Hello @Kuminga, happy to see you've decided to lace up your skates for the first time here in the VHL. I am fromtheinside, Assistant GM of the Yukon Rush. The Rush are off to a great start to their season are are looking to make a solid playoff run. We are currently 4th overall in the league. Our roster is pretty deep top to bottom, but we are still looking for a defenseman or two to fill out our roster. We can currently offer bottom pair minutes to start. But despite starting on the bottom pair, I can help work with you to develop your player quickly. If you work hard we definitely can move you up the depth chart in due time. 

 

Yukon prides itself on providing and positive and friendly team Discord and locker room. We especially try to help new users when they get started as there is a ton of information to take in at first, but we are here to help out. Welcome to the VHL! I'm tcookie, part of the new management group for the VHLM's Mississauga Hounds. We're looking to be a playoff team this year, and with some hard work from our players, we can close the gap on the top teams in the VHLM and give them a run for their money. Both @Zetterberg and I were part of a special season with the Miami Marauders two seasons ago where we won a championship with a team mostly full of players signed during the season just like you - so we know how to build a winner and what some hard work can do!

 

We've got some really good members here that will help you get familiar with how the league works and get you started out on the right foot. As far as playing time goes - you'll be starting out on the 3rd pair here, but as long as you're active and updating your player, you'll move up the lineup in no time.

The Saskatoon Wild are a team being counted out, but are exemplified by hustle and grit, and we've come a long way from opening day. Our defensive core has done well considering the circumstances, but we still have room for more depth. With five defensemen, we have room to add another blue liner and complete our pairings. This would still give you quality ice time, and depending on what type of defensemen you're looking to become, there are roles on the power play and/or penalty kill available as well. It's an ideal situation for a player looking for good ice time, but still being allowed time to develop before getting top flight minutes. 

 

Take the time to review all of your offers, as you very rarely get the chance to directly choose where you'll be playing in the VHL. Make sure you take full advantage of this chance and go with the team that can give you exactly what you're looking for.

I am the GM of the Houston Bulls, I can offer you 4th line with very limited minutes.There are a lot of teams who still have a lot of room in the main squad. So please feel free to wait and see what other offers you get.
