To be honest... no clue.  I knew I wanted to be Russian or Slovakian and then just tossing names together. 

 

2) Why drives you as a goalie?

As a goalie you have less dependency on TOI on your GMs and more on their strategizing.  Coming FA you can weigh what would be a best fit for you and have more control.

 

3) Any Pregame rituals you do? Most goalies are superstitious 

AC/DC... the only music permitted near my locker.  If anyone has a problem with it they can let me know... it probably won't change though.

It's difficult to judge expansions in various leagues.  I think the VHL gives them the ability to stay competitive, but little edge to be overly successful (aka Vegas effect) I don't think they will finish last, but definitely not first.

Really see above... Except without that TPE cap, you are talking about seeing them in the bottom half of the league this season.

Very important... I've seen SimonT shred not-ready goalies, albeit I have seen him shred outstanding goalies... just not on a regular basis.  Alot of what happens for a goalie is determined by the defensive strats being used.

Hasek... He had a unique ability to find the puck.  He made flashy saves and wow'd the crowd regularly.  But as a goalie, usually that means you were out of position.

Love it... The leagues with affiliation and their portals makes updating seemless and definitely is why I keep coming back.

Most likely... not.  That is my EFL thing and I can only do non-sense things once per day. lol... But you never know come playoff time.

None really... Bushito... We have our times on EFL.  That grudge is probably carried to here.

Matte black finish... with the punisher logo on the front.  Plain and simple.

Not so much a rivalry... I mean he does his own thing... and it's not good.  Look at the stats.

The team is great... God I wish we could score.  5-2-1 and only have scored 13 goals... tell me how that is even possible.

JTV is a good talker so far... I'm pretty sure a bunch of us are VHL noobs tho, so it is a good mix.

Tijuana... twice.  Somehow made it back.  Was really drunk... Long story.

I'd be down for Riga simply because you are involved my man.  If you are as much of a team dude as you are for the Brigade as you are for Riga, I'd love it.

I did... I took too many history classes in college lol

In the goalie world you almost have to plan on that... I'd have no problem as long as there is a plan in place.

Not really... Don't get me wrong... Amazing goaltenders out there... But with limited spots available, you keep grinding and you will eventually find a starting job out there.

Just seeing stats.  I mean I spent the better part of almost three weeks just gaining TPE heading into the off-season.  Felt like forever, but I get.

Those primary skills are the ones I'm pushing over anything else.  Typically I like a balanced build, but this time I'm having a focus and so far the stats are panning out nicely...

 

4. How did it feel going to Mexico City?

I'm loving it so far... Starting job right out of the gates, but an expansion team is always a little raw.  The group is active though, so I have no complaints here.

 

5. How well do you think you'll do in the VHLM this season?

Right now my stat line is looking great... but It will be interesting how strat adjustments effect the defense in front of me.  Sure we aren't letting pucks in, but we also aren't scoring much either.

 

6. What will you be working on before the VHL draft?

Just continuing to scrap together TPE in every way I can.  Sure it is work... but the quickest way to get starting minutes is to continue to develop and show activity.

 

7. Do you have any interest in particular VHL teams?

None really... I think that comes with being new.  In saying that I also don't have any negatives to any teams either, so it is a good trade off.

 

8. What are some goals you have for your career?

Championships... I'm not at all really concerned with personal accolades. I just want to win.

 

9. What is the hardest part about playing goaltender?

The waiting when you aren't a starter.  Man those are hard seasons... but those who stick with it, truly show their dedication.

 

10. Who is your favorite teammate so far?

All of my defense!  They are doing an awesome job so far!
