  1. Unfortunately not, once you earn 201 TPE you’re over the VHLM cap. Dont worry though. You went to HC Davos and Shawn is a great GM.
  2. Your above 200 TPA, so you automatically go straight to the VHL with the team that drafted you. Congrats! I’ll add you to the Alumni list though.
  3. I didn’t make anyone work out. Dont hide the truth. We we all know who was top now.
  4. I left that in because I thought it was funny.
  5. SASKATOON, SESKATCHEWAN - As the holidays draw closer, and the VHL season nears, Rylan Peace finds himself in a unique position - as a player he is departing his second home, the place he won a championship and met some quality individuals. As a GM, however, Peace returns to Saskatoon ocassionally to tend to his duties as the assistant manager of the hockey club. Ironically, Peace also joins Saskatoon's General Manager Dylan Nguyen in Riga. When he's not manning his assistant (or acting) general manager office chair, he's donning the skates as Riga's newest second line right winger behind an all-star cast of players that also won the championship. It would be a joke to say Peace isn't excited for the opportunity to help Riga achieve a repeat, and potentially even a three-peat, but we know just how difficult that really is. Riga defeated Calgary in a best of seven series, winning the finals four games to two (4-2). This result engaged Calgary's rebuild mode, but also put Riga as serious contenders in the upcoming season. Quebec City is - most likely - their most troublesome competition, but Peace believes that Riga has the developing depth to emerge victorious. Oh, and not to mention the core of Riga was uneffected by cap restrictions for now. But despite being promoted to the big boy league, Peace's jersey has been returned to the equipment manager and their staff. Peace's 'C' is painfully stripped from his jersey and onto the next, a still unrevealed name now proudly donning the Wild Captaincy. It's the closing of an era in Saskatoon, even if it was just for a season, but it was a season the S63 Saskatoon Wild will remember fondly throughout their careers. A season of skill and resilience for the hockey team. The Saskatoon Wild found themselves trailing in the semi-finals against the Halifax 21sts (after a first round bye) three games to one (3-1), and after a quick decision to consistently rotate Carles Puigdemont number to keep goaltender Brick Wahl focused and 'in the zone', the Saskatoon Wild came back to win the remaining three games. Carles and Brick developed an affection for one another during the regular season, and when the series begun Brick seemed to be suffering from lust every time Carles was on the ice or in eye sight on the bench. Brick struggled the first game, but at one point it looked like it was a sure-fire win for the Wild. They were up 7-1 midway through the second period before a monumental collapse found them loosing the game 8-7. Game two was a stellar performance, where Wahl was a wall, shutting down the Halifax offense. The next two games, however, saw a Saskatoon lead blown once again and back to back defeats allowed Halifax to control the series 3-1. Peace changed tactics, playing a game of musical jerseys with Carles, and it worked. Saskatoon won seven games in a row on their way to a championship in what became just another inside joke. Peace even told the equipment staff to increase their efforts after Dahlberg begun telling Wahl what jersey number Carles was wearing. There really should be a rule for that, eh? But back in the office - although the chair might be empty and the desk collecting dust - Peace and the majority of the S63 Saskatoon Wild aren't ready to say goodbye. The club today officially announced that the following players were added to the Wild Alumni, giving them permanent access to the Wild's arena and most of the interior, including the ice surface if they ever need to practice. Although it's doubtful they'll often be seen back in Saskatoon, we suspect - like Rylan Peace is currently taking advantage of - during the offseason this tight group of friends will skate together again on the ice they celebrated a championship on, despite winning game four in Ottawa. WILD ALUMNI (LW) Chace Trepanier (LW) Kyson Blake (C) Anthony Dabarno (C) Mark Gebauer (C) Carles Puidgedemont (RW) Rylan Peace (RW) Matt Materazo (D) Toby Fitzgerald (D) Piotr Jerwa (G) Brick Wahl Any other former Wild members are urged to contact GM Dylan Nguyen or AGM Rylan Peace to be added to the list. AGM Note: Good luck in your new teams, guys, and thoes of you making your leap to the big leagues... I'll see you on the ice. Have fun and enjoy it. Peace out.
  6. Thanks guys! This is actually a fan 590 too, so I’ll just double claim for the 23rd and the following week.
  7. Welcome! Soon all (or those who can) VHLM General Managers will approach you with contact offers. All minor league offers are 1.5m for one season. if you need any help please let me now! Saskatoon has an immediate need for goaltending, we can offer you our starting position as long as you stay active. Once you’re ready to accept a contract, quote you’re intended offer and then accept their contract from the portal. good luck!
  8. As a pre-fix, I would like to say I actually recorded this using the iPhone's 'voice memo' application roughly 48 hours after the thread got out of hand, however I couldn't figure out how to upload it to any audio hosting website. I apologise, otherwise this would have been in audio format and delivered sooner - I just got access to a keyboard temporarily so I can finally type it out, it was impossible for me to type and listen at the same time on my iPhone. I had to either type or listen, not both: I'll type what I said out in repeat, obviously removing the sentence fillers that caused some pausing. (Uh, um, er, etc). "Good evening, everyone. I'd like to openly apologise to the staff, to Bushito and Blade for my involvement that lead to further aggression towards Bushito. I'm not typically an angry person, but that struck a cord so hard that I was nearly vibrating with anger. What lead was me calling Bashito petty, and insulting him by telling him to 'kindly fuck off'. I'm not here to defend my actions, I'm here to give my sincere apology to Bushito, who I attacked in the thread, and it lead to more people posting more and more aggressively. I maintain my stance on how I feel about it, but my actions in relaying my opinions were wholely unacceptable. I accept any consequences that come my way, either official from the staff or personally from Bushito. Thank you all for listening, Peace Out." Now at the time Bushito appeared firm that he wasn't going to draft Wahl, which he ended up doing in the second round in the recent draft. I was very happy that occured, and was honestly the number one 'shocking' pick in my book. Thanks for reading. - Peace
  9. Can I get a word count on this? For some reason it's not letting me select the whole text to check it myself on WordCount.
  10. So the draft has concluded, Ryan Sullivan Jr. went first overall and shortly after him - seconds really - Elias Dog Bird was drafted by HC Davos second overall. I knew this was coming simply because I asked my souces, simply walked into their office and asked 'He choosing Dahlberg?' Of course you all knew my answer, so it never really came as a surprise - however, what I was surprised by was the fall of Pat Svobada. I recorded a postcast on my iPhone, which unfortunately I can't seem to upload because it's a MP4 format and even SoundCloud won't accept it - not that I can actually find it on my phone in the first place. So now I'm stuck painfully typing out the rest of my TPE tasks carefully correcting auto-correct or else the entire website sees how horny I actually am and not just pornhub, capisce? Admitedly I'm also lazy, and I don't care about some of the words that may have been auto corrected. Pat Svobada fell to Quebec at fifth overall, and personally - in my own mock draft I did a podcast on (and I did listen back to it) I had Svobada going third. Why? TPE earning potential. For me stats mean jack shit, and that's a controversial opinion. 'Stats indicate how good a build is!', no I disagree - but we can agree to disagree. Stats indicate how shit STHS really is, and let's be honest I've pretty much seen the same opinion on the forums: hot garage. Not here to rant about STHS, just saying that stats aren't an indication of how good anything really is - at least in the minors. Explain to me how Burnt Toast got a point per game at 76 TPE as a defender, meanwhile Kronos Bailey (for example) underachieved despite being a capped player the entire season. I think, what's more important, is line chemistry. Dahlberg was so effective because he had passers. Saskatoon's top line last season, Trepanier - Dabarno - Peace, were either a dominant line or invisible. Simply because the whole line was shoot first, pass questions later - wait, no, just pass later. I think there is a place for statistics, don't get me wrong, but it will never be the deciding factor should I ever become a VHL General Manager - not that I'm particularly interested in that role anyway at the moment... since my computer, well, just check the Discord. Anywho. My parting words Congrats to all the new draftees that found a home during the S64 VHL Entry Draft.
  11. It’s a S65 1st though.
  12. So is @Quik the new @Devise, trading away all his firsts. Lol
  13. 3, “Agrinya” was a ban evasion so I’m hoping his player is removed from my team. @Banackock
  14. Welcome to the league! VHLM GMs from all six teams will be offering you contracts shortly. Consider all of them before making a choice, as the decision isn’t reversible. If you need any help I’ll be more than willing to assist. Since your making a left winger, Saskatoon can offer you first line minutes alongside one of the higher rated Centers in the league. Good luck!
  15. Welcome to the VHL! The Saskatoon Wild have submitted a contract offer, however I’d strongly recommend holding off until more teams have offered as were only one of six minor franchises. Good of luck with your decision! We we can offer you top pairing minutes and an active, friendly individual discord to participate in. (Edit: I’m on a phone as well, stop typing in the slow lane! @diamond_ace) lol
  16. Bushito reminds me of my dad. Question, do you believe Bettman is rigging the NHL for American teams?
  17. Saskatoon can offer you a great starting position and a ton of ice time! We’ve sent an offer, but consider every teams offer before accepting them. Good luck!
  18. Good job guys. Podcasts should be 7 TPE for all participants, right?
  19. Well, Saskatoon can offer you a starting position. Contract sent.
  20. It was a pleasure to both be your acting General Manager, and a player alongside you. Good luck in Ottawa!
  21. Very proud, we groomed you well. First overall, drafted away from Saskatoon. Sad day, but a happy one too. @Dtayl the kids are growing up to fast.
  22. He’s already signed by Yukon unfortunately.
  23. The draft is over, and I saw Matt_o post informing us you’ve been unfortunate to not be signed to a team yet. Saskatoon would like to officially extend a contract offer.
