6. If you could change one thing about your game what would it be? I wish I could score more points, I'm supposed to be a sniper but currently, I'm not producing the way I should be. 7. What are you most proud of in your ability to play the game I think my ability to be invisible is pretty great. I can play with some of our top players but I always seem to get that 3rd assist on a goal or I just don't score 8. What has been the hardest thing this season to get over from the last. Not putting up as much points as I want to be 9. What advice would you give to the rookies? I'd tell them to just keep working, if it doesn't seem to be working now, give it time, it should work out in the end. 10. What do you think about your early role this season? I think I am a 2nd liner so far but had a shot at the top line but didnt make it so i got demoted but have been enjoying the time there with a career season. 7. What is the one book you would keep and read for the rest of your career? Percy Jackson 5th installment, you guys might notice the name with my username. Percy Jackson: The Last Olympian -
Shawnomir Jagr has been slowly but surely improving each season he has played in the VHL. In his first season, Jagr scored 11 goals to go with a measly 5 assists for 17 points. This went along with 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points in the playoffs en route to the Finals where the Wolves were swept by Helsinki. So that was 21 points in 89 games, which is not much production. In Season number 2, Jagr improved to 10 goals and 31 points in the regular season plus 10 points in 18 playoff games for 41 points in 90 games. That is almost a point ever other game. Plus the Wolves won the Continental Cup which is quite the accomplishment for the Wolves franchise. This season, Jagr continues his assent with 22 goals and 42 points in 64 games which is more than his total career high last season. Maybe next year will be the full breakout we expect from Jagr or maybe it will be more of the same, just small improvements. However, I think so far, the 2nd round pick has more than lived up to expectations.

GM: Jason Glasser (720/404/268/48/856) Former GM(s): Jardy Bunclewirth (504/172/307/25/369) Record (after S20): 1,224 GP | 576 W | 575 L | 73 OTL | 1,225 P | 3,668 GF | 4,162 GA Playoff Record (after S20): 95 GP | 49 W | 35 L | 11 OTL | 3-1 vs TOR, 1-1 SEA, 1-1 vs HEL, 1-1 vs QUE, 1-0 vs DAV, 1-3 vs NYA Season 36 VHL Entry Draft Round 2, Pick 16: Kaspars Tzsling Trades (season): None Season 36 Regular Season - 72 GP | 6 W | 65 L | 1 OTL | 13 P | 88 GF | 357 GA After multiple seasons of going for it, the Calgary Wranglers were finally forced to rebuild. Well, rebuild as best they could with no assets left to trade off and no draft picks, the team was what you would expect. This probably looks like how the Toronto Legion of current times will look in the future (S64 to present S68). Calgary was only able to secure Kaspars Tzsling in the S36 draft via a 2nd round draft pick. The Wranglers season was a write off right from the start and finished as one of the ugliest season in the history of the VHL. The team finished with a 6-65-1 record for 13 points. Henrik Larsson came back to the team after a small hiatus to post a 33 goal 58 point output. Hashtag Manning came in to score 17 goals and 40 points. That was it for players of note for the Wranglers. Well I guess we can mention goaltender Rock Star who had a 6-57-1 record with a 0.912 save percentage and a 4.90 G.A.A. plus 3 assists and even 1 shutout. His save percentage was actually not too horrible so consider that without Rock Star the Wranglers might have not even won 6 games. Season 36 Playoffs N/A The Calgary Wranglers did not qualify for the Season 36 Playoffs. Trades (off-season): To S37 QUE 1st (C Travis Boychuk)S37 RIG 2nd (D Ron World Peace)To S37 SEA 1st (C Konstantin Azhishchenkov) Looking at this trade, makes you wonder what GM Mike Szatkowski was thinking. The Wranglers saw a player they wanted in Boychuk and figured he would be available at a later position so pulled the trigger and got Riga's 2nd round pick in the process. Boychuk was indeed taken with the pick bu the Riga 2nd was traded away at a later time. To S37 SEA 2nd (D Jack Ryan)S38 TOR 2nd (D Spud Murphy)To S37 RIG 2nd (D Ron World Peace)S37 DAV 2nd (C Kez Kincaid) The Wranglers then moved that Riga 2nd with Davos' 2nd for Seattle 2nd and a Season 38 Toronto 2nd. Just looking at the names in the trade, I would say the Wranglers lost because Ron World Peace was a solid VHL defender in his career and was easily the best player in the trade. To (S30) D - Lars LessioTo S38 CGY 4th (Forfeited) The Wranglers reacquired Lars Lessio for the small price of a Season 38 Calgary 4th which was later forfeited. So this would go down as a win for Calgary albeit slightly. Awards: None Overall: The Wranglers are now in the midst of a long long long rebuild. Years of going for the Championship, culminating in a Season 30 championship plus a few close calls. The Wranglers now face a tall task of coming out of this hole. Henrik Larsson becomes the 27th player in Wranglers history to reach 100 points with the team with his 104 points in 144 games. Hashtag Manning comes in at tied for 46th with his 40 points. Rock Star is last on the goalie list with 6 wins but is 6th with his .912 save percentage. Overall, it was a write off season and one the fans don't like to talk about. Calgary Wrangler Stats
