he will not return to Riga. matter of fact he will not return to VHL at all, he is retiring

in fairness, it's not even really a losing streak. just a string of not so successful games. I'm not distracted by this cause I know we're playing a fine hockey

1. I still believe that we are close. A purchase of a defender might help.

2. I don't have an answer to this question. Playoff hockey is weird and anything can happen.

3. It is calm and focused. No panic only a desire to get the job done.

4. Given that he had hit the age of retirement, I don't think he will return.

5. You work harder everyday day until fortune favors you again.

6. Canucks and Jets have been the most consistent Canadian teams so far. Hard to pick against them at the moment.

1.  Maybe it's time to sell and make room for Kimi!  Kimi is ready to fly to Riga and help.

2.  Anything can happens IF any team can get in the playoffs, so I'll say yeah Riga can surprise if they can get red hot.

3.  It's a little rough but they're professional about it.  You win some and lose some.

4.  I'm not too sure tbh.  I hope he sticks around for his last season so Kimi can go bwoah with him.

5.  It makes you appreciate winning streaks that much more.  Losing sucks but losing can show you your weaknesses.

I guess team believes more in tanking than being tryhard for the 5th seed. Decent choice, now I know what pick not to sell

AK is sad. He might actually be sold and not finish his career at homeland

I guess there's always next season. This season is only for stats and stuff

1. We can't keep pucks out of the net. Need a tighter defense to support our young goaltender.

2. I believe that I am an important piece of the Reign's future and will not be moved. That being said nothing is certain. 

3. Management probably is starting to prepare for next season. Players never look beyond the next game.

4. I am probably near the top of that line. I need to step my gam up first.

5. Getting the first hat trick of the season.

6. Very little. The ending between McDavid and Matthews.

Wasnt bad. 30+ wins with mixed roster is a fine sign.

1. An ok season. We will get better.

2. I improved. And it met my expectations.

Im a very lazy assistant GM so I really can't make any statements on that,

I hope Jimi Jax gets in the world cup because then I'd be very excited for that.

Red Panda is technically still a prospect to me - I have high expectations for them.

Easily the top option for this - Fradin is going to be even better next year. I have high hopes.

1.  Keeping up with the new seasons of Formula 1 and WEC.  Still earning and applying TPE as well.

2.  It brought up some memories of the S87 finals when we were on the losing side, so yeah...

I'm definitely getting the itch to get season 93 underway now.  The offseason has been a fun experience so far though with the JST, the ProAm, and the World Juniors kicking off this week, not to mention the draft which was an exciting event.  I am ready, though, to get back into the regular swing of daily games with the same team and continuing to grow toward the VHL. 

 

2. Did you pay attention to the draft? If so, any surprises for you?

I did! I watched it all the way up until the third round because I was super excited to see where all of my Houston teammates landed.  I'm so proud to have been a part of such a great group, with 5 of us landing in the top 10!  I would say that was probably the biggest surprise for me, but then again, we had and incredible group so it probably shouldn't be.  The biggest surprise was probably Devote falling out of the first round. I was sure he was gonna go at least top 10, though I guess there were some good reasons why he slid so far.

Yay! Welcome me lol.  No, I'm super happy to be selected to this team and I'm really looking forward to continuing to grow as a player to really help Riga get the most out of their pick.  The expectations I have for myself are very high and my goal is to be a big part of helping this team win a championship in the near future!  I'm also really happy to be joining up with @horoscope and @fonziGG who both also had great players in this draft!

 

4.  Do you expect Riga to be busy in free agency?

I honestly couldn't really tell you.  I've been pretty focused on the VHLM this past season, getting used to the league, and developing my player that I don't actually know too much about how Riga stacks up against the rest of the VHL, what they're looking for, and who's available.  I'm still probably a season away from my first VHL game so I'm still just focused on what's in front of me right now.  That said, now that I've signed my ELC with Riga, I'll definitely be paying more active attention to the team to see how things progress throughout the rest of this offseason and throughout S93.

 

5. Are you paying attention to the VHL's World Cup of Hockey?

Again, my focus has kinda been on the VHLM level for now so I've been paying more attention to the JST and the upcoming WJC.  The World Cup of Hockey is a great event though and I hope that I'll be selected to represent Team USA at some point down the road.

 

6. Now in the dog days of the NHL season, are you ready for playoffs to start?

Well, as a Sharks fan, I'm ready to skip ahead to the draft so we can win the first overall pick and take Celebrini.  The longer this season goes on, the more I die inside every day. Will Smith is awesome though, so I'm gonna keep watching BC in the meantime.

I'm so ready. I'm excited for some league sims to see where I'm at. The offseason antics, such as the JST(despite being incomplete as of writing this), have proved successful in my eyes for user engagement. The JST was a lot of fun interacting with people, and seeing what people have to say on the forum.
2. Did you pay attention to the draft? If so, any surprises for you?

I wasn't available during the draft, but I was over-the-moon with my result. There were a handful of picks in the early rounds that I thought were upsets. 
You never know with these things.

These 3 individuals are all familiar to me. After seeing their respective body's of work, as well as their point allocations, I can only conclude that these are 3 very solid additions to any roster.

I don't think it should be too busy. There's a few shoes in the line up that will be hard to fill after losing some players to retirement. However, a lot of the roster is already signed from what I can tell.
5. Are you paying attention to the VHL's World Cup of Hockey?
It looks like Team USA is the team to beat, in my eyes. My former VHLM GM in Saskatoon, @Ricer13, is currently the GM for Team USA. Stacked lineup from top to bottom. They're currently in the quarter finals, and I don't think they plan on stopping.
6. Now in the dog days of the NHL season, are you ready for playoffs to start?
I have just one question in response: Are the Oilers for real this time?
A question asked by many before, I'm afraid they might be. 
With McDavid/Draisaitl still scoring at scary rates, GA is down from last season, and a solid 2nd line, they're ready for a run.
Also, Calvin Pickard with an 0.919 SV% in 14 GP? Elite.
