Well hello everybody! A new forum upgrade also brings us a new VHLSC rankings chart. After we took a week off last week to allow for maximize earning ability and exposure, we are back to bring you another exciting edition of the VHLSC Draft Prospects Rankings! This past two weeks some of our prospects were wracking up the most amount of practice hours they could in the gym and on the ice. This brought for a lot of movement in our rankings and a bit of extra news to add to our storylines. This weeks theme at the end of the roundup is "Who Are These Guys?" as we turned to some scouts and hockey analysts for their opinion on some of the potential VHL draftees. Let's get you caught up with the roundup though!
First thing we notice is a lot of movement as well as a huge effort by most of the prospects vying for a first round selection. This draft now has twelves prospects that have reached the century mark on their practice hours logs. That is a huge number considering at draft time last year, we only have 9 draftees to eclipse that same plateau. Not only did those twelve prospects get past that mark, we could see another four join the cool group. Before we give you a rundown we should mention that we know Jonathan Killeen should be higher than Jon Panik on our lists, but it does remain to be seen whether this past week was abnormal or a new trend of activity. The top earner this week (or two weeks) goes to Niels Skovsgard who had a huge couple weeks and pushed himself into first round conversation. Niels wasn't the biggest mover though, as that title belongs to Benjamin Tumack, who despite not being in that century club, is making it hard to think he won't eventually make it there in time. As always it is good to see Gregory Fallum and Cooper Supernaw making a jump in the middle of our rankings, both these goalies have a shot at greatness in the VHL with some help. Let's ask the scouts how they see some of these prospects!
