1. It feels good to be at the top. 

2. The right mixture of experienced veterans and rising youngsters.

3. Continue. Everything is clicking right now. And all wee need is to continue what we have been doing.

4. I will be disappointed. He as been amazing thus season.

5. I kinda does. But that will change in time.

6. I think it is a wonderful idea to share this top level of the game with the places that produces the talent that make the modern game as great as it is. It absolutely should continued every year.

AK seems good enough. He's trying at least

 

2.  How do you keep yourself occupied on road trips?

 

just trying to sleep and failing at it 

 

3.  Who has been the hardest player to play against for you this season?

 

I don't pay attention to particular players tbh. just trying to score and not focus on who is who 

 

4.  What has been your favorite memory of the season so far?

 

the whole season is a good memory. no matter how we finish it the season would be a good thing to remember 

 

5. What's the message to the team for the final 1/3rd of the season?

 

just keep doing what we do. and don't be discouraged if some losses happens 

 

6. Does Quinn Hughes already have the Norris trophy locked down in the NHL?

 

not paying much attention, but is Makar that far away? and VAN prolly gonna fall a bit so who knows

1. Babay Shrimp has been great thus season.

2. Listen to a YouTube video or just watch the world pass by. I am very used to long car rides.

3. I can't think of an individual player I can think of.

4. Being in the rookie race is my favorite part.

5. Season isn't over yet. Think about the playoffs when we get there. Focus on today.

6. Season isn't half over yet. I wouldn't go that far until the halfway point.

interesting. so many good rosters couldn't click in it fully so this one is a pleasant surprise

 

2.  What's the message to the team going into the final week of the season?

 

just try to keep it going. we're already in the playoffs so no worries

 

3.  Is there any importance in winning the conference, or is it preferred to stay healthy for the playoffs?

 

healthy for the playoffs. though letting Victory Cup go is a meh moment

 

4.  The trade deadline saw no trades - what do you think the reason for this was?

 

no cap/roster space, not much sellers or teams are in generally happy with the way how it goes

 

5. Do you have any big plans this holiday season?

 

nyeh. just a basic xmas and nye celebration and that's it

we're already dealing with it. I don't like it

1. Feels good to start my VHL career off on a high note.

2. Get your form in check for the playoffs. Lets get on an upswing that will carry us to the championship.

3. Given how competitive this conference is, yes there is value in a conference championship. But the Cup is always the end goal.

4. Much of the movement happened in the offseason.

5. I have to be the glue that keeps everyone together. Sister is stressing out over the end of the semester. Brother is going through a divorce. Dad is working as a mall Santa and us stuck with a rental truck until further notice. And Mom is stressing out over all of it. That is my holiday.

6. Al long as we have wood, we are ready for winter.

Feeling very confident. Lots of good vibes within the locker room that's going to easily translate from this season.

2. Are you happy with your performance in the reg season? 

As the AGM I'm happy with the team's performance as a whole. Put together by a well respected GM with a major turnover in the offseason.

3. Do you think we're one of the favorites for the cup? 

Absolutely - we definitely will have it tough with Davos but anything is possible with Simon.

4. Predict the Riga playoffs MVP. 

Henry Tucker Jr - best goalie in the league.

5. who is your favorite Riga teammate?

AK for sure - he does it all.

6. do you already have a New Year resolutions in place?

Yes - I have been wanting a tattoo for about 5 years now and I really need to pull the trigger on it.

7. do you have any traveling plans for the next year? 

Myself and the wife are going to try and do a Switzerland/Italy trip in the later part of the year.

1. After playoff disappointment is both the M abd the E, I am more than ready for the playoffs.

2. It is hard to be upset with a performance that was second in the league for points by rookies.

1. That was very disappointing. Do you think there's a particular reason for that? 

Pretty simple - Simon has something against hedge during the playoffs.

2. With 3 players set to retire following this season, do you think we can repeat this season's success in S92? 

We had major turnover after last season and were one of the best teams in the league. I'm confident our GM will make another competitive team.

3. How excited are you to welcome our rookies next season? 

Always nice to bring in new faces that will be with the team a long time. We have a fantastic scouting department.

4. In your opinion, do I need to bring forwards more or defense via trade/FA?

I think you should go for BPA in FA and then whatever is needed after you acquire via trade. 

5. Out of remaining 4, who wins it all? 

Toronto Legion   they have some great players!!

6. For me, a winter period is the most depressing one. How about you? 

After Christmas for sure - its super depressing seeing it get dark so early. Plus I hate the cold if I'm not doing fun outdoor things.

1. Yes, they are better then the IRL Toronto team(s)
2. Way to shallow needs more players.
3. Smart, S93 draft might actually be good or London could miss the playoffs

Very happy  Actually nice to get a win after so long.

Yes it is - one of the most shallow I've seen since my return.

hedge never loses a trade so I think we're in good shape after that one.

I'm always excited for a draft. Probably more excited to see if Toronto wins again next year.

Not too bad - had some great vacations. Work was also fun. Can't really complain at all.

Definitely a snowy. It's always cold for me so at least it should be pretty.

He stayed home and had friends over and got hammered until the countdown.

No gifts in New Years but waiting for the stores to die down to use gift cards.

Finally got my first win since 2007 so good.

1. A middling 4-5-1 start so far. What can we do to improve this situation? 

 - Keep waiting a bit longer to assess where we are. Not a big enough sample size. Also the AGM needs to do pressers again.

2. Do you think we can improve this situation?

- We may not need to improve - lets ride it out a bit.

3. How the season start went for your player? 

- Had a hot first game but barely PPG since. Legion continuing to be low event hockey.

4. Also do we have a chance to improve the activity of this presser? 

- Maybe I gotta get them out a bit earlier. Will aim for mid-week so people have more time to get PTs in. 

5. Do you think Fradin needs to fight more to give us a morale boost? 

- If that's what it takes to get their letter back then absolutely.

6. How excited are you about the most recent YT ad and how much first gens it has brought so far? 

- I haven't seen it or heard about it. I just hope the ad actually shows what the league is and the first gens are excited about how to make your player better.

1. Give our rookie netminder some time to grow. 

2. If everyone continues developing, we will improve.

3. Decent start. Five goals good. -9 not good.

4. As the season continues, should see more activity.

5. Fradin fighting always helps my moral.

6. As a VHLM AGM, I can't tell you how excited I was to stumble upon the recent YT ad. After the disaster that was last season. There is hope in Halifax again.

Not bad. the team became considerably younger so hanging on is a good stuff already

 

2.  What do you think is the biggest difference beteeen this years and last years team when it comes to success?

 

More vets last season so better chances were there. but we're fighting still

 

3.  What does the team need to keep doing to stay above water? 

 

try to score more. not an easy task, but can be achievable towards the late season if we improve on the practice

having active goalies is always good lol

Uncertain answer. Depends if we're still on the playoff spot or very nearby by it.

Bļugers scoring! he found his team and lineup it seems like. oh yeah Elvis saga too. tough to trade him now however

1. It could be much more better but it early season so it could still turn around. 

2. Well last season team it looks so far at the moment.

1. An ok start but it is how you finish that matters.
2. We got younger so that might have an impact.
3. Maybe aquire some depth defense.
4. Solid development and skilled prospects.
5. Given the results last season it would probably better to buy.
6. The surprising individuals in the goal scorer race.
