  1. Jussi Jokinenegg - Protect speed
  2. 1. I thought it was kinda weird at first but then I learned he used to wear 13 so it's less weird now 2. None that come to memory 3. Gotta go with option 2 4. Blue 5. 0/10 you have tons of inspiration 6. I once played 20 minutes as goalie with skater equipment because our goalie went to the wrong rink. Only let in 4 goals. Switched with another player after the first period until he foolishly stopped a slapshot with his gut and I had to go back in. Refs implemented a no slapshot rule for either team after that. Goalie (and another player who's mom was the drive) showed up in time for the third. We won 15-8. House league is the best. To answer the question, I'd play goalie for 5 minutes with skater gear (assuming I can still play the rest of the game as a skater)
  3. 1. Your mom goes to college (also so have I) 2. My college experience was different than my university experience so its hard to say. Uni I lived on campus and right in the community so I felt more connected to the school and it was easier to make friends (also was fresh out of high school so had more energy) and college I started when I was 28 and had to commute so it was different vibes for sure 3. Low risk high reward type thing that the Habs have hit on a few times over the years. As a Leafs fan, I'm not a fan of it 4. A thrilling loss in game 7 of round 1 5. NHL needs more offer sheets. Bring the drama 6. Brick Wahl
  4. 1. Sometime before the end of the season, that's for sure. 2. Creating a funky backstory 3. Slamball. Football for fantasy purposes mostly, a bit of baseball and basketball 4. Collision Course by Jay-Z and Linkin Park 5. That's tough. Probably Chel or Rock band. Maybe Pokemon if we count game boy games 6. What do you call a pig that does karate? A pork chop!
  5. 1. Hell yeah he will, guys a machine 2. I do, guy's a machine 3. Hits but not with my current player. Maybe I go for it next build 4. Probably single season points 5. They still exist, so yes 6. My high score on "Bop-It" was pretty good back in the day
  6. 1. 8 points in 13 games as a rookie has surpassed my expectations already! 2. Slow start but we're rebuilding so not really surprised. The future looks bright! 3. I think DC will get it 4. London is pretty stacked 5. There's too many flavors to pick a favorite but I do think plain chocolate is overrated 6. Hell yeah I do
  7. 1. It's a rebuilding year for us but I think we'll fight hard and keep things interesting 2. First year in the V, there's definitely going to be some growing pains but hopefully enough points to validate having lots of minutes 3. Eats 7 hard boiled eggs each game (1 before, 1 during each period, 1 at intermissions, 1 at the end) 4. Scoring my first goal 5. Drinking and reading on the beach 6. Sunny with a few clouds, slight breeze, low 20s (celsius)
  8. Jussi Jokinenegg was all over the score sheet for the Oslo Strom in their game 1 matchup of the VHLE playoffs against the Vasteras Iron Eagles. The young Fin scored is first career VHLE playoff goal 32 seconds into the 2nd period and added an assist a couple minutes later on the eventual game winner by Olumide Anderson. "Eggboy", as he's sometimes referred to, also put up 6 shots, 1 hit, and was +1 to go along with 2 minor penalties, both in the 1st period, to round out the score sheet. He'll need to be more disciplined in the remaining games if the Storm are going to prevail in this match-up. In what is likely his final season in the VHLE, Jokinenegg has 1 goal and 3 assists through 6 games this postseason, as well as 36 shots, 17 hits, 1 block, and 10 PIMs.
  9. 1. I'm doing well as its my 3rd season here, I think the rest of the team is doing well as well 2. I have a nice, overpriced bachelor apartment with a balcony 3. Too early in the season to tell 4. No, as I mentioned, its my third year in the big E 5. Just keep up the positive attitudes! And maybe some pizza parties 6. Probably 3 American beers or 1 Canadian beer
  10. Consider it accepted! LFG
  11. 1. It's an exciting time for the Reign! Looking forward to seeing what you can do 2. Yes, there is a lot of skill in the locker room. "Trust the process" - Joel Embiid 3. I'm excited to be one someday 4. The stars would be crazy not to sign with Riga 5. So hyped. Can't wait to score some goals 6. Good in the standings but less good on the ice
  12. 1. I have faith that we will (we already have because I'm late) 2. Got off to a slow start, but he finished strong. Worse offensively than last year but better defensively 3. No, I expected more assists 4. Hell yeah we did 5. Chicken wings and cheesy bread 6. I don't understand the question
  13. 1. In the words of the great RuPaul: "Good luck, and don't f*ck it up" 2. I'm looking forward to taking down the first place team, San Diego 3. I think Rin Kigamine is going to keep up their hotstreak all the way into playoffs 4. We can hold onto 2nd place. 5. Tough. I'm stuck between Community, Breaking Bad, and Arrested Development 6. I haven't watched enough anime to give a good answer to this question so I'm going to plead the 5th
  14. 1. He had a slow start but I'm happy with his production as of late. Hoping for a bit more consistency going forward. 2. I think it's our goaltending. Reed has been solid and not much gets past him 3. I have not 4. I like it to not taste like coffee 5. Vanilla soft serve with sprinkles 6. Strawberry is a very underrated flavor for sure.
  15. 1. Not at all, we're a great team and just needed to gel properly 2. Hard work, great play, and good management 3. Yes I have 4. He shoots a lot and seems to have gotten his discipline under control 5. 100% McDs 6. Going off the board with this one and picking autumn. It's a nice mix of both
  16. Riga Reign prospect Jussi Jokinenegg recently played in his 100th career game in the VHLM, all with the Saskatchewan Wild. Drafted 24th overall by the Wild, and 42nd overall by Riga, JJ, who hails from a small town in Finland called Kalajoki, has put up 72 points in 101 games. With 57 points as a rookie, Jokinenegg finished 4th in team scoring. The young winger got off to a slow start in his 2nd season and is in the bottom half of the Wild scoring list, but has picked up the pace as the red hot Wild went on a 12-2 run, rocketing them up the standings. The lack of scoring seems to have paid off in the defensive end, however. Jokinenegg is a +13 so far this season, a vast improvement from his - 29 as a rookie. The future is bright for the speedy Fin, and he and the Saskatchewan team prepare to make a run at the title and bring the Founder’s Cup up north.
  17. 1. Not too bad! Still lots of time to go on a hot streak and take first place. 2. Not the best. Too many penalties and not enough offense. 3. Rin Kagamine has been getting it done at both ends of the ice and deserves to be recognized. 4. My lack of offense. 5. Anywhere warm with family or friends and a drink in my hand. 6. My grandparents Lebanese food.
  18. 1. I did not expect us to be at the bottom of our division this far into the season. We are giving up far more goals than we should be 2. I would like Jussi to improve his defensive play 3. In our limited successes this season, it seems we match up best with Halifax and that's why we get our best results against them. 4. My grandparents homemade Lebanese food 5. Late, so I'll just say that I was excited and expected more trades on day one that actually happened, but day 2 was fun 6. Probably airplane because it's faster but boat would be good for just a short trip that wasn't rushed
  19. 1. I am. No idea who the Leafs will pick but maybe Mitchkov will drop that far??? 2. While we are obviously destined for greatness, I am looking forward to some tough battles with Philadelphia 3. Adam Fantilli for sure. 4. I drink a lot of iced tea (usually non-alcoholic). So refreshing! 5. Halifax. Always fun to play your hometown team (mine not Jokineneggs) 6. Yes because it is delicious and I can pretend its healthy
  20. 1. Jussi will set up some highlight reel goals and help lead Team Steel to victory! 2. I think Team Steel will be the toughest out because we have an incredible GM (and because we're currently 5-1 as I write this 3. Based on Jussi's performance so far at the JST, I think he'll be selected lower than originally hoped. 4. It's a tough choice between King Kisslinger and Marty Byrd. Two outstanding prospects that I can learn a lot from 5. Lots of confidence from everyone. We know we can get this done. It's a great atmosphere in there 6. I cannot pick just one, so a few are ACDC, Great Big Sea, Arkells, Billy Talent
  21. 1. The community and creating a unique player 2. I do not 3. Getting in the zone with some music 4. Something loud and fast 5. Baseball 6. Broken collarbone as an early teen
  22. 1. Returning member! Took time away because I got busy and am finally getting around to returning to the league 2. Creating a fun backstory for my player. And leading a team to victory, of course 3. Not this time 4. Eager to get on a team 5. The Leafs 6. No
  23. Okay great, sounds good!
