Hey @dart ! Welcome to the league! As I'm sure you'll figure out quickly, this is a pretty awesome and accepting place, and it's quite easy to have tons of fun playing here. I'd like to offer you a spot on Halifax's 1st line this season. Our draft just finished up and we have great key pieces to make this a good season ahead of us and compete for a cup! If you'd like to accept, just quote this post and lemme know! If you'd like more info just lmk. Also even if you choose to accept another team's offer and have a question or concern, please don't hesitate to reach out to myself or @Dil as either one of us are more than willing to help you out! Have a nice rest of your evening! -

I'd like to apply. The entire time I've been on the site I've always wanted to be an updater. With no on-site jobs rn, I'd love to dedicate a ton of time to this. Would do my best
-
ill pass, but doesnt seem like a terrible idea for those that want to? just dont see the point
-
I'm coming for that top spot
-
I'll apply! You and I already have known each other for a few years, I think we've already got that chemistry
-
Hey! I'd love to be an AGM for ya. I have the VHL GM experience so I already know what I'm doing. Would love to get back into the GM world. A fun fact is I actually started off my GM career as the expansion GM for Halifax, so it would be cool to start both my GM eras off with expansion franchises!

I leave and Davos finally wins the lottery, huh
-
You GM'd Helsinki and I didn't hate Helsinki
-
Oh i am, you should see the stuff im doing its kinda cool. I'm just gonna need you to stop replying to every thread that the topic of management even comes up. At this point, you legitimately add nothing to the conversation, you do it just start shit, and you honestly cannot deny that. This happened almost 6 months ago, everyone has moved on apart from you. Nobody besides you ever brings it up, so it's your fucking fault we're even here. "Maybe if you made a list..." no fucking shit dumbass. I acknowledged it, you feel the need to circle back to it in every convo we have. So seriously, lay the fuck off. Nobody likes what you're doing

I changed my name and it was changed back, the fuck do you want me to do? Change my name 10 times a day? and not to mention it was 1 month, and i don't ever recall "needing their help" at any point. If you're gonna try and contribute to a discussion or try to be an asshole in every conversation you have with me, at the very least get your facts right

imagine not being over something that happened almost half a year ago

After a tough loss in Game 6 Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota Storm's season has come to an abrupt end, and with that Shawn Glade III's season is done. He signed on for a playoff run with the Storm, making his VHLM debut in a Game 1 loss that saw him record his first career VHLM point. The production wouldn't last though, as he wouldn't record another point all series, as the Storm were eliminated in Game 6. With the VHLM draft coming up in a few weeks, it's safe to assume that the rookie will be training hard this offseason to perfect his game and be a force in the VHLM next season for a shot at being drafted by a VHL franchise. "I'm trying to model my game after players such as Drew Doughty, being a force in my own end but also being able to put insane points on the board for my team."

oh my doomsday! please dont take this as being passive aggressive! i have learned from it doomsday! but please if you have anymore GM tips for me id appreciate them uWu

Minnesota Storm Press Conference Questions
ShawnGlade replied to Matmenzinger's topic in Team Press Conferences
5/4 - 5/10 1. Now that our season is officially over, how do you feel about this team? 2. Is there anything you wish was done differently this season? 3. Out of the teams remaining, who do you think will win the cup? 4. What comes next in the career of your player? 5. Are you being drafted this offseason? If so, where are you aiming to go? 6. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? 7. How much TPE are you aiming for by the end of the offseason? 8. Who's your favorite teammate on this team? -
oh wow this is great insight i have not heard yet doomsday do you have any more tips for me since youre such a decorated and well-known GM yourself? just an honor that i am even talking to you right now
-

As a former GM in the VHLM and VHL, i never used an AGM because there's simply no need. Everything within reason can be done by yourself. It's not even like GMing is a super time-consuming job in the first place. In my opinion, scouting is the hardest and longest process, but even that you can do over the course of a season and save yourself the stress and trouble. An AGM isn't supposed to take on GM duties to make life easier for a GM, rather an ideal AGM doesn't handle anything with the management parts at all, rather it's more beneficial to have an AGM run the infrastructure of the team and work on retention or keeping an active locker room, and promoting the brand of the team. Maybe they could give trade inputs or help with scouting, but in reality the workload isn't too much for a GM to handle, so I'd see the perfect AGM as more of a face off the team rather than the brains
