Heh I got fairly lucky in that regard as well because my wife is thrifty and can stretch a dollar as well as anyone. Sounds like poor @Jonessee27 has a bit of a bridezilla
Better invite some oldies to your wedding. They are less cheap and will give you good gifts to help offset the cost. I think we broke even on ours in the end.
Well presumably the only way this would happen is if the person went inactive and if they are inactive they should be auto-retired after so many seasons anyway. It wouldn't be very common to have a member chose to stay in the minors while staying active on the boards and not collecting welfare or doing point tasks.
If you would have read the thread you'd see I argued for the goalie as well. The specifics of trolling and abusing functions on the board have nothing to do with the award voting process, but unfortunately some members can't control themselves in these situations.
Come on now, as annoying as he's been in this thread, this is the exact kind of trolling that is completely unnecessary. If I see anymore in here, you'll all get similar suspensions.
Just for clarification for the people asking about the intersection, it's no different from any other two highways crossing in the province. The truck driver would have clearly blown a marked stop sign with a flashing light and the bus who have had no chance to react.
I think you have to look at goalie and skater stats comparatively. He's really far ahead of the next goalie in almost every category while Cornerstone has 2 other teammates in the top 5 in scoring on his roster. Aside from the hit total, he's not that far ahead of the other player behind him in points.
I looked through the stats and I could make an argument for both players tbh. Since I don't have a player, you're not going to find a less biased opinion on it around here either.
The off-season is fairly hectic for the simmers and admin crew and for that reason I'd argue the length of the season is adequate. If it's a matter of excitement, I'd support an 82 game season or other means to foster increased activity on the boards.
