Then I went to college and my internet connection wasn't good enough to play online at a "competitive" level

Yep, I did the same thing. Had a club like that too. We're a bunch of NHL nerds. I even got to go to EA and playtest NHL 14 in like a July. Man, I used to play a lot of NHL. Even in high school I'd be up until like 2-3am just doing franchise mode, which used to be called Dynasty.

 

Yeah, I hate how the internet connection fucks you sometimes. Hell, I couldn't tell you how many times I've had a disconnection loss this year in NHL. Hasn't happened in awhile, but for a bit my buddy had bad connections and we lost a lot when I played with just us.

 

But yeah, I'm down to play some time. Possibly this weekend, or a night in the week.

Yeah I was in the basement of my school's library since hardly anyone ever goes in the library, and those who do not have venture into the basement
