    ANNND WERE BACK! we have our very special guest in EVAN R LAWSON FROM THE CALGARY WRANGLERS! Welcome to the show, just a quick thank you because you are our first VHL player not a prospect! 

    Lawson- Yea well thanks for havin me on! ive been a fan since you lads started!

    Well lets jump straight into the questions! nobody comes here for the small talk...

    QUESTION ONE are you happy with how you started off the season?

    Not too bad so far, I'd like to be doing a little better to try to get most improved but I'm miles better than last year. If I keep up the pace I'm on that should be a good season for me.

    Well considering your on the best team in the league I think as long as your puttin up points your pretty dam good!

    but uhh How do you think the team is performing so far? Obviously first place and all but whats your take?

    1st place by a lot, so you know, I'm pretty happy with that. We have the best goalie in the league who is almost twice as good as the second best, plus a couple great forwards and a great d, so yeah we're killing it.

    So yea you've got everyone else's opinion Im just gonna say it! NO OFFENCE BUD BUT GO LEGION!

    Ok but what place are they in again? oh sorry...

    Who would you say is the biggest rival to you and/or your team? TORONTO RIGHT?!

    Ha no..Davos right now. The defending champions, beat us in the finals, they're the biggest threat to us winning the cup and therefore the biggest rivals. Quebec are somewhat rivals as well as they're doing pretty solidly this season. As of late they're dropping off but you never really know.

    Oh I dont know what they're doing over there...

    NotAdam- .What are some things the team could work on that they are aware of? 

    Defensive depth. Johnsson and Quill are great but it's a massive drop off to Stromberg. Ultimately, it's better to have a good offense in this league, especially with the weakness of most goalies at the moment - no offense Kingfisher - but after those two guys it's such a night and day difference. 

    Yea I see what ya mean but then again first place eh? So tell us whats your mindset goin into a game?

    I always have to call my brother Hank exactly 17 minutes before the game. Just long enough to get in a small chat before coach confiscates the phones until after the game. 

    Cool cool..So uhh what was you favorite team growing up as a child 

    Pittsburgh Penguins. I've been watching them since I was a kid, grew up on one of the greatest players to ever play the game, Mario Lemieux. Saw Jaromir Jagr when he was actually young, Ron Francis when he played and before he was GM and part owner of Carolina, Paul Coffey, Tom Barrasso, the list goes on. I'm not gonna lie I miss the NHL but without that league folding we wouldnt have the VHL so its fine I guess..

    ITS NOT FINE I MISS MY LEAFS! -small crying noises-

    Ok while NotSteve has his mental breakdown we'll keep going with the questions...any goals for the season?

    I'd like to finish above a point per game. I've been floating right around that mark all season

    It'd honestly be great to see that your havin a great season.. I think ya may have just broken Notsteve so... Were gonna let you go good luck with the wrest of the season!

    The Davos Dynamo come off a decent two games with a win and a loss but, one of the teams rookie's Jacob smith comes of with TWO POINTS HE GETS TWO ASSISTS IN TWO GAMES WHAT A STELLAR PERFORMANCE BY SMITH! Anyway back to the games they lost to New York but took the dub against Helsinki. The team has really picked it up in the past couple games even beating Calgary! Coming off a big Continental cup victory the expectations were pretty high I think they have done well in the past couple games but they definitely need to step it up and start winning more games. The fanbase wants a repeat we're all hungry for the cup. This coming offseason they have a couple things to do resign the big Fa's and sign SMITH TO AN EXTENSION HE WANTS IT... anyway back to the team they made a couple moves last offseason maybe for the better but we'll see if they repeat it was worth it if not were comin for ya @Tyler lol.....Maybe broduer can be that amazing goalie he was last year but some fans are starting to think age is catchin up to him just hold on for a little while man!

    ANNND TODAY! We have our very special guest @ShawnGlade GM of the Halifax 21's and also a pretty dam good player.. SO Shawn, Your team is a brand new expansion team.. at first you were just supposed to be the AGM so we have to congratulate you on that!! Also, an AMAZING DRAFT! And to top it all off your first in the league... HOW THE HELL DID YOU MANAGE THIS? 

    SHAWN- well when you've got two star goalies and the guy in first place for the LEAGUE in points it kinda helps..

    Alright then let's just jump straight into the questions..

    Alright! What are some things the team is aware of they can work on?

    Well there are a few guy's not coming to practice and they aren't developing as much as we would like them to..

    Well SHAWN YOU GOTTA BRING DOWN THE HAMMER! but uhh they dont seem to be hurting you that much.. y'know first place and all..

    Yea but it would still help maybe win more games.

     Well anyway.. Any pregame rituals? what are you thinking heading into a game?

    Nah not really anything I do.. I just go out there and do what I need to do I make sure i do everything i can to get the dub

    NOTAdam- Yea you do seem to be pretty focused thats a great trait to have. So who is your biggest rival? Or even your teams biggest rival?

    I'd have to say Ottawa there a pretty good team they just moved into second ahead of Vegas and were always trading wins.

    And even better your both Canadian teams!

    We got that BIG CANADA RIVALRY especially since the other teams kinda fell off.. -cough cough- Yukon sucks -cough cough- 

    ANYWAYYY! I know this is kind of a weird question but why hockey?

    Uhh its fun lol. why wouldn't you want to play hockey

    Yea!! atta boi hockey is the best and everyone knows it! So uhh whats your plan for the WJC?

    I want to play for the US and be the number one defenceman It's been a dream of mine since i started my career hell its every hockey players dream even if it isn't the Olympics.

    IF ONLY YOU WERE CANADIAN! WE NEED DEFENSE SINCE SMITH DECIDED HE WAS ITALIAN! BAHHH!

    So ignoring ste..NOTsteve what was your favorite team to watch growing up

    I was a big bruins fan I loved watching them play i hated the day the NHL folded but hey we got the VHL from there absence so its fine with me plus we don't have Gary Bettman anymore so even better lol

    So steve do ya have any predictions for the VLHM? like final standings or founders cup champs?

    I think the standings will stay the exact same or maybe Vegas and Ottawa will switch but that'll be it and for the playoffs... HELL IMA SAY IT VEGAS IS TAKIN IT HOME BABY!! But, really I dont know at all i could see any of the top 3 winning there all contenders..

    Vegas?? how about them 21's... anyway any thoughts on the VHL at all?

    What the hell is happening to the Dynamo.. they keep losing to teams that arent on the same level as them.. if I were them id be very active at the deadline trying to make sure im a contender. OR im making sure my rookies arent gonna walk away when there deal is up. there team is only aging they need there draftees to be good and stay with the team but honestly I would want to leave and go to a team that could win in the next 2-3 seasons instead of a team rebuilding in that time..
