It’s the Mississauga Hounds now. A great team managed by @ColeMrtz and @Bacon. The Hounds is also the team that Lee Xin started out with. His stats, amazing because it’s all 0.

Team Review

Because of the very successful recruitment drive, majority of the teams see themselves with a full roster and it includes Mississauga. The Hounds have players from every cap situation, from low to capped. They have in their hand’s players like Askarov, Tsujimoto, Bedard and the L and R brothers. All their players are also above the 70 tpe mark. The Hounds were also home to players like Patrik Tallinder, Kris Rice, Jimmy Spyro and Marshall James Frostbeard. These players are all in the VHL now and are stars in their own field. Spyro had a long winning streak at the start of the season for Vancouver! A veteran in the VHL Rayz Funk was also part of this team and has recently retired. All the best to him and his retirement! Looking at their netminders now. The franchise has never had a goalie pass the 0.900 SV% which is odd because they have 2 netminders with 9 career shutouts while playing for this team. The Hounds also has had rising stars like Lexi Glass, Pietro Angellini and Cole Newhook play for them. What a mix of talent here! Their draft picks are absolutely non existent here for S75. However, they have 2 1st round picks in S76.

Trade Review

The main reason why Mississauga has 0 picks this season is because they spent it on player The Blob and also for S74 draft picks. The reason behind this might be to help them be a contender this very season. If it’s otherwise then I do not know. One trade that stood out to me was the one with Yukon. Trading Tee Pee E II for R, the brother of L. I don’t know who names their children that but they exist so yeah. This trade turned out to be an awesome one because R is contributing to the team! Tee Pee E II will certainly stay in the M next season which might see him come back stronger than ever. The GM’s decision to trade for The Blob was also decent with him showing offensive and defensive contributions. The Blob is a playmaker which sees him utilise his precise passing abilities here in Mississauga. A comment by the Yukon GM: "I think even now later on in the season it was just a good fair trade. I feel like Yukon may have lost it slightly, but Cole wanted L and R to play together and I wasn't going to be mean about it and try to squeeze everything I can out of him. I'm happy with Tee Pee E and I'm sure he's going to be a big player for us next season."

Player Review

Taro Tsujimoto @GustavMattias

Taro is almost guaranteed to stay, be active and cap because he’s Gustav’s recreate. Taro has put quite the season now plus he’s already capped. A guarantee to go up to the vhl next season, the rookie has 108 points for the Hounds. With 391 shots, you can’t deny that Taro doesn’t shoot his shot. A projected top pick in the VHL Entry Draft and I think he’ll go 1st overall. Taro is a great piece in Mississauga’s success this season and he’ll definitely make an immediate impact in the majors.

William Shakespeare II @Corgi34

With 65 points in 63 GP, William is also a key piece for the Hounds. He is good on both ends of the ice with 11 shots blocked and 2 shorties this season. William is definitely a two-way forward. William is rather disciplined for the amount of hits he has so Calgary will not need to worry about having a goon on their team. He has gone a little off track for now with his last update being Sept 27. Should we be worried? An achievement here. As of 19/10/20, he has eclipsed 100 games played! Congrats buddy!

L @gorlab

L is the brother of R. I really didn’t want to write this guy’s name because it’s so weird but here we go. With 96 defense, he has certainly helped Mississauga out a lot. A solid defensive defenseman that any team and teammate can trust on the ice. Despite his scoring not being his best ability, he has 5 PPG already. L doesn’t necessarily has the most amount of shots but his skills really shine when it comes to setting up someone for a shot, high danger opportunity and even the possibility for a breakaway.

The Blob @JorgTheGoat03

Mississauga is guaranteed to have him back for another season as he might not cap this season. Blob’s main source of income is affiliate and welfare at the moment. Blob has also become more disciplined this season which will help him get more ice time. With 75 defense, he isn’t a top D-men right now with lots of improvement ahead of him. Prague drafted him at 32th overall and I don’t see why not to. He’s slowly improving making Blob a great piece for the future.

Vsevolod Askarov @Gooningitup

The goaltender has played a big majority of the games here. With 47 wins, I’ll say he’s alright. With 4 shutouts as well, he’s having a great season. This season sees him has the highest SV% and lowest GAA in his career. Overall, he’s improving as well but it’ll take some time for him to be the best at his craft. With Lafontaine in Calgary, he will most likely be the backup for a season or two in Calgary before taking up more games.

Dan Dan @MMFLEX

A player that can both shoot and set up their teammates for a goal is truly a gem in the VHL. Dan is also a two-way forward that has 15 PPG in his hands at the moment. With 155 tpe, he has been efficient in the D and O- zone.  A team would want to pick him up in the VHL entry draft if possible. A consistent earner with affiliate PT, welfare, practice and trivia. Dan will be a good prospect for teams in need of a two-way forward with solid and fluid movements on the ice. A VHL team that wants to bring physicality in a ‘clean’ way would want to draft him as well. He hasn’t done well in playoff games but it’s just 4 games so I wouldn’t be too worried about him. Mississauga would probably be able to have him for another season.

There’s the end of the Mississauga Hounds review. Next team, Miami Marauders.

(1110 words, claiming for 1/11 and 8/11)

Review

Probably not a team I will end up on but fun read nontheless! It's definitely nice to see VHL/VHLM teams with full rosters nowadays, given that things looked a lot more bleak when I was last around, when even competing teams often weren't even able to ice a full active top-6/4 and tanking teams roster could be almost completely empty. I gotta familiarize myself a bit more with todays league and roster structures and articles like this one are a great help for that.

I've been writing these articles for a while now. I'm halfway through the entire vhlm so if u want to read the rest, u can! But they might not be as up to date because they are written before this surge of players

Good healthy article with plenty of information on a possible Championship finals match up for the Las Vegas Aces. Easy to read with separated structuring. Could include review on the season performance of the team. How the team might perform for the future. Opinion on direction of the team with no picks in the foreseeable future. Could include opinion on management performance, etc. Interesting read and good information lazy scouts :D 9/10

I am so happy someone does their formatting similar to mine. Only thing that I would suggest is for the Quote it doesn't seem necessary to make it a darker color. I'm on Dark mode and it's semi hard to read comapred to the other paragraphs. Maybe instead of changing the color you can bold and Italic them or add an underline 9/10.

Great job again at this point it feels like a scouting report for playoffs, easy to read and great paragraph structure with solid information on the players, only thing for criticism is maybe add a picture

rating 9.5/10

Review: I don’t know how you can write such long articles, it’s a skill I haven't developed yet. Good paragraphs, although first two are a little long. Nice use of boldness, and some great content here.

9/10
